I needed assistance with a system warning light on my 2008, Jaguar XF. I dropped into Hendy Jaguar and was greeted by a young Scottish lady, who took my details and even offered me refreshments...my apologies for not getting your name.
I was then helped by Amy, who liased with the service team and in under 5 minutes I was given the full diagnosis of the problem... which thankfully didn't affect my driving, as I have a wedding to go to in Northumberland.
Great service and a wonderful advert for a great company.

Attentive and helpful staff from the reception desk ladies through to the sales staff. My wife and I were offered drinks on arrival and the customer area is clean and modern.
Obviously their aim is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed so that you'll be more likely to buy a car, and it works! We walked in without a booking and were able to look around a particular used car which the salesman brought down to us from a storage area and we were even able take it for a short test drive. Subsequently I returned for a longer test drive, which was easy to arrange and at no point did I feel pressured to buy, although perhaps my silly grin showed no pressure was required!

I was so impressed with the greeting I received as I arrived at the drive in service reception. Paul greeted me like an old friend as he met me with a very cheery "Hello Jim" Absolutely brilliant. Paul then found out that my locking wheel nut was missing and proceeded to search the car for me. He was also joined by Alan who works at service reception. In the mean time Gaby was passing and stopped by to have a quick chat with me. All in all the three persons I had dealings with had courtesy, respect and service excellence. I was very impressed. On top of all that when I received the bill it was only about half of what I expected to have to pay. I can not fault that. Just had my Jaguar XKR serviced and MOT carried out , dropped off in the morning and advised that I would be sent a video update by lunchtime this was received. I was also called by Brian as advised in the morning and told the car was ready for collection & pleased to find all work was finished and vehicle had passed the MOT. Was pleased with the customer care received, especially after the announcement of going into the second lockdown. The whole event from booking, to picking the car up was effortless. A pre-booked courtesy car was available, and waiting. A minor issue with a fault that occurred with my car after collecting it from its service was rectified efficiently. I was kept informed of all works as they were completed, and pricing was fairly competitive to that of independent garages, but the work was completed by the experts. All in all a pleasant experience.

Very professional setup. Had to wait to see/ test drive car due shutdown. All handled very well. P/x of old car was reasonable. Didnt get a personalised guide to all the equipment on the car, again due shutdown. But was given access to numerous you.tube videos to explain it all. Team were receptive to me asking questions. The service was carried out very effectively and efficiently. No work was necessary, the car was cleaned inside and out and was picked up and returned to my house on the same day. The cost (£600) seemed high but I suppose you get what you pay for.

My Jaguar IPace was in the workshop for a software update. Whilst I am happy with the professional services of the technicians and my car was nice and clean on collection, I am a little frustrated by the administrative side of things. A day before the appointment, I received a courtesy call to remind me of the service and ensure I was happy with the COVID procedures. I asked how long the update would take and was assured it would not take long and that they could find me somewhere to wait. On arrival for the appointment At 0925 I was informed that, despite a completely empty showroom and service area, I could not wait at all and that the update was likely to take all day. Annoyed, I had to call my wife to pick me up from 12 miles away and then return me later in the day to collect. What was particularly frustrating was that the car was ready 30 minutes after I got home at around 1100! When I returned to the dealership for collection, there was a family waiting for their car in the main showroom! Incidentally, Snows BMW in Portsmouth allow a few customers to wait while work is done on their cars. Surely this should be possible if the showroom/service area is empty.

Handover very efficient but very much more a process than an experience. All very grey with cafeteria tables & chairs, whilst the bright lights of the showroom with all the new cars to entice (and the coffee bar) lay beyond, hidden by a wall.
Big positive was on collection when, having queried the action taken, the manager and a technician afforded me the time to provide me with an explanation and to ensure that I was content; excellent, well done.

Bought my car from Land Rover and James the sales guy was brilliant managed to get my car in 2 days and went beyond expectations when we arrived spent time with us after and the whole experience was 5star. Had a few teething problems with the car and it had to be sent back 2 times and that’s wen the service dropped the courtesy car given was unsuitable even after being reserved a car they gave it to someone else that morning and was left with a Jaguar XF that was way too big for me to drive so dropped a star for that. All good until they get the money and then your not as important.

Just an MoT and Service, but once again Inchcape impressed - this time with the changes in place to cope with Covid-19 issues. I felt safe at all times; I noted that every effort was being made to keep contact to a minimum, with meeting areas cleaned/disinfected and screens in place. Unfortunately I still had to pay, but suitable arrangements had been made so I didn’t need to worry about forgetting my card’s PIN (from little use of that code over recent months). Only snag was waiting for the disinfectant on the desk to dry enough to sign the paperwork. And plenty of shielding plastic in car when I got to drive off home. Good effort Inchcape!

I visited Inchcape Jaguar in Southampton on the 24th January having previously book a service & M.O.T. A complete front and rear brake pads and discs was carried out due to an advisory from my previous service. The staff was very polite and professional they took care of my car as well as my comfort. As special thank you goes out to Helena whom kept me up to date with not only the progress of my car but also with beverages and snacks. Helena also recommended the White Swan a pub/restaurant nearby where I thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon lunch. My visit was absolutely perfect. Thank you.

Just had my 3-year old XKR serviced & MOT tested at H A Fox. I was very happy with their service. Booking it in was easy, including arranging a loan car for the day. They sent reminders by phone call & text. The reception staff were friendly & courteous, with coffee provided. The car servicing was thorough, including a first class inside & outside valeting, and they explained items which needed to be attended to in future. The service & MOT cost was very reasonable & mostly covered by a service contract which I'd previously bought from them. I am happy to recommend H A Fox, Southampton.

Took delivery of my approved used XF six weeks ago. Very pleased with the car and a good price. Handover was lacklustre keep me waiting at the Station for 30 mins for a prearranged lift, had agreed in advance to pay £4000 in cash but on arrival sales manger insisted that I accompany the salesman to the bank to pay the money in as their safe was full!!. A further wait as they were unable to tax the car online . Delayed by nearly two hours in total. Ive have raised two minor issues which despite repeated chasing have not been resolved. Also not interested in arranging some warranty work in respect of defects that I would of expected picked up on the multipoint used car inspection and told me to contact my local branch of HA Fox. Adrian in sales whilst always pleasant ,polite and makes continual promises but is not prepared to offer real any assistance now he has his sale. Have had better service from car supermarkets so well below the expected standard of a prestige brand main dealer.
Further to my original review Inchcape did contact me. Car subsequently been in to have all minor faults successfully attended to and customer service throughout was second to none. Had this level of service been there from day one then it would been five stars.

Having been sold from your call centre a service and MOT after contacting them for details on sat nav update. I arrived and was greeted by a good team and shown to the loan car, which unfortunately had not been brought round.
I liked the video and agreed to all the upsales because of the discount I was offered, On returning I found the sat nav had not been updated and if I wanted it done it was chargeable, not what the call centre told me!
Also the invoice was £200 more expensive than agreed, although it was corrected, it left a very bad taste

We talked to Nick in Jaguar Sales and then came in to see him, we where after a New Blue. E Pace Dynamic R SE Automatic with a light interior oyster, Nick found one, the only one available.
Nicke saw the best price we where quoted, and matched it but gave a few incentives and was politer and more helpful, his Knowledge and product knowledge was great
He was Polite and friendly, helpful, there was a mix up on the gearbox I wanted an Automatic they quoted for a Manual, but Nick honoured the price for the right Gearbox, and gave a bit more Discount. I would definitely recommend this dealership and ask for Nick in Jaguar in sales

The new site in Wide Lane is a vast improvement on the previous premises for Inchcape. The vehicles are easy parking in good sized bays now. The customer area inside is comfortable and practical for working in. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Collection of own vehicle on a Saturday, following a service was a bit disappointing as no offer of a coffee during an hour wait was offered. Maybe the 1pm closing time given was a reason to get everything tidy ready for close ? However the overall impression of new Inchcape is good and would be practical for own future use.

I cannot over-state the professionalism of the Service Centre at Inchscape Southampton. I was given detailed estimate of Service costs before I booked the car in, and I opted for the 'Service Lane' option that allows one to get Service carried out whilst one waits. I was kept apprised throughout - and even better, Inchscape have a great system where they video their Engineer's appraisal during the initial 'Health Check'. The video is immediately sent to Customer by email - so bring your Laptop :-) - - and the video shows in close up all the elements the Engineer is checking, and allows the Engineer to show the Customer any issues / areas of concern he has flagged whilst carrying out the Health Check. Better yet, the video shows good resolution close up images of the parts the Engineer is checking - and gives a really good overview of 'what is where' and how the component parts interact to keep the car moving :-) Great for those of us who are a bit vague about which bit is where and what the various bits do.
Customer Service interface is beyond faultless - - it is absolutely excellent. Once the Engineer had completed the Health Check, the Workshop Manager came out to the Customer Lounge to explain what issues they had identified [ fortunately very few ] - and gave me an estimate of cost [ again, very reasonably costed ]. Tom Hurley - Service Advisor - kept me updated whilst the work was being carried out, and gave me the clear sense that Jaguar Inchscape believed my time was as valuable as their own. I cannot recommend this Jaguar outlet more highly - I am absolutely set on continuing to entrust care of my car to Inchscape at Southampton. And I should add, my Jaguar is an older lady, not high value - and I was treated as if I was there to buy a top of the range new car. 10 out of 10 - Thank you so much Inchscape.

This was by far the best car buying experience I have experienced in over 40 years. It has never been something that I enjoy! This time I was thoroughly impressed by my overall experience of H.A. Fox Jaguar and especially by Graham Drew, the Sales Executive who dealt with me in a friendly and helpful way. I was never pushed, prodded or manipulated. Everything was very good the only issue was the cleaning of the car, it was a very poor standard streaky windows and areas inside that were still dusty.
This was much the same as when I collected the car the standard of the valet was terrible to say I had just bought a car that had only 12000 miles on the clock, i have had better valets at my local drive in car wash

Have to say, I was a little disappointed when picking up my new car which I paid almost £31K for, that had a virtually empty fuel tank and no floor mats. Hence only 4 stars. By comparison, my previous car was a Volvo and it had a full set of Volvo car mats and a full tank of fuel when I collected it.

The first Jaguar I have ever owned is an I Pace and the experience has been enhanced by sales executive Peter Crampton-Barden.
A few minor issues were dealt with immediately including a software download which resulted in an extended range from a charge.
The latest glitch was the car going in to a "sleep" mode which prevented the use of the In Control app and the use of preconditioning the car before use.
Unsure how to fix it, I drove in to Inchcape and informed Peter of my problem. He explained the way to reset the software but came out to the car with me and completed the restart. Great service.

We came to Inchcape jaguar after being spectacularly let down by another jaguar dealer in Sussex.
After the initial call to find out there stock list we drove from Sussex to Southampton and were met by George who checked our requirements and guided us towards the models we discussed.
At this point he withdrew so we didn't feel pressurised saying if you find one you would like to look closer at he'd be inside and would we like a cuppa.
We found a couple and George got us the keys and ran through all the functions and features. As the cars were in the middle of the group we popped back the following day to have a test drive.
George met us again check that we were happy to take a test drive and accompanied us all the time making sure we understood all the functions. He'd even retained our chosen seating positions.
Upon return to the showroom cups of tea appeared courtesy of Thelma on reception.
As we'd taken the time to pick out the cars to our requirements we sat down to talk deals. We were pleasantly surprised with the trade in deals much higher than other dealers offered.
We purchased two xe's with lower mileage at a lower price than others we'd seen.
Picking up a week later was as much a pleasure and a surprise to be presented with a hamper of pimms.
We've taken both cars back to see the staff and to have unforeseen problems rectified quickly and nothing is too much trouble.
But as we say if you treat people as humans not as serfs you get proper customer care and this is shown throughout the process of dealing with inchcape jaguar Southampton.

Went in to book a MOT, it took 3 different people, looked at the cars in the show room - nice, the I started looking closely and was shocked, poor shut lines on a couple of the cars, swirl marks in the painted finish, rusted brake disk's. As always the services provided by H. A. Fox Jaguar Southampton are second to none, and I have absolutely no issues with the quality of their work, and the friendliness, efficiency and professionalism of all the staff, from the Reception staff to the mechanics/engineers.
However, although my Premium Luxury Jaguar XF Sport is the best Jaguar I have ever owned in terms of driving experience, I have deeply regretted having been persuaded, at the time of purchase, to buy the diesel engine version, instead of the 3 Litre V6 petrol engine I had originally sought. While I can agree that the diesel engine is more economical, fuel economy is the only advantage over the 3 Litre V6 petrol engine as far as I can see, and not other so called advantages I was confronted with, by the then car salesperson: Jonathan Foreshaw.
I am also concerned that, because of the current adverse reporting with regard to the poisonous emissions from diesel engines, and the very likely financial penalties diesel engined car owners will be confronted with, these reports/arguments will be used as an excuse to reduce the resale value of my Jaguar.
So, if/when I replace my current Jaguar, it will be with a petrol powered model.
