Amazing staff. Have always been very helpful and accommodating however, in May 2022, 4 days before departing on an 18 day, 3750 mile adventure in our 2006 Toyota Hiace Charlene and the service team confirmed my worst fears that my Clutch was on its last legs. In an amazing show of good service the van was in the workshop 3 days later and completed that day. !!! Epic service, that allowed an epic holiday! Thanks guys!

I ordered the Toyota Yaris Hybrid Design trim on the 18th January 2022 through the carwow app with an expected delivery period of April 2022, I was told that the delay in production was due to global shortage in semi conductors that were effecting everyone (fair enough). The order process was easy enough and we confirmed the figures quoted in the car wow offer, before placing down a £250 deposit that I assume would be forfeited should I fail to follow through with PCP deal. Whilst I did have to chase for updates I always received a quick response from Luke who was always pleasant, he suggested I use the my Toyota app to follow progress of the order as it was far quicker but I was only able to do this for a matter of weeks before a technical error in the app stopped me from doing using it and had to revert back to getting updates through Luke. (Again, no problems with Luke who was always contactable and pleasant).
I was told the order had been further delayed until the end of June. Again not ideal, particularly as I was trying to time the transition with my old car, but these things happen.
Then the good news finally came that my car had arrived, however, was told that due to the delay in vehicle production they had sent a slightly updated model (apparently my original order was for the 21.5 and they had sent the 22). No problem you’d think? As I had ordered this over 5 months ago and we agreed the initial terms. Unfortunately that was not the case and I was given two options, withdraw from the sale or pay the extra £610 for the car (apparently the newer model had some slightly upgraded features, none of which I had asked for and all relate to changes to trim/air con).
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a competitive price that is being offered on the new car but frustrating that the original terms of the car wow offer will not be honoured and that there has been no good will offer from the dealership. As you can appreciate, this makes planing finances more difficult in regards to car purchase.
So it is worth noting, you are by no means guaranteed to pay what was originally agreed and this could be more should you use the car wow app!
