Great experience here, we were greeted and then left alone to browse the cars at our leisure. Test drive arranged and again, didn't feel any pressure or hard sell, just left to enjoy the experience. Everything dealt with efficiently and expertly. Henry is really good at his job. Showroom is great and the selection of cars is really extensive. Really happy with the whole experience. I bought a car!

After a dreadful experience at Trade Centre Coventry ( my lad bought 2 Audi A5’s neither worked properly. The first broke down 3 mile from collection the second never made it off the forecourt!! Shocking customer service worst I’ve ever experienced. Finally got all his money back and found a BMW 420i at Motorpoint. Absolutely superb car not one scratch or any fault whatsoever. Massive difference to the overpriced junk Trade Centre try and push on you . Walked around all the cars at Motorpoint could not fault any cars to be honest. All of them below 30,000 and didn’t see any older than 3 years . Very competitive pricing . So he settled on a BMW 420i . What an amazing car , just pristine condition throughout. Obviously these guys know cars and only buy good ones. No pressure sales, after we looked over the car the sales guy just gave us the keys for a test drive ( Trade Centre wouldn’t even let us drive it round the car park until he agreed the sale ) . Such a great experience at Motorpoint . Came back the next day to collect. Re washed and polished the car looked amazing ( have to say I was dead jealous of my lad ) . Motorpoint even put in 1/4 tank of fuel to get him home . Amazing customer service right from walking in through the doors. Rachel from sales took him through all the paperwork, made sure he was totally happy with the car . Sorted a 3 day insurance out for him , GAP insurance, just everything really what a great ambassador for the company- thanks again Rachel for your help , advice , knowledge patience and time. I’d definitely recommend this place , worth the drive out from Coventry park o see some really top notch cars . A very pleasant positive experience. I know my lad was totally happy with his car . When I come to change my car I know where I’m going ( definitely NOT Trade Centre) I’ll make the 3 hour round trip and be confident I’m getting value for money at Motorpoint. Purchased a Mini Cooper from here a few weeks ago. Kelvin was super helpful and knowledgeable. I was driving home in my new car about 2 hours after I arrived (and that included the test drive!) I'd leave 6 stars if I could because I inadvertently caused Motorpoint a real load of hassle and they were just excellent. I couldn't praise them more highly. On heycar I searched for an Audi Q4 e-tron and a number came up, including many labelled e-tron which I blithely assumed as just an abbreviation, and I ordered one of these. Delivery service was excellent. Except the car was much bigger than what I thought I had ordered. On checking I realised that the Q4 e-tron and etron are totally different cars and the much bigger e-tron wouldn't fit down my lane. So 2 days later they came all the way back from Peterborough on a Friday to collect the car I didn't want. I had several emails from their manager on the Sunday, and the £53k that I had paid plopped back into my bank account on Monday. Superlative service.

Trying to get hold of customer service is a full time job and really needs improving but when you finally do get through to them, most staff are willing to help and do a great job. Recently used Motorpoint to buy a second hand car and was very pleased with the impeccable service and great deal. Dealt with Mani and Guy on the sales team (in their respective locations) prior to arrival, who were both very helpful and informative; Guy arranged a seamless process from placing a deposit to organising a test drive / collection slot with text updates for reference. Sam was the agent on site in Peterborough; he accommodated my early arrival and sorted a test drive, paperwork, documents, and tax very efficiently - I was driving away about an hour after arrival. Very pleased with the service I experienced and my new car - would happily recommend them.

We phoned Motorpoint to enquire about any vans local to us, we were able to reserve and set up finance over the phone and collect the van later that day. The service was amazing! Been here twice, once for myself which was decent - was able to test drive two cars pretty quickly. Wasn’t happy with the drives but didn’t get pestered from the sales chap by phone or email constantly. Second time went with a friend during the handover process, young lad serving us was terrible. Very informal, horrible banter and didn’t have a clue what he was doing. Hot chocolate I had was good though so gained back a star.

Test drive was done without staff due to Covid - which I actually preferred as we could be more honest with each other about the car while driving it. Good safety measures in place indoors. The only thing I would say is make sure you have a coat if you go on a rainy day. Because it is exposed, it was cold and windy.

Recently purchased a nearly new car from Motor Point Peterborough and wanted to pass on my experience. After dealing with manufacturer / franchise dealerships in which they believed you were duty bound to purchase every needless add-on before you could actually buy a car it was refreshing to deal with staff who were open, transparent and not pushy. I felt they genuinely wanted you to purchase the right vehicle and were willing / helpful, without being intrusive. Car was received serviced and well prepared. There is a £99 prep / admin fee which is not included in window price but this is usual with large volume stockists now - could display better. Throughly decent company by my experience. I will seek to use again and recommend. Good coffee as well !.

Fantastic all round service and friendly welcoming staff, we dealt with Jordan who was very helpful from start to finish and then when we returned the following day to collect the car we dealt with Gail who was just as helpful and gave excellent customer service. The collection process could of been a little smoother as we spent 2 and a half hours in total there but that was through no fault of the staff it was more to do with the finance company. We were always looked after with free tea and coffee and a comfy seating area provide at all times. A different experience to buying a car. They managed to get me a very good deal on the model I wanted even though it's a very rare car. Only negative points were they decided at the last minute the paperwork was right which I could have easily resolved if they had told me 3 days prior to me turning up after a 2 hour journey. Took another 2 hours to sort once there before starting any paperwork. Also car had paintwork marks and scoffs that I had seen in any photos and wasn't notified of when I asked the condition. Overall not too bad though.

The entire process beginning with the telephone conversation with the rep who helped me to 'book' the car I wanted, to arranging finance all the way through to visiting the Peterborough branch to test drive and ultimately collect the car was exemplary. I was amazed at how easy it is to view, test and buy a car at Motorpoint in Peterborough. Friendly staff are always on hand to welcome you in, offer you a drink and assistance in finding a vehicle for your needs. I popped in initially on a Sunday afternoon to view some cars and was greeted by Dawson who guided me through the process of viewing and test driving their cars. As I was looking at selling my old car he offered to do a part exchange and I was really happy with the price offered to exchange my 9 year old car for a nearly new Nissan. It didn’t take long to get the whole process done and pay the fully refundable £300 deposit to hold the car until I could come to exchange my old car for the new one. Fast forward to mid-week and I was able to pay the balance of the car meaning that I could pick it up hassle free on my chosen day to suit me. When I went to pick it up I met with Michael who went through the whole sign over process. He is a really customer focused chap and was great through the whole process. He showed me round the car again to check it over then we went to do all the final paper work and tax the vehicle. Michael was great through the whole process coving all the necessary details and making sure everything was crystal clear. The whole process probably took no more than 30 mins before I was driving off in my new car. Thanks to both Dawson and Michael who are a credit to Motorpoint and for their brilliant customer service. I would recommend 100% to anyone looking at replacing their old car!

MASSIVE thank you to Tom B and Michael at Motorpoint Peterborough these past 2 days! Trading in my first ever car and had the ideal car in mind at Motorpoint - had a wonder around no one following me or pressuring at all. Had a sit down and Tom easily explained all the finance and fun figures for me (I am naturally blonde) in such a relaxed way, also agreed to do a valuation for part exchange on my car and a test drive on the new car there and then ! No hassle just a few minutes to sort it. Still had other places to visit so wasn’t 100% sure on securing the car down and Tom was unbothered by this was still super friendly and just told me to come back and see him if I needed any help. Purely because of that - I put down a deposit there and then as he made me feel so comfortable doing so. Spent the next day cancelling all other appointments at garages as the others gave me bad gut instincts especially from their poor customer service - and Motorpoint a call and they agreed they could have the car ready for me there just 6 hours later !!!!! Michael greeted me and helped me through all the paperwork in a professional but super friendly way and answered all my silly questions. He then brought the car round which had been valeted for me and looked superb - went through all the fancy tech work and how to work it all in great detail which was super kind as I hadn’t a clue how to use it all! Left feeling super happy, comfortable and safe knowing it had all been sorted by good hands. My mum and I visited the Motorpoint branch in Peterborough on 18/8/19 having bought a car from Motorpoint before. Following our first purchase of a car from Motorpoint two years ago we decided not to buy from Motorpoint again if we could help it as we had multiple problems with the car straight after purchase, including the car having been sold to us with a puncture to one of the tyres that had gone unnoticed by staff. However, upon finding what seemed to be the ideal car we were looking for at Motorpoint, we decided to give the company another chance. We purchased the car we had seen on this visit to the Peterborough branch as a result of the outstanding customer service by our sales representative, Migle Zezingyte. We entered the branch feeling a little apprehensive as we had just come from visiting another dealership a week prior but due to the absolutely shocking and downright rude service we received, we did not purchase the car, despite it being exactly what we wanted. We instead drove three hours to Peterborough and paid an extra £1,000 for the same car we could have purchased at the other dealership. Well what can we say … £1,000 WELL SPENT! Migle is exceedingly friendly and professional and put us at ease instantly. It is very easy to see that she takes considerable pride in her work and goes the extra mile for her customers. I've purchased a car from here. On inspection of the vehicle I found it was missing a part (cup holder), it was also due a service in the next 1,000 miles. They placed the part on order and called me in to have it fitted free if charge. They also arranged the service the next day. Each time staff have been welcoming and provide a free drink. A cafe is present inside the building which serves hot food and drink. There was no hard sell with the vehicle and insurance extras. I was left to myself to inspect the vehicle. A member of staff came with me on the test drive on a guided route for a few miles. I would buy a vehicle from here again.

My experience of buying from Motorpoint Peterborough has been a mixed and overall disappointing experience. The sales process is easier than other car supermarkets I've used and there was no pressure to buy add-ons such as GAP insurance, warranty, paint protection and finance. The time it took from deciding to buy to driving off was as minimal as the cars are fully prepared for driving away. I was disappointed that my car's service book, handbook and satnav SD card and second key card were not onsite, despite me calling ahead to verify this. I had to ask several times for a note to be added to my invoice to identify that these were to follow on. That said, everything arrived within a week. The much more significant issue was the £99 fee added to my invoice without discussion. This is described as "optional" on the Motorpoint website, but it was not mentioned by the salesman. I was foolish in paying for the car while on the phone to my insurance company and didn't notice the additional amount added. After making payment, I was presented with the invoice which is when I noticed the charge, which is clearly not how the transaction should have been handled. I complained and was told that I would receive a refund of the £99 on the following Monday. That wasn't exactly true. It took three-weeks and numerous calls and emails to get a cheque through. I know that car supermarkets are not known for their aftercare, but taking this long over a simple refund is unacceptable. I heard numerous stories about what was happening which absolutely ruined Motorpoint's credibility for me. My advice is to be explicit about not wanting to pay the £99 fee. It is supposed to get you a HPI certificate (not necessary as if there is outstanding finance it is the dealer's problem), new number plates (they're already on the vehicle and I don't see year-old ones are a problem), valet (it's already received all of the cleaning it's going to get before you see it), pre-delivery inspection (surprising given the significant variance in tyre pressures amongst all four tyres, including five PSI left-to-right on the front), service if due. If I'd done this I would not have had my experience soured by weak aftercare. The good news is that their stock of nearly-new cars is easy to chose from and condition is generally good. Just go in with your eyes open and check everything at every stage.

Picked up my new Mercedes from Motorpoint on the 20.10.17. WOW what a nightmare!!! (Don't judge at this point) What could have gone wrong went wrong (wait for it folks!!) IT WAS CERTAINLY NOT MOTORPOINT'S fault in anyway. All interfacing parties to the deal went wrong. for example the DVLA site had crashed to name a few. The result of all the problems (and there were many) meant that the hand over of my car took 4 hours!!! instead of about half an hour. NOW HERE'S THE GOOD BIT. The staff worked tirelessly to overcome every problem that happened which was no fault of Motorpoint at all. As a result, the team at Motorpoint moved heaven and earth to get my car cleared through their system and handed over to me, and they achieved it. I can only say what FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT FROM AN AMAZING TEAM. I would like to add a great big thank you to Dawson, Gary, Keith, Simmy (whoops, if that's how you spell it) and also Jack who was running about like a mad man trying to make things run smooth. So a great big extra thank you to you JACK!! Without doubt this team go the extra mile when it comes to customer service. One more thing, this is not the first time I have used Motorpoint and we are already looking at another car for my wife (her second car from Motorpoint).
