What can I say about Sycamore BMW, I searched for a few years to find the right spec of 430d. Once I spotted this one I emailed straight away and recieved a personal walk around of my now car by Zack. Living in N.Ireland and not getting a drive in that exact car I trusted Zack to the fullest on his advice. Zack was the most polite, down to earth salesman I have ever dealt with. Nothing was to much. I asked about a performance pack being added, Zack knew the look I was after and nailed it with what I got. My car looks awesome.The team at Sycamore BMW excelled themselves, in every way possible, right down to picking me and my partner up from the train station. BMW M480 24hr Test Drive report With the familiar kidney-shaped radiator grille and modern front styling the first impression was that the car showed a really bold almost aggressive appearance. However, when you move around the vehicle and look at the whole, then it is a sleek aerodynamic coupe clearly capable of everything you need from a true performance GT. The driving experience was quite simply outstanding. To be able to combine such a level of performance whilst returning something approaching 30mpg is most impressive. 24hrs was not long enough to really explore to the full all the secrets the car holds. The main take-aways were: The precise feeling of the steering which combined with lane control gave a reassuring sense of security. The head-up display was visible at all times but never intrusive, and allowed full attention to be paid to the road when it was needed. The adaptive headlights were most impressive, giving a powerful but accurately focussed light. Internally the design allowed adequate leg-room for rear seat passengers, whilst somehow leaving room for a cavernous boot. Loads of space for luggage, but quite a high lip to lift items over. The i-drive system is intuitive and really easy to use from a driver’s point of view. BMW Sycamore Peterborough have been immense from the first point I walked into their forecourt. I have been blown away by the service from everyone I have met, from Sara in reception, to Edmond with the sale, Neil with the Finance, Rose with extra options I needed and Zack who looked after me and spent so much time explaining all the mod cons of my new car. Truly love the service from Sycamore BMW, this is the opposite of what I got from another premium vehicle vendor in Peterborough. Edmond has been amazing all the way through from the point I came in a few years before and didn't even buy a car. The care and attention he has for customers is an asset to Sycamore. Another shout out needs to go to Neil, who did so much to be able to get me the best deal for me. We’ve just had an incredibly helpful interaction with the Sycamore Motorrad Team in Peterborough. As always, we developed problems two days before embarking on an 8 week motorcycle tour of Europe. Garry fixed our Comms & GPS’s within a a 1 day turnaround, Dan posted our Canbus:USB leads as promised, Lynn solved the issue (with advice from a technician who’s name I don’t know) with one of the bikes not starting. Another member of the team (who rides a Kawasaki!) solved our issue with the Canbus not working on the the second bike bike. All of this was solved over the phone and without having to ride a long round trip to Peterborough. You’re the BEST BMW Motorrad Team that we’ve experienced in 40 years of riding BMW’s! AMAZING IAN! We went into the showroom to see what used cars were available and were greeted by Ian. He made the entire visit a pleasure for us. At no point did we feel pressured in to buying any specific car, instead we were left to browse at our leisure, and he happily answered all of our questions patiently and without making us feel like we were being rushed, despite the showroom being extremely busy. Car prepared and delivered all paperwork done , remote buying was so easy with video presentation which was as good as being there . I purchased an Approved Used BMW from Sycamore BMW Peterborough in early February 2020 (pre COVID-19 changes to car showroom processes). The overall experience was very positive. My initial contact was through an enquiry I made via the main BMW Approved Used website. The response from the Sales Executive (Edmond Lleshi) was very quick. Eddie was very helpful throughout, answering any questions we had and providing us with a video walk-around of the car including specifics I had asked about. This was reassuring given that we would be travelling a long distance to view the car. Eddie provided a fair price for the trade-in we made and we reserved the car to collect at a later date. Generally pleased with the experience through Sycamore, just feel a little let down having spent over £40,000 on a car less than 6 months old with less than 2,000 miles on the clock that once home and within 4 days of purchase I noticed a "ding" to the drivers door panel. I was offered to return the car to have it looked at and potentially put right, but as the round trip is close to 4 hours with god knows how long spent waiting around this is not viable! To get the work done at my convenience I would guess would be no more than £50, using a "dent" professional, this was not offered to make the overall experience a better one! Initially the experience was positive and I gave good feedback to the sales executive who assisted me. I purchased an X2 and traded in my 1 series. I was told the trade in value was reduced as I had one oil service that was not at a BMW garage. As such my 1 series could not be re-sold at Sycamore and would have to be passed to another retailer. I was rather surprised when I subsequently discovered the car for sale on the Sycamore Website as BMW approved. In any business transaction trust is paramount and I do think it was disingenuous of the dealership to say they could not sell my car and to subsequently do so. I would welcome the dealership to get in contact with me and offer an explanation.

Recently made a purchase at BMW SYCAMORE. From start to finish I felt incredibly welcomed even in this difficult time with Covid restrictions. Hand sanitiser, masks and a really fancy temperature reading machine all readily available for you before entering the show room. This was my first “new car” purchase from a main dealer so was somewhat apprehensive as I’ve heard the stories of not being acknowledged or looked down on and as a young adult myself I can honestly say this for me wasn’t the case, I was immediately greeted and passed on to a very well presented chap called Brad Forrest after having a brief chat about ourselves, both local to Peterborough we got onto the details of the type of cars I was looking into and what I was hoping to spend Brad had a look into what was available directly on site and what was comparable to what I was looking at, after having found a model I was interested in an “F32 440i” spoke briefly about pricing and wether I could see myself driving this car daily I was offered a test drive of which I gladly took, upon arriving back with an enormous grin from ear to ear at this point I knew the car was for me, but opted for the smart decision to go away and think about it. Driving around looking at a few other garages and cars to no acknowledgement or simply nothing that fit the bill, after an hour or two passing by I noticed I received an email from Brad with a personalised video giving me a tour of the/my vehicle a simple but amazing touch, I showed family and friends the video, and before I knew it just hours after walking into the show room I found myself walking back in ready to make a purchase after ironing out the finer details of PCP/HP which brad ran me through the pros and cons we settled on a deal was introduced to the finance chap called mike, who ran through the whole process in no time at all, having a chat and some banter along the way and less than 5 hours after walking in I had now officially purchased my new car. I was fully kept up to date through the whole process from start to finish and I hope brad won’t mind me saying, but he actually ran over a nail and punctured a tyre, now rather than not telling me and just plugging the tyre I had a brand new replacement fitted free of charge and was informed, honesty goes a long way with me and that’s what you’re looking for when buying a new car its trust and honesty, I honestly can’t recommend these guys enough from the individuals I dealt with to the showroom itself I won’t have any issues referring any friends or family to SYCAMORE PETERBOROUGH Bravo to them! I have had cars through the Motability scheme since 1998. My present car is a BMW Active Tourer Plug in Hybrid. The experience I have had from Sycamore BMW Peterborough is the best ever. Paul Abbot, the Motability salesman, has been absolutely fantastic. I was supposed to pick my car up at the end of March but the lockdown put paid to that, but Paul kept me informed at every step as I was in the shielded group, I had to shied till the 1st August so it was a long wait, I have never in all this time had this sort of experience with any other Motability dealers. Everything was gone through including the adaptions. Paul sorted out for me to go to the adaptation company to find out what was the best hoist, push pull adaption etc for my needs and that would fit in the car I had chosen. I have never had this sort of experience before. Normally it’s what car do you want, colour, fittings and that’s it. Some of the things I had wanted were not suitable for the car so I would have been landed with things that were no good for me for 3 years . I would recommend going to this dealership and to see Paul Abbot because he is the nicest and the most helpful person I have ever had to deal with. I live in Sheffield so it was a long way to go to Peterborough but it was well worth the journey. I do hope this review helps other people decide where they want to go to get their next BMW Motability car. Even if you have to drive 2 hours to get there. It is well worth it.

He really had me sussed in seconds where other more hubristic salesmen were doing their best to avoid me. After being treated terribly by another BMW dealer I looked on BMW's website to find another car and good dealer. From the first contact with NATHAN OWEN, who sent us a personal video of the car we purchased to the day we signed the paper work this dealer has been honest, friendly and went out of their way so we could purchase our new car. Every time we have contacted them everyone was so friendly and helpfully and it was always nice to have a chat with Faye on reception, plus if Nathan wasn't available he always got the message and phoned or emailed back .We live nearly 270 miles away and we were concerned if everything would be ok, but everything went as they promised. On arrival we were nicely greeted and offered a coffee which was nice after our long journey and our car was ready to go in their hand over bay. Hmm, not too sure, difficult to judge. The reception I received from the service department was a little distant, not the most welcoming, a bit like they were trying to get rid of you asap so I forgot to mention something they needed to know. I'll put it down to the Covid regulations. Difficult times some may say but only difficult if you allow it to be. Just been back to collect the car, the service I received this time was received was very efficient but still a little clinical.

I had my M140i serviced at Sycamore BMW today. The service reception staff were friendly and attentive however I wanted to feedback a few points. Firstly, whilst my car was in for a service, it was taken over to the Sycamore body shop to have a alloy wheel repaired. I can’t fault the work, the alloy looks great. The only issue was that the tyre was massively over inflated. Should be 2.3 bar. The tyre was showing 3 bar on the screen! Quite a big difference so I had to adjust. Secondly, at this point I noticed that the rest of the alloy wheels hadn’t been cleaned when I did ask for the car to be washed. The body work had been cleaned but for some reason they didnt touch the wheels. Not a major problem but I’d expect better from a main dealer. Lastly, my dash cam had been disconnected and not reconnected upon collecting the car. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I bought this up with the service department so was disappointed that again they turned off camera and not bothered to put it back on. Apparently all dash cameras are switched off under their data protection rules. I certainly don’t think the dealer has anything to hide but I would prefer it was connected protecting my car whilst it’s under their care even after it’s been into the workshop. Sarah the service manager did apologise for this. The car service was fine otherwise and I had a new Mini Clubman for the day (thanks to Duane In sales for sorting out.)
