I recently brought a VW Tiguan from Garland Motors. The purchase experience was perfect, not pushy, instead straight talking, knowledgeable and fair. Then roll on a few weeks and my car starting making a strange noise. (It was the cambelt). They took it straight in, at my convenience, gave me a courtesy car and got it fixed without any fuss whatsoever under the warranty. I’m so glad I brought from a local garage as the whole experience has been faultless. Thanks to Nigel and Sean.

2021 review - We've just picked up our 2nd car in 20 months from Nigel at Garland Motors we're now the proud owners of a 2018 Mini Clubman. I really enjoyed my experience with Garland Motors and would definitely go to them again for part exchange/finance. There were a couple of very minor niggles such as a slight delay in collecting the new car, but the staff were so apologetic and polite that it doesn’t affect the experience for me. Great customer service throughout. Never did I once feel like I was being “ripped off” or patronised (which I have experienced before at other garages as a young woman trying to arrange a part ex!) and both Shaun and Nigel were so friendly and reassuring at every stage. Absolutely amazing customer service from Garland Motors, I have had two cars from this garage now and both experiences were great. They are family run business and are very fair. Both cars were made absolutely spotless before I picked them up, all scratches and dents removed and no little details were ignored. The cars were put through a full MOT and all the recommended changes were addressed before I collected the car. Can't say enough good things about the service I got here at Garland Motors. I personally don't know a lot about cars but Shaun was very helpful and informative. There was no pushy salesman trying to just get a deal over the line but someone who genuinely wanted to make sure I got the car I fully wanted. They were very patient with me, taking me through all my options and the process. I ended up with an immaculate Ford Focus Estate with everything I asked for and more! They made sure it was fully up to scratch and did all the necessary checks to make sure it worked perfectly. they even went through all the aspects of the car to make sure I was getting the most from my purchase. Just writing to say these guys at Garland Motors are great, I went to look at a car at Garland Motors last weekend the car was faultless well presented and exactly what I wanted, so I paid a deposit to keep the car, that night my existing car was meant to be sold but I was let down at the last moment and without the sale could not afford change my car, on Sunday I called and spoke to Nigel to explained that I could no longer buy the car, what a guy he told me not to worry and said he would see what he could do his end and I would see if I could sell my car my end, so we left it for a few days, I still have been unable to sell the car which is a bit of a specialist car, so I called back and again spoke to Nigel who was once again excellent and that he would refund my deposit straight away which he didn’t have to do, I have dealt with these guys before as I got my wife’s car from Garland Motors last year, she is still over the moon with her purchase, I will be going back to Garland for my next purchase once my car is sold. Keep up the good work

Really easy comfortable experience buying our focus. We discussed different options and budgets over the phone with no pressure or sales tactics. we just bought our focus ST from garland cars after I saw the car for sale on auto trader. In short we had such a great experience with garland dealing with Nigel and his son Craig. Craig was extremely polite from my first enquiry into the car and I booked in to come View it at the weekend. On arrival We met Nigel who was equally as polite and welcoming and who was aware of who we were and the car we wanted to see and it was waiting for us to look around and take for a drive if we wanted. There was no pressure at any point from anyone at garland and all questions were answered and we did have a lot of them . myself and my wife felt comfortable dealing with garland straight away and at no point felt uncomfortable but instead completely at ease. Garland were Very knowledgable on the car we were buying and answered all our questions and showed us all the gadgets and how they work . When we decided to purchase the vehicle I was offered a fair price for my Car part ex which made the whole experience that much better. The car is absolutely stunning it could of literally come off the factory line that day it’s in such good condition , we are loving our car and will recommend and use this dealer again. The paper work was straight forward thanks to Nigel’s experience and he talked us through each bit even helped us with the tax and re register of my vehicle and the new one.
