I bought my 1 Series BMW with Chico’s back in April and it’s been so reliable and brilliant, I have had no problems. When I arrived to test drive the car, my partner noticed a chip in the windscreen, however Josh at Chico’s was a great help and got this sorted for me, all costs covered by them. I took the car home that day, and National Windscreens came to my house to replace the windscreen within a few days. I have had no faults with the car, and my finance payments were set up quickly with Josh, absolutely no issues at all. Great car sales garage, would highly recommend. Josh was so helpful (and I wasn’t the easiest of customers!) he was very patient with the 101 questions I had😂😊

I spotted a lovely looking Hyundai i40 on the auto trader website at Chicos of Plymouth. Made an initial inquiry and spoke to Josh who explained that the car had only recently been put on their forecourt and was going to have the alloy wheels refurbished. I drove from Barnstaple to have a look at the vehicle and was very impressed with how immaculately clean and tidy it was inside and out. Took it for a test drive with Josh who was very knowledgeable about all the gadgets in the car. We done a deal with my old volvo as px. Went back a week later to pick it up, alloys looking like new, full mot done and even oil and filter changed although it already had full Hyundai service history. I would definitely recommend Chicos and wouldn't hesitate at giving Josh a call when I'm ready for a next update.

Very good experience of purchasing a used car from Chicos, because of the restrictions in place I thought it would be a real pain to view and buy, but when I called I was given an appointment time and the car was placed in a car park next to the courtyard, I was never under any pressure to buy and Phil never gave me any hard sales talk and not just because of social distancing. Overall the car I bought and the buying experience was excellent, The transaction was completely paperless but don't let that put you off as even that was easy. I bought a lovely Astra from Phil at Chicos who was absolutely brilliant. I had the choice of 2 cars and explained my needs.... he could have.sold me the more expensive car but he didnt. I was grateful for this. We did have a teething problem on the day I collected the car but Phil personally came to my aid and bought another car for me to use whilst my issue was sorted out. It only took a couple of days to fix and this was during storm Eunice so expected a long delay. Other half's car had been written off by a drunk driver so needed to replace it. Popped into Chicos for a look round, saw a VW Golf that interested us. Josh was fantastic, answered any questions we had, booked in a test drive a couple of days later and paid the deposit. Car was booked into be serviced and made ready, Josh kept us updated with timescales. Collected the car as agreed. Had a slight issue with a reversing light the next morning but Josh got us sorted and it was fixed within the hour. The guys at the garage were spot on, no mucking about. Got it fixed straight away along with some brilliant advice on my other car. Cannot recommend these guys enough! 👌👍

I recently bought a car from Chico and the service I received here was excellent. The car unfortunately has a slight issue when driving home after purchase, however they reassured me that they would have it looked at and fixed as a priority. The next day I drove back up and they gave me a courtesy car straight away while they took mine to the garage. 4 hours later they let me know the car was fixed and as they promised the car is now running perfectly. I had a great experience with Chico's garage. After searching for cars in the Cornwall area I came across Chico's through Google & Auto Trader and was attracted by their wide range of cars and excellent customer reviews. I purchased a second hand car which was in excellent condition, had full service history and was valeted and MOT'd before collection. I received a very high standard of service right from my initial enquiry on the car, through to my visit & test drive, and then when purchasing and collecting the vehicle. The staff here are friendly, professional and knowledgable, I dealt with 3 different members of staff with one having worked at the garage for 21 years. This typifies the level of staff working at the garage. Finally, the garage is conveniently located in Plymouth not far from main routes into the City, and I cannot recommend this garage enough after my recent experience.

My intentions when i purchased my 2012 TD Mazda 6 Tourer 2.2 TS2 was to have it for a year and then give a review, rather than reviewing within weeks or a few months when used cars from dealers can be good for a short period. So here goes. I actually purchased my Mazda 6 on the 8th October 2018. The first time i went along to Chico's was to have a look at the Mazda itself having come across it online. An email exchange in setting up a viewing and test drive was simple with a quick response from Phil. Test drive did not go as great as I wanted due to the drivers seat being faulty. It was not attached to the floor. Because of this I arranged with Phil to have it sorted so i could go along another day for a 2nd drive. This time it went well. From the outset, I found Phil and team to be very welcoming but not pushy in any way. Having had a very positive 2nd test drive I decided to buy the car. I did haggle the price down a little, (£100) and asked that two new tyres be fitted to the front, Phil was very accommodating. The whole transaction went very smoothly, the drivers seat itself was fixed, Phil having made sure the garage ordered a part to get it done. The initial mend was a temporary fix to allow me to test drive the 2nd time. The car since i have had it has been superb. I bought it with just over 74,000 miles on the clock and have since done 10,000 miles in it. I have done journeys from my home in Devon to Cornwall, twice, a trip to Gatwick and back as well as to South Wales and it has driven well. Short journeys excellent too. I have recently had a full service done locally and the mechanic commented on it being a decent car with the underneath being in good condition. And today of typing this review I have had it pass its MOT with no issues. But i have had to have two new front tyres. I went by the cars info regarding tyre pressure which I have since found out is not ideal, hence tyre wear on outer and inner edges (under inflated). Phil did give me a 1st MOT free voucher on purchase of the car, but with me having to drive 40 odd mile from home to Chico's garage I thought it was not worth it with fuel and logistics due to my work hours. So all in all, Chico's seems to be a decent used car dealership. Phil is a really decent chap, no hard sell or pressure from him. He's very confident in selling the cars they get. I tried haggling for more money off than the £100 but he would not budge, with a confidence that the car would have gone within a week or so if i didn't have myself. The only negative I will say is this. Having looked at the same model car, same year and same sort of mileage, I believe I did pay over the odds. I have also come across newer models of the Mazda 6 for cheaper prices. I believe I may have paid £500 - £800 more than it was actually worth, but that is my opinion and in no way do i want my personal opinion to put anyone off buying a car from Chico's, as I would certainly purchase another vehicle from there if ever I was looking for another car. And for anyone interested in Mazda's, i can say that they are a great car, fun to drive, and my 2012 Tourer is one of the best looking estate cars on the road. It also drives like a saloon. What I will say though is that the paint work is not the best. They chip and scratch really easy. But mechanically they seem sound.
