Took our Nissan Juke automatic to Vospers Nissan, Plymouth for its 2nd service and to look at a severe flat spot when pulling away. The service was quite expensive at £349, but we were pleased with the way the service was done, the reception staff and the courtesy car.
The flat spot on pulling away we learned was a known common problem with new Juke automatic. The mechanic carrying out the service made some adjustments, which he said should have cured the problem. It does seem to have reduced the flat spot but unfortunately in its place the take up on pulling away can be very sharp instead of being a smooth pick up like all the other automatics we have driven. We were advised that Nissan are well aware of the Juke's automatic gearbox problem and it was something we should take up direct with them ourselves. As it's a common problem that Nissan are aware of it's a shame Vospers, as a Nissan dealer doesn't have a system set up whereby they can refer the customers complaint direct to Nissan UK who can add the car to their list of cars with the same problem.

It was very easy to book a service for our Qashquai, the phone was answered very quickly and I got a next day slot. We were offered a courtesy car (Nissan Leaf automatic, which was a lovely drive and nice to try out an electric car. Within 3 hours I got a text message to let me know that all was fine with my car then a phone call to let me know that it was ready to collect. Very helpful in explaining why we should consider full electric over plug-in hybrid. Also liked the fact that at handover every button and switch was explained, but to be honest we could do with a refresher now that we have had the car a few weeks - I'm sure there is a lot more it can do than we know.
Disappointed that whilst we agreed to a service contract at the outset, we would have been better to wait a day or 2 as we received an email offering us a free hotel stay if we signed up online for a service contract. However Kevin at Nissan has successfully challenged this for us. He has also been brilliant in helping us understand public charging systems for slightly longer journeys as well as answering other questions we had.

After sending an email to Nissan registering my interest in a new model car I was emailed the following day asking for my phone number to have a chat about what they can offer.
We established what car I wanted and went on a test drive the following week.
I was aware of the chip shortage and knew I could have been in for a long wait for the car to arrive.
Caitlin was honest and upfront at all times about the lead time on the vehicle and a month after the original order I just drove my new car off of the forecourt.

Booked my car in for a safety recall and they fitted me in with a waiting window instead of having to drop the car off and come back later which was great. The work was carried out in around an hour and whilst there, the staff were all professional and very courteous, with numerous offers of hot drinks and also kept checking back on me whilst I was waiting. I have high levels of anxiety so I did have mixed expectations beforehand, but these were none existent from the time I entered the Nissan building, as for the reasons mentioned above.

Caitlyn made this lockdown experience a dream. She helped me narrow down which model I needed for my requirements (I am a heated seat fan, amongst other things).
Once ordered she kept me apprised of the delivery date and we set up a collection date that suited my plans.
On the day she was very informative about the car and it's quirks _ no handbrake in the traditional sense, now I use my foot and auto brake/ park. It didn't take long getting used to it. She was good to point out useful shortcuts to set up auto lights and wipers, the little things you need immediately in this country's weather.
Overall Caitlyn made this one of the best car purchases ever. She was friendly informative and happy to help in any way. I am delighted with the car , it's a great drive.

I never give a five star! The car was pre-booked in for a manufacturer recall to replace a faulty part. Staff were welcoming and I was sorted quickly, then settled down to read the paper with a nice cup of coffee. Car was completed within the window given, which was pleasing. However, I was informed they had carried out a free visual check and a low coolant level was recorded on the documentation. I new it could not be as the car had been MOT and serviced two weeks ago! On getting home I checked the coolant level and it is just below the max mark!? They also never pointed out that two of the tyres are legal but within the range of an advisory. This is exactly why my wife and I stopped using Vospers when they took on the Nissan franchise. We will still have to use Vospers for the next two years as the new car, as part of the purchase agreement is to be serviced by Vospers. The garage we take the old car, the mechanic takes time to talk to directly about what me has found or not found and the explain it in layman's terms. This gives you confidence in there workmanship. To be told by a showroom person, who may or may not know the difference between a gasket and a grommet, doesn't inspire confidence!!! Just saying. Thanks!
