My husband bought a car from them a few weeks ago now. After a couple of days with the car, we realised that it had a few issues (some major and some minor). They took the car back and fixed the issues for us, but when new issues came up a couple of weeks later, they weren't too receptive. It would have been nice to know what issues the car had up front, rather than finding out after the fact as it felt really unsafe to drive around. Our advice would be to have your car checked out independently right after you buy from them.

Visited to view a Mercedes estate with 240,000 miles. I was given keys to look over and go for test drive {no pressure} upon returning after aprox 10 mile run I had a good look around car and was happy to purchase after a bit of negotiation. After 2000 miles in 3 weeks am I happy ? YES would I purchase from them again ? YES Would advise people to check vehicle very carefully and be sure before you buy then there would not be negative reviews on here. Well done chaps keep up the good work.

Car reliability is yet to be seen and will reserve the right to alter this review if anything comes to light in an unreasonable timeframe. That being said, I have just purchased a cheap Astra 07 reg from here as a second car for my partner to go to work in, will probably only cover 5k miles or less a year. We were allowed to have a walk around the cars, look inside them, sit in them etc all without some salesman on our back pushing a hard sell. When I spoke to the staff they were helpful and approachable and still weren't pushy. Eventually asked for a test drive of the car I'd come to see and was told it wasn't possible due to being late afternoon on a Saturday and the trade plates were out on another car. Arranged one for the next day instead. Took the car for a test drive around a route they direct you around, all went well. When we said we'd have a chat and come back they were fine. Arranged to pay a deposit which was around 10% and would come pick up the car in 5 days which again all went smoothly. Car was ready and waiting and final payment and pick up went smoothly. As for the car it has been cleaned and valeted to a very high standard, came with a full MOT and had a decent service history. For a car that is 13 years old it runs smooth, everything feels tight and has no advisories on its MOT. All in all, I am very happy with my dealings with Cars 4 You and the car itself. As things stand I would recommend.
