NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED
We wanted to leave it a week before we left a review on our new MG5 EV so we could give our honest opinion. The car is very intuitive and fantastic to drive, the car has a good balance between space, range and quality, and we are very happy that we chose the MG5 from all the others that we viewed that was within our budget. The main factor that clinched the deal was it was an estate.
The customer service we recieved from Tony Hunt who dealt with our initial enquiry, showed us around the car and answered all our questions, including how long the wait would be till we would receive the MG5 was second to none.
Tony was friendly and professional from our enquiry to the purchase, from start to finish. Tony kept us up to date with delivery times and was only a week or so of his estimated date of delivery.
Would I recommend Rodgers of Plymouth MG? Yes I would. They were friendly, professional and their communication exceeded our expectations.
Would I recommend the MG5 EV long range? If you looking for a good blance of space, range and quality at a budget, then yes I would. We have two dogs and two disabled children one that requires a wheel chair so It being an estate clinched the deal for us.

We pass here all the time went in once when it was owned by someone else first time in now owned by Rodgers. We bought a car from another branch of Rodgers a few years ago and had brilliant service.
We were looking round and Scott approached us and asked if he could help said just looking, asked if anything in mind said automatic so he said you are stood next to one and got a couple of others said the others looked small whereas tivoli estate was just right. Husband joined me and said it wouldn't be for a couple of months so Scott said just keep an eye on line and if there was anything I wanted to try sitting in to see if I could get in and out of easier just let him know and they'd bring it over for us. Husband asked if he had a card which he went and got. Very helpful not pushy.

As a taxi driver I change my vehicle every 4 5 years I’ve dealt with many Dealerships and most dealerships will bend over backwards to help you i feel that Rogers of Plymouth are not that Helpful For example the logbook came with the wrong name On it they could of Offered to send it back but no I’ve Gotta do it myself just little things like that it’s not a lot but I think I could’ve done that specially when you spent £64,000 thanks Tony

We have had our new MG HS PHEV for almost a week now and we are very pleased with it. It is smooth, quiet, comfortable and responsive, actually a bit nippier than I had expected.
Being a first time hybrid owner, there were a few things to get used to and I had a stream of questions for Tony Hunt that he quickly answered for me.

I bought an Audi A3 from Rodgers of Plymouth about two months ago. The salesman who took mw through the process was very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the clutch on the first day of owning the car. I was given a very nice SUV to use whilst theybgixed the issue. Not sure if it was already on its way out, the foot mat was resting on the clutch or driver error. Either way they replaced the clutch along with the fly wheel at no cost to myself which I was very happy with. Unfortunately they didn't use any lock tight when they reattached the driveshaft it came loose around 7 weeks later. As they were the last to touch the driveshaft the AA escorted me back to the garage and I left it until the next morning. This is the only negative thing I will say in the way they dealt with their mistake. I was never given an apology for the driveshaft failing which luckily didn't happy down the A38 but did ruin my night and plans for the next day, nor offered a courteousy car or compensation for me having to go back and forth. I would still say they are a great place to go for a new or used car, but that lack of an apology for my wasted time and money did lower my opinion on their aftersales service somewhat.

The toilets could do with a clean and paint to freshen them up. The building could also do with a bit of maintenance as there is grass growing inside of the building and Windows could do with a clean around At the waiting area. This would put potential buyers off in my opinion If the dealerships building's not up to much
