I have undertaken 100 mile round trips to visit this dealership for purchase, service and warranty repairs for nearly 10 years spanning 3 cars and couldn't recommend them highly enough. When paying premium prices I do expect premium service and Bowker Preston have always met this expectation or gone above and beyond. Most recently their i3 specialist, Harold, has provided incredible service that is a credit to their dealership.

My X5 went in to bowker Preston for a few recall jobs and thought I would be getting the car back the same day however they called to mention another fault they have found which can’t be completed until the new parts arrive so it had to stay overnight. Had no way of getting to work next day however Emma from the service department was really helpful and provided me with a courtesy car without even me asking for one. Only issue I had was I was told my car would be ready by 12-30 as I had left my car the previous day so when I arrived at 2-30 it took 20 minutes for someone to locate my car and bring it round to reception

Having seen the motorcycle I wanted online at Bowker Motorrad in Preston, I contacted the dealership and spoke to Mark Christopher. Mark was extremely courteous, knowledgable and prompt in responding to my various questions and numerous eMails. Being so far away from my home (230 miles), I was not sure whether to use this dealer or not, but the service I received was the clincher for me. Today, Mark arrange for Stu to deliver my motorcycle to an agreed services station north of Birmingham. Stu had as much time as I needed to learn the essentials (me being new to a BMW) and was very thorough during the handover. What stood out was the condition of the motorcycle when Stu removed it from the delivery van.. it was immaculately prepared - in fact, it looked like a brand new machine - the level of detail to prepare it was amazing.

My 535D was due a Major service and already had full BMW service history before I purchased it earlier this year so I wanted to keep that up.
I called up to book an appointment for the service on Tuesday and luckily they had had a cancellation for Wednesday Morning, I also needed a courtesy car as I use the car to commute 6 days a week.
I was dealt with by Freya who is by all accounts one of the most polite and helpful service advisors I have ever dealt with( being in the motor trade myself I've dealt with plenty)
Nothing was too much trouble she kept me well updated at every stage and made the experience fantastic.
Thank you again and I will 100% be coming back when my car is due its next service :)

Previous review wording... Just no interest in selling cars from my experience, no call back to test drive an x3. As a car lover I love a good chat about cars but having a conversation here was like getting blood out of a stone. Came to look at an i3 recently and I felt like I was an inconvenience. I've ended up buying a brand new x3 elsewhere and collecting a used i3 this week from elsewhere.

Took my M140I into Bowkers Preston yesterday for a major service and couldn't fault them at all, the receptionist was very pleasant and as soon as my details were taken I was seen to by the service team within a matter of minutes. Natasha was super helpful and explained everything that was going to be done on my car, I was given an new120D as a courtesy car for the day and was called when the work was completed and I received a health check video too. Absolutely Amazing Service!!! Purchased a BMW 320D from here from Andrew Hume. Really friendly guy, after taking it home and washing the vehicle I noticed 2 small niggles, rang up Andrew who invited me back down and both rectified very quickly! Everyone in the dealership is amazing! The receptionists are lovely and welcoming, the valeters are soo king and even polished my windscreen. Recently purchased a Mini Cooper privately and thought I had a coolant leak. The team at Bowker got the car in pretty much straight away for me and allowed me to leave it with them a couple of days before it was booked in due to work commitments. They quoted me a price beforehand which I was happy with however once the work was completed they reduced the invoice due to it not taking as long as they thought and parts coming in cheaper. What garage does that? Bowker does! A massive shout out to Terry. Terry spent a good 20mins on the phone with me answering all my questions and explaining not only the issues but how they would rectify, thanks again Terry and thank you Bowker!

Purchased my used BMW from Bowker in Feb. Ran over used warranty by a few days but they agreed to complete full service as a gesture of good will if I could return the vehicle to them. Having only covered about 300 miles in it since purchase I felt this was acceptable and although quite a drive from home it was certainly worth it. Just collected and returned the hire car I was provided with. Just to update. Bought Luxury Active Tourer in April with 12 months Guarantee and in June reported an obnoxious smell from the ventilation/ac system. Checked under bonnet and no sign that anything had crawled in and died. Phoned Bowker to be told that they could sanitize the system for £39.99. or put it on their diagnostics for £?. I would have thought that if you buying a used car it would have been sanitised as a matter of course, especially with Covid! And what about the Guarantee? Sorry Bowker you have just gone down in my esteem. Is this a case of false promises to get the sale or are they as good as their word. remains to be seen?
Looking to replace my Ford Focus and having been to Evans Halshaw, the main ford dealer, to look at buying a Kuga just to be ignored I decided to look at a BMW. Chris, one of the sales team asked if he could help and I had already decide on the car I fancied. Went through the pros and cons with Chris and he asked if we like a test drive but he would be unable to accompany us because of Covid precautions. We went through Penwortham on the A59, onto the Golden Way, A6528 and then doubled back to the Bowkers. Chris saw our return and came straight out to greet us and discuss the test drive. I pointed out a couple of things and went inside to discuss a deal. Chris was very attentive and efficient and felt he had our best interests at heart. The wife and I decided to go home and discuss the offer at home when the adrenalin had stopped pumping and we were not star struck. Phoned Chris later and told him we would be buying the car. I had contacted lots of dealers nation wide for quotes for my Titanium Focus and Bowkers topped them all and a little extra. I found all the staff extremely helpful, efficient and knowledgeable but a special thanks to Chris who made the whole process flow and never pressured us.

Enjoy viewing cars at the forecourt and showroom while my car is being checked or for service and MOT... However, it had a leak while the car was still under warranty on the seals of the driver side door. They did fix the problem but after a month, I noticed there is a small puddle onnthe driver side mat. So I took it in for a check. This was just out of it's warranty by few days to a week if I remember. Once they checked it for about an hour they couldn't find any leaks and it cost me a lot of money just to check it

I had been extremely excited to collect my new BMW from Bowker for some time, so to my satisfaction when the big day came I arrived to see my new car immaculate in a well lit handover room all on its own!
I was greeted kindly and led strait to the car with my beaming child like face in toe. I was amazed to walk in to a clearly very well thought out handover bay with my name on the screen and an enthusiastic product genius waiting with my keys.
I was guided through the functions and features of my car with every question answered, I felt content and it wasn't a patronising experience in the slightest.
Down to the paperwork, which took no longer than 10 minutes with an appropriately informal delivery, I was on my way!
I would definitely recommend Bowker to anybody interested in a BMW, the entire process from start to finish, not to mention the collection of my car, was brilliant.

Recently had diagnostic checks completed on my Z4. I'd been informed that this could be 20-30 minute job (it actually took only 15 minutes and the fault was rectified immediately). I was prepared to travel the 150 miles from Cotswolds, as knew I could trust in the quality and professionalism delivered from both the sales and service teams. Knowledgable staff (salesman name was Tom Murphy) you pay a bit more for your pre owned car but they do go through it and make sure everything that needs replaced gets replaced with genuine BMW parts and you get a 12 month warranty so can't say anything bad about them. And on a personnel note they have an M1 on the showroom floor always nice to see a bit of history and the modern evolution on the same floor

We have bought 2 BMWs from Bowker, both BMW x3s. I have to say that our first purchase was rather tainted by cancer treatment. We were treated very well and respectfully. Although the salesman Chris sold us the car, our relationship for the sale was with Simon Naylor. Who is responsible for financing cars sold there.
We bought a second car from Bowker as the first one we bought did not really tick all of the boxes we needed ticked.
Simon sourced us a car that had all the toys on it we wanted with very low miles.
