Took my car in for a service and to have a minor fault fixed. I waited whilst the work was done. I was offered coffee at regular intervals while I sat at a work station. My car was recalled. Initially I found the number provided for the contact centre frustrating as I was passed from department to department, giving my details three times after each time being guaranteed that my details had been updated on the system but they failed to do so.
However my car was dropped off this morning At the Swindon branch to check the recall issue, I was pleasantly surprised with the service from a young man named “Kieran” . within half hour of dropping my vehicle , He explained in detail why the vehicle had been recalled and kept up to date with the progress of my vehicle. Having worked in The car service industry myself and understanding what a customer expects, I am so impressed with the customer service that i received and also praise must go to the workshop for their great work too. I just bought my 3 Series from here. I am really happy with the service that I received from both Joey Lloyd, my sales advisor & Richard Macklin (the finance man). No pressure at all from these people. Joey happily let me take a couple models out for a drive so it could really help me make up my mind and when I eventually decided, did his best to get the car to me on time! (Sorry you couldn't be there for the hand over Joey)
This being my first PCP ever, Richard took his time to explain the details of my agreement and really made me feel comfortable and at ease. No tricks, no surprises, no hard sales tactics from either of them.

My husband bought a BMW 2 series gran tourer from Dick Lovett BMW Swindon last weekend. Starting the journey back home the engine warning light came on. After contacting BMW Assistant he took the car straight back to the dealer. Everyone who dealt with the problem were great, lending my husband a car to return home in and use whilst the fault was identified and fixed. They called back when they promised to and kept us informed of the progress, finally delivering the car to us in Norfolk on a trailer.
We could not have asked for better service and when something goes wrong you need to know that the aftersales service is going to be good.
We would highly recommend this dealership and are very happy with our new purchase.

Just bought a new second hand B M W 730. It seemed to be very unsteady, so I phoned Dick Lovett in Swindon and they advised me the car needed a free up date and that they would do a health check on the car. I delivered the car and was kept up to date 4 times by Tom. I collected the very clean car the next day with a full report with the up grade completed and no charge. This was the first time I used BMW Swindon to carry out work on my X4, which I recently purchased second hand from another dealership. And after 10 years of excellent service with Mercedes I was a bit nervous about what to expect.
What a really pleasant experience it turned out to be. From Ashley and Matt in service and parts, who helped organise everything, to Keiran in service who looked after me on the day and Lee, the technician, who carried out the long and complex retrofit of a reversing camera, everything was as good as you could possibly have hoped for. The icing on the cake was a great job by the valeting team.

What amazing service! My spare car key (not even BMW - Mini!) was stolen from my home. I reported this immediately to MINI, who were shut due to the CV-19. BMW called me, organised a convenient time for me to come in, wiped the spare key - all with no contact, and respecting the 2 metre distance. I always feel well looked after when dropping my car off for servicing. Staff are always helpful, polite and informed. the waiting area has plenty to keep you occupied and hydrated with coffee, water and soft drinks. The only issue is the traffic when dropping my car off, Swindon is a nightmare, but not Dick Lovett's fault!

I visited the dealership to get new private number plates made for my partners car as a surprise. The Parts Department were very helpful. They have a fantastic shop display of various gifts, accessories and car care products, which exceeds any other dealership I have visoted over the years.

From start to finish, pampered!
This was my second service after buying a 3 series BMW with Luke Day (excellent sales staff). I phoned and was welcomed by Dick Lovetts very welcoming reception staff to booked us in. Shortly after I received a initial text, telling me about my service/MOT date and time. Then, the day before the service, I received another text reminding me of the service appointment (very practical).
Interestingly (and very useful too), I also received a short video link by email telling me about the disruptions I may expect at the service area when arriving - telling me about the refurbishment works going on, and equally practical, where to park and where to meet the service staff - due to this, I had absolutely no delays at all on arrival. (Great start)
Once the car was handed over to the 'very polite' team of service staff, within an hour or so I recieved another email with a video link of my car in the workshop with the mechanic, showing some rudimentary checks carried out during the free road safety check. Several hours later I received a call to let me know the car was ready to pickup. Not only was I in and out without any disruptions, they also cleaned my car inside and out at no extra charge. FABULOUS!
From the moment I purchased my car, to date I've received nothing but genuine courtasy and professionalism. 6 STARS as far as I'm concerned. At those who feel they had a poor time, no ones perfect and things sometimes go wrong - but no one can knock these guys for providing excellent customer service.
I also purchased the 5 years service plan with my car (@ £500 I think) and thats a fantastic deal considering I never have to worry about expensive service costs and its with BMW (£100 a year and this includes breakdown and recovery). BMW simply take my car, service it and sort it with minimal disruption and I don't have to hand a penny over for 60,000 miles or 5 years. I'll definately be buying that again.

Very dubious at the moment purchased a BMW m4 competition brand new it has a fault an intermittent knocking noise possibly coming from rear differential could be wrong l took the car in as soon as l noticed it but guess what it didn't make the noise on demand so the technician guy said to bring it in when first service is due they seem blazay l would of thought a rotational clonking sound would be investigated immediately then I'm told there is no availability of courtesy vehicle so l have to drive the car against my will as it is needed for commuting to and from so I'm basically driving a vehicle which has a problem so I'm disappointed at present l was told to get the service done at about 1200 miles and no later than 1800 miles on the phone today l was told it should be done by 1200 miles it has at present 1234 miles and the idrive states its overrun by 10 miles l would of expected that when buying a £70,000 car that you would get service to match it ain't pocket money being spent
Update service team have pulled the rabbit out of the hat and isolated the issue and I'm happy with their conclusion l must apologise for being quick to doubt their expertise

We’ve just taken delivery of a 320D GT Sport Auto from Dick Lovett BMW Swindon.
We had been looking around for a couple of months for a 3 Series Touring or Mercedes C Class Estate. Our home is in Llanelli South Wales and we had visited two BMW and a Mercedes main dealer closer to home but received no follow up from any of them despite seeing cars go on sale that we could have been interested in.
While on holiday in the Cotswolds we went to Swindon and visited Dick Lovett’s to view an advertised 3 Series Touring which on arrival had been sold. The salesman (Peter Marks) took our details and as promised followed up our meeting with a couple of calls that resulted in a trip to Swindon to make our purchase. We were very surprised that the GT, which is longer than the Touring and it has considerably more passenger and luggage area space
The whole buying experience was friendly, professional and pressure free and well worth the long drive to Swindon.

It's an okay dealership but it has the same failings as the rest of the car dealerships in Swindon. Servicing isn't to bad. I'm stuck using Bmw dealers and kwit fit due to having a lease car. If it was my own car I wouldn't go near either of them.
