Just to say my wife and I were very happy with the car we bought from BMW North Staffs. We really love our new car !
Our sales advisor was Becky and she was excellent throughout. Communication was easy. All questions were answered before purchase. All issues were dealt with. The prices are obviously competitive as we came from London to pick up the car and the selection they have in the showroom was far more than the BMW showrooms I saw in London.
I would give my highest recommendation to Becky (as I had seen in other reviews) and advise any potential buyer to go to her. We went to A LOT of showrooms/ dealerships before coming and we are very glad that we used this branch. We will come back here when we purchase our next car.
Personally I like dealing with people who are efficient, honest and get to the point which is what we found here. In other dealerships salespeople were interested in boasting about how many cars they sold last week or trying to get to a sale without being able to answer straightforward questions about the car which we had found off putting.

We recently snapped up a compact performance car from Knights BMW, Stoke. Although this was a used car, the buying experience was still top notch. Richard Dixon was instrumental in arranging a test drive for us on-the-spot. His enthusiasm, friendliness and business-like manner was backed up with efficient administration and prompt email exchanges to get the formalities organised. The car was prepared nicely and collecting it a few days later was akin to that for a new car. So, many thanks are due to Richard and the staff at Knights. I travelled up to bmw feeling very upset and stressed with the issue I had with my BMW X1. I have already paid out to a 3rd party garage for the issue. I visited knights North Staffs as I had seen a 320d M Sport saloon in their approved used section. Dealing with the sales exec Dan Price was straight to the point, honest open and transparent. The deal was good and therefore done!
On collecting the car disappointingly the car had some minor issues that had not been picked up on the multipoint check, Dan appeared to be as disappointed as I was and passed the feedback on immediately.
That said nothing was to much trouble and despite the Christmas holidays the minor faults were rectified swiftly and efficiently.

I was looking at getting a new used car and called Knights to gather some information. I spoke with Jack Bourne who from the beginning was extremely approachable, polite and professional who really put me at ease and assisted me with all of the information I needed.
I gave him a list of what I wanted from the vehicle and he found me the perfect vehicle which he arranged a test drive for the next day. Unfortunately, the vehicle I test drove then sold but Jack again went above and beyond to obtain a vehicle exactly the same (but higher spec!) and travelled to get it for me.

On the day of collection the presentation of the vehicle was what I would expect from a back street garage ie looked like my grandson had washed the car, along with a number of Marks / scratches I cannot recall seeing when initially viewed.
This is not what I expected from a main BMW dealership when purchasing a 2 year old car and paying a premium for the reassurance and quality you expect from a main dealership.
This resulted in my refusal to accept the vehicle until the issues are rectified,resulting in rearranging of insurance etc on my audi which I had cancelled on the day of collection.

We recently bought a used vehicle from Lookers BMW, Stoke. We were fortunate to deal with Jason (with some assistance from the lovely Beccy).
It’s obviously a basic necessity for any salesman to be likeable and amenable. Although this can be faked (“if you can fake sincerity, you’ve got it made”!) Jason is quite clearly a ‘people’ kinda guy. He demonstrates a huge level of pride in his work and went the extra mile to ensure we had the information we needed to make our decision. With an eye for detail and benefitting from valeting in his career history, he will do his level best to ensure the vehicle is handed over in the best possible condition. If something is just not possible, he seems to be just as disappointed as the customer.
It’s possible that, as customers go, we were a tad demanding but he rose to the challenge with good humour, honesty and genuine warmth of character. Most sales staff - in any industry - treat the purchaser/customer completely differently once they’ve had your money, or the deal is done. It was very clear Jason does not have this view. His extraordinary level of customer service continued after the sales was completed. We would buy through Jason again.
We would note that, when we did have problems (and we did!), these - not incidental issues - rested with internal processes and errors made in admin. Jason’s frustrations seemed to match ours and he made himself available in his best attempts to resolve the issues.

Today I had the opportunity to test drive the new BMW 320d from Knights Stoke. I was greeted by salesman Toby who is a great guy, he handed over the keys for the test drive and took me to the car with the product genius who took the time to go through all of the control and new tech in the car, and lets just say for somebody coming from a 2014 BMW 520d, these cars have come a long way since the last generation.
The Looks: The car has an edgy look to it, not just a facelift, its a whole new model, with angular harsh lines that gives the car a menacing look, you sure know what's coming in your rear view mirror when you see those distinct angel eye day time running lights.
The Drive: Very smooth with a huge quality upgrade from previous generations including thicker glass for increased sound deadening. When you enter the cabin you are greeted with lovely quilted leather seats, and a substantially bolstered leather wrapped steering wheel which on this model had paddle shifters for those exciting A roads of Snowdonia! Which brings me onto the gearbox, 8 speed silky smooth with no hesitation between gears, pull the paddle and its in the next gear before you could think about it. The suspension is firm to allow for that engaging sporty ride as you would expect as a natural characteristic from the M Sport models, however soaks up all those nasty pot holes and broken tarmac beautifully.
In summary Knights BMW have provided excellent customer service and all in all set me up in a fantastic car for the day which has the looks and performance, what more could you need?!

After being a customer of Knights BMW for many years, I expected great service again. THIS recent encounter left MUCH to be desired:
1. My 640d service and MOT was due December 2021. As if by magic, I received an e-mail offering 20 percent off same if booked on line. I selected my requirements and tried to book on line. The on-line service did not work, and I had to telephone to make the booking. I mentioned my experiences on-line, and your agent said he could extend the discount, and said he had made a note.
2. I arrived on 3 December, and was given different (higher) prices when I checked in. I explained the history, and the agent seemed to know nothing about it. I told him there had been problems with my screen washer system going back to its new installation in December 2020.
3. I waited in-store for my car. When it was ready, the agent explained the works completed. He said that BMW had considered a complimentary replacement of the screen washer unit replaced 11 months ago, but instead, it had been "blown through" to clear it. he said it had passed the MOT.
4. I paid and left for home. I had only got a mile from the dealership, and tested my screen washers. ZERO water went onto the screen. In the poor weather of the day, I had been sent home in a dangerous car.
5. When I got home, I wrote a letter to the dealer principal (Mr Crolla) explaining some the events. He told me he would investigate.
6. Service Manager Leanne telephoned, and we arranged for me to return to the dealership on 7 December. During the work to clean out my washer bottle, a locking wheel nut was broken. Leanne said that whoever had fitted this last had over-tightened it. When I got home, I checked my records. Knights BMW had last removed that wheel, and I replied to Mr Crolla.
7. I was agreed I would return to the dealership a third time (meaning another 50-mile trip for me) for the wheel nuts to be replaced (13 December 2021).
8. The nuts were replaced. As the keys were handed back to me, I was told of a bump on the NSF tyre, which should be replaced. It was not there when we MOT'd the car, I was told. I'm not so sure.
I have had some AMAZING experiences at Knights BMW from when I first bought my car there with just 22 miles on the clock. This time has been a frustrating and time-consuming experience from start to finish. It is hard to recommend Knights BMW at the moment in these circumstances.

He was helpful with confirming the correct options on the car and provided a video of the car whilst it was being prepared for sale. As a result of an error in his belief that the keyless entry could be turned off in this model/year, he corrected his response after double checking and offered adding a full tank of fuel as a courtesy. Also the price of the car as advertised when I enquired was honoured after the price was increased by £200 when the post-prep pictures were posted. Went to Knights BMW Stoke today with a wiper mechanism issue. Reported to the Service team last Friday and a service consultant ordered a part and asked me to visit today (Wednesday) to have it fitted and that due to the simplicity of the job no booing was required. On arrival today there was some confusion as the Service consultant I had been speaking to had taken holiday today and on examination the incorrect part had been ordered. I was then looked after by a Service Technician Sam Potts who was brilliant. He quickly identified the problem and whilst the correct part (a securing bolt) was not held in stock, he managed to find a compatible bolt and fixed the problem. I brought my X4 from Knights Stoke 5 years ago and have always used them for servicing, repairs and bodywork due to their high level of customer service, exemplified today by Sam Potts. Would recommend Knights and Sam to anyone.

Unfortunately my sales rep was hospitalised during the sales process and I had to chase several times for a collection date. A simple handover process would have been an easy thing to do. I also was promised a call back twice and not received anything. However, I spoke with Becky (Rebecca) who stepped in and sorted things out for me. If she hadn’t done that, I would’ve probably walked away from your dealership permanently and gone to Sytner or another BMW dealer.

I have just taken delivery of an X2. The sales person, Richard Dixon was knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure he shared accurate information about what buying a hybrid model would mean to us and how it worked/its efficency. My experience of visiting Knights BMW and the phone calls / communication from the Service team and other staff has been outstanding. The staff involved in the booking of the recall were very polite, professional and efficient and did a very good job of explaining the Service Plan which I am currently considering. Staff Member - Janine stood out for patience, knowledge and helpfulness during our call. On visiting the Dealership my experience continued to be excellent. I bumped into a technician on the car park and he was very helpful in answering some technical questions about DPFs and such that I wanted answered as I am new to ownership of my car. Even though he wasn’t in a customer facing role he was polite, friendly and ensured I had all the answers to my questions. Don’t know his name. When I entered and was seated by the staff Member the excellent service continued. The staff member was called Ronnie and she is in my experience exceptional when it comes to customer service staff! Courteousness embodied, highly socially skilled, exceptionally attentive, professional and charming also. I felt welcomed, that my concerns were listened to and addressed and that I was highly valued as a customer. Social skill aside, Ronnie appeared to know Knights BMW’s processes and procedures inside and out and could even explain the detail of the procedures that my car was undergoing and I was not expecting that. Very impressive. Even when I was told that one of my alloy wheels had been refurbished (by a prior owner and without my knowledge) and Knights could not consider replacing it under BMWs ‘good will gesture’, it was explained exactly why and how it can be ascertained that it had been refurbished and all BMWs and Knights reasonings and policies surrounding this and in such a way that I could take the information with good grace. (And I, like most people hate not getting what they want!). If you think my response is lengthy it’s because I’m a Careers Adviser of 15 years experience with a background of sales and customer service roles and I focus on people’s roles and how they perform them. My experience of Knights’ customer service peaked with Ronnie and I will certainly be using Knights for my future service and maintenance needs if this service continues. Thanks. Chris

I picked up my new BMW today and wanted to give some great feedback. At first I thought it may have been difficult picking up my new car during the pandemic alongside the important COVID restrictions but i was put well at ease with the personal calls and videos sent across to me prior to collection. On arrival, the showroom was well signed for customer safety and the staff polite and very informative. I noticed all the staff at Knights addering to social distance and wearing PPE. I felt very welcome and valued. Once i had gone through the basics with Toby the sales manager, confirming the online paperwork completed, he passed me across to Conner who helped explain how all the buttons worked and took me through the new features of the 3 series. This is my fourth BMW and in my opinion the best!

Truly excellent service - I cannot recommend this dealer highly enough. I bought a car from Alex - a really friendly young salesman. He wasn't pushy, was helpful and wanted to make sure everything went well and I was satisfied with the car and throughout the purchase process. He called a few days later to check how I was getting on and all was well.
I thought that would be the end for a while...
However, some horrible person ran a key down the entire length of the car on the passenger side - not something you want to see on your 5 month old car when you've just had it 2 weeks! Well, I took it back to Knights and went directly to Alex to ask for some help, advice and to see potential costs of repair. He came out, had a look and no sooner was that done I was sat down with a coffee whilst they took it into the body shop for a repair. I wasn't even charged for the fix! These guys go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you're satisfied and I would definitely recommend you take a look at them when considering buying a BMW.

I wish to commend and thank Daniel Thorley for his professionalism and determination to resolve my issue with Knights earlier today. I was annoyed and frustrated after reporting a fault with my BMW over the phone, which had not been rectified. A costly new BMW battery was fitted before any diagnostics were conducted. Ultimately, the battery was not causing the fault - the problem was a faulty sensor!
The four stars and commendation are personally aimed towards Daniel and NOT Knights BMW. Communication and dissemination of information between your departments seem to be lacking. Had the fault with my car been correctly diagnosed upfront, I would not have needed to pay for a new battery to be fitted.
Must do better, Knights BMW. Your service/repairs are expensive and I expected more - I would award you NO STARS, i'm afraid.

I had the pleasure of buying a 4 Series Gran Coupe from these guys recently and I have to say they made it far too easy!! I knew exactly the make and model I was looking for which I found online. All of the finance was completed over the phone, I arranged a test drive, said yes and collected the car two days later.
Super easy process from start to finish with a really organised but no fuss approach to social distancing - it was important but they didn’t make a drama out of it.
Shout out to Richard Dixon who is a really friendly, totally non-pushy salesman. Top guy who greeted me by my first name when I collected the car even though I’d only met him once - small thing I know, but it made the experience personal. Really friendly, efficient and knew his stuff... 10/10.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from these guys again and would highly recommend them for your next purchase.

Staff at the service department are friendly; I had a great experience with a gentleman called Jordan. Unfortunately it takes multiple phone calls just to get through to them or even book your car in! The responsiveness of this BMW branch isn’t the greatest. My car was in warranty with tyre pressure warning lights - it spent over 3 hours with BMW who said the solution was to change the alloys back to original to fix this. This didn’t make sense to me so I took to a local tyre garage who diagnosed and replaced the leaky air valves in 15 mins. Nice friendly staff but not the most reliable.

As a key worker, I booked my car in for a service and was given a date promptly!
Upon arriving all essential procedures were put in place and I felt comfortable and tended to safely and professionally. Safe distances were always kept, the showroom and waiting area has been adjusted to deal with the social distancing in place, staff were all keeping to the regulations and wearing PPE where necessary.
The service itself was fast and processed efficiently! Would recommend to any key workers who need a service and people feeling apprehensive at these times.

Very disappointed that no curtesy car was available due to Covid, but what I don't understand I was offered a deep sanitizer for my car @X price, so why the dealership could not provide a car then sanitize after is questionable. Also I was told the tyre pressure light was on with the tyres needing air following the vehicle check, I then requested this to be done, due to not be carried out following the check???? surely I should not be required to ask to be carried out. I also found that 1 of the service staff not to the standard I would expect very disappointed.

I had an amber drivetrain warning light come on so disappointing that I had to wait 2 weeks for a booking during which time the car was parked up (I had to use my wife's car). I also emailed the dealership twice after making the booking with a query but had no reply. I had no means of dropping the car off and had to wait for it. I arrived at 8.50am but parts had to be ordered and the work wasn't finished until 4.30pm. I waited 7.5 hours in the dealership. The person who looked after me on the day was very good, but I have my doubts about bringing my car to the dealership in future.

So a BMW car dealership.... you buy a car and drive it away. Should not be more complicated than that. I would struggle to bother to rate and review more than 4 stars for a simple transaction even if the coffee is lovely. On this occasion, they absolutely deserve 5 stars. There was a niggle with the paint on the roof, other car dealers may have fobbed me off, Knights (Alex Cooper) took total and immediate ownership of the problem and got it through their paint shop and gave me a courtesy car for the duration. The paint finish was the highest standard and everything has been perfect since. Yes you could save a few quid by buying privately but the sales and after sales service of Knights really does stand out and is the value you receive.

I called the office and was welcomed by Jason, who seemed different to all car dealers I had encountered before - see I have a real lack of faith of car dealers , mechanics etc because of previously poor experiences.
Jason took me through the process with absolute ease , I felt at comfort throughout and this being my first car purchases through a main dealer I was walked (drove in the end ) through the process with simplicity with the feeling the best deal had been structerd for my benefit , not the dealership.
I purchased a 3 series GT and got a great deal on my merc with the trade in. I was clearly advised through the legality and t and c and never thought I was being blindsided .

Picked up my new car this weekend, despite Covid the whole experience was great from start to finish. The whole team was warm and welcoming as well as the whole showroom feeling clean- with plenty of space between customers.

When I went to pick up the car, on my husbands request- it was decorated with a huge bow- which really put a smile on my face. They also spent a lot of time going through the cars operations- helping to set up the sat nav, phone, seats etc.

Had a transmission fault on my 66 plate BMW 320 and phoned knights stoke, I needed the car looking at urgently due to going on holiday in it in less than a week. They fitted me in and were able to provide me with a courtesy car even at short notice. When I arrived to drop the car off I had two young children with me and was greeted by a lovely warm welcome from Lola on the service desk. She dealt with checking the car in quickly, handed the courtesy car over and offered to help with my car seats etc which made the whole thing so easy. She updated me about the situation with my car throughout the two days it was in and personally greeted me when I returned to collect my car which was Valeted and waiting for me on time as promised. This is my first BMW and what a great experience I have had. I dealt with Richard Dixon, who not only knew his stuff but gave excellent customer service from start to finish. On handing over the car to me, he had all the paper work ready, cold drinks due to it being boiling hot day and even some biscuits for my daughter. He explained everything to me on how the car works and really made me feel like a valued customer. I would highly recommended Knights BMW Stoke and will certainly be buying another car from Richard Dixon. He now has a customer for life in me. Great Job!!

This was my first bmw on mobility , in the beginning it was a disaster the sales staff I felt with was useless never rang me back didn’t reply to my emails was left with no clue to what was happening so frustrating ,then as I was just about to cancel my order (if it had even been ordered at that time) Lauren sent me a video message introducing herself as my new point of contact! What a breath of fresh air is she on the ball! I messaged her the details of my concerns and it was all sorted within an hour with apologies of how I had been treated by her predecessor! Lauren’s knowledge and patience as she took me through the controls and equipment of the car was outstanding. Absolutely 1st class service provided by Knights. The previous vehicle which I purchased from another dealership was slowly making me fall out of love with driving. A chance phone call to Knights has really reignited my passion in driving and the BMW brand.
The sales representatives I dealt with were Bernadette Sanders and Julianne Elson and the two ladies were brilliant and dealt with every query however small with professionalism and with the personal touch that you sometimes don’t get from a large firm.
I am now the proud owner of a M140i Shadow Edition and it’s an absolute gem of a car!! I believe that I received a very good deal which included a part exchange of my previous car, it was thoroughly refreshing to actually feel that Knights were not trying to rip me off and we’re actually looking with my best interest at heart.
The vehicle I was trying to get out of was in negative equity and I had a ceiling monthly cost which I wanted to spend, this was not a problem at all and the numbers were worked out and with the time for build/delivery enabled me to get a deal which I’ve not seen bettered for the vehicle I’m driving.
I’m so happy with the service I’ve received from Knights and I WILL 100% stick with Knights as the whole experience is head and shoulders better than any other dealership I’ve purchased a new car from in the past.

I contacted Knight's when I noticed condensation in one of the rear light clusters. I contacted the service team and the car was in for its repair under warranty within 2 days. Excellent service throughout with a health check and computer update included, followed by a courtesy valet.
Kate kept in touch with me throughout the two days the car repair was being processed. She was courteous and professional. The car had to be kept for one extra day due to ordering of parts. She kept me updated and was most apologetic for the unavoidable delay. I was contacted once the work was completed so I didn't have to wait around and waste time. I did not have to do any chasing up.
I was offered a courtesy car if I had needed one, but the repair would have been completed at a later date because of demand.

Had been looking for an M4 for around four weeks, John called me up with a car I couldn't refuse. I had a very small time frame to make it work, but I had complete confidence he could make it happen, and I wasn't disappointed. Would be nice to know a better ETA when the vehicle will be ready for collection etc as I went back after 2 hours of dropping the car off and I was waiting for over an hour in the waiting area when my car was sitting outside in the car park , also it’s a disappointment not offering a complimentary wash , all other dealers offer one despite the COVID situation.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had.
Jim Pickerill was superb as an pleasant, reasonable and above all honest sales representative. He gave me genuinely helpful advice that was essential in making the correct decision on a long term purchase. It was an entirely non pressured experience which I found so refreshing compared with other dealers.
I didn't catch the names of the ladies at the reception desk, however they couldn't have been more helpful, and really put me at my ease. The whole transaction was done in one afternoon with minimal hassle and was a genuine pleasure.
