We don't buy a new car often so going to a dealership made us a little anxious.We needn't have worried, however, as we were greeted by a friendly and very helpful Sales advisor (Tim Farrow) who immediately put us at ease and gave us time to look at the car we were interested in. There was a lot of tech that we hadn't come across before and Tim was very patient in explaining everything. At no time did we feel under pressure but we did end up buying it! Again, Tim took us through the process efficiently and professionally. We now have our new car and we are delighted with it. Recently dealt with Dave the salesman. Hawkins I believe his surname is? Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. I sent an email to ask to go and look around, Dave called me the same day and we discussed my requirements. I was initially looking at the Peugeot 2008. Dave said he'd have both the 2008 and 3008 version available for me me to look at. I went in the following day and met Dave who was super friendly and knowledgeable. A genuinely nice guy. After looking at both versions I decided I preferred the 3008 version so Dave showed me one in the showroom, there was no rush and he answered all of my questions. We then went on a test drive and it confirmed I'd made the right decision with the 21 plate 3008. Back to the showroom and Dave made some phonecall to source a car as it had to be brand new, I chose my colour in a metallic crystal dark grey/silver with upgraded pack as that's what I'd fallen in love with 😊. Dave explained there was a national shortage due to I think it was a chip or something and many were on new build from the manufacturers with 4 to 5 months wait time. I'm not that patient and after falling for the car was desperate to get one earlier. Dave was amazing and made some phonecall and managed to get me one to be delivered to the showroom 2 weeks later. After leaving he called me later that afternoon to give me the reg number. He rang me several times to keep me updated and on collection day when I arrived there was my beautiful shiny new car ready and waiting. Dave showed me around it, even setting up my phone. All this despite him getting soaked as it was pouring down with rain. The following day Dave rang as a courtesy call to check I was happy with my new car. Overall I had an excellent experience with Robins and Day Peugeot dealers in Preston but especially with Dave and would highly recommend them, in fact I've already done so to friends getting a new car in the near future. I hope the managers realise what an asset to the company he is. No pushiness, no sales patter, just honest and professional service from a genuinely helpful and friendly salesman.

Had my 3008 serviced and MOT'd was provided with the requested courtesy car which was a new 208 ( always nice to try a different car) and for a change it had plenty of fuel in it. at 9:I5am I was on my way home after being told my car would be ready about 3 PM. After a bout 3 hours I received a video of th underside of my car together with a description of the condition of the tyres, exhaust and brakes. almost on the dot of 3:00pm I received a call to say my car was ready to be collected. Ordered brand new Peugeot in September 2021 after being offered a test drive on browsing. Tim was the salesman who dealt with me and he has been great throughout my purchase. He was up front and honest about the delays in building new vehicles currently and worked with me to find a package and vehicle trim within my budget. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Tim called me several times to update on the progress at the factory and provide approximate delivery dates with a hope I'd have my new car before the end of the year. He was on target and I picked up my new car between Christmas and New Year. The handover was great and made so easy with the part exchange of my old vehicle. I dropped off my car yesterday to have a full service and the battery looked at (it had been playing up for weeks). Not only was my car sorted and fixed for far less than I expected but the customer service start to finish was excellent! Lukasz Wlazlo was brilliant and very accomodating in arranging my appointment. Equally, Conor Burke discussed with me on arrival exactly what was going to happen. He told me how much the work might potentially cost and arranged for a phone review later on in the day to inform me of the technician's findings and results. A well presented showroom on the main road, initially i was confused by the parking layout as i wasn't sure if i should stop on the front or not but i soon was the rear parking which was easiy accessible if a little tight. Overall we were pleased with the attention Kathryn gave us in the process of viewing, test driving and completing the paperwork involved in the purchase of the car. The one disappointing aspect of the preparation of the NEW car, was the poor preparation of the engine compartment - i.e. no preparation. There were pieces of leaves in all the gutters and the engine area would have benefited from a wipe over with either a damp or oily rag.
