I always seem to have a different experience to that of my partner when I visit. I booked in for my service and was told I would have to pay £20 for use of a courtesy car when my partner was given one for free last month when his car went in for service. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the service plan I purchased with the car had not been set up and the service team had no record of this (this got resolved by the service team). On collection, I was surprised that there was no further discussion about my finance or my options with the car as when my partner collected his car the dealership discussed with him his equity, and his options should he wish to trade in now.

I was in the locality in good weather when visiting from Northern Ireland to attend a wedding when my 67 plate Tiguan had an issue with its panoramic roof not closing, I arrived just at 5pm when all mechanics were just heading home on Friday 17th June 2022 in a bid to get the roof closed as there was rain in the forecast. Inchcape's technician (Jamie) was still on site and could see my issue and did what he could to ensure the window was closed to ensure a dry return home to Northern Ireland.

I found the service slow was asked to take a seat and wait when dropping my vehicle off and when collecting. I had to wait at least 10 minutes and there were staff standing around chatting to each other. When i phoned to discuss collection of my vehicle i was told the person i needed to speak to had gone shopping and would not be long "she would ring back soon" I did not get a phone call back and in fact had to telephone back an hour and a half later. I did expect better customer service from a main dealer. The actual repair to my car and information provide to explain this was excellent.

Booked a full service for one of our company cars at about 10pm the night before (booked online), and when I dropped off there was some confusion as it had not been added onto their end - the service team sorted it out once given all the details and all work was carried out by the end of the day. Not sure I fully qualify as a customer(?) , but a couple of weeks I enquired about a VW used car that had been in stock since July . I made an offer £1000 less which was reasonable given it had been there quite some time. Apparently Inchcape at dealer level won’t move on their prices and my offer had to go for referral .I had one update and then nothing since. The dealership have been initially helpful but it seem their hands are tied... So where are we 2 week later? No more updates , so you would assume the car is sold , they don’t want to deal ? .. no the cars still for sale , but the price has gone up.. Odd way to do business and Inchcape must be doing so well not to want to discuss an offer on a car quietly taking root week after week, as a cash buyer able to move quickly it’s very frustrating and I’m sure there’s a dealer out there with a different approach.

I called up this dealership on Tuesday to enquire about a vehicle and I spoke to a very helpful lady named Camilla who gave me some info about the car I was interested in. I called up again that same day for some more details and spoke to a guy named Brad who was equally helpful and friendly. On that same day I made the decision to purchase the car and a few hours later Camilla emailed me the documents for me to sign. The next morning I purchased the car via online banking and Camilla confirmed that the car would be delivered to my chosen address at a time that suited me. Later that day the car was dropped off by Brad who was very friendly and we had a quick chat before handing me the keys to my new car. Amazing place. Had a problem where the mirror part of the side mirror came detached from the side mirror panel. I taunt up VW Telford and they told me to bring it in for the, to check. On arrival, I explained my situation and they fixed my car within 20 minutes, and the best part was that they did it for me free of charge. I had never had any dealings with either Volkswagen or Inchcape VW Telford prior to this week. My son was looking for a newer car and we headed off to Inchcape to see what was on offer. As soon as we arrived we were impressed by the size of the place and the number of quality used cars that were available. While browsing the vehicles on offer we were approached by Rajbir who spent a load of time with us discussing the type of car and deal my son wanted. Having a good idea now what we wanted Rajbir took us all inside the clean and airy showroom where tea and coffee was offered. Never at any time did we find the staff pushy or too sales orientated, we genuinely felt we were really important and our satisfaction came first. Rajbir spent a great deal of time and effort getting us the exact match for my son, and then Shaz the business manager helped us through the finance options to again find the best deal for our son. We bought an almost new car and we still didn't feel pressurised, in fact we left feeling we had made new friends. Not only were the VW terms and warranties excellent, they also give you a 30 money back guarantee so if your not happy you can take the car back! Raj and Shaz, thank you for excellent service, we have your personal numbers and our next car is coming from you guys too! A real credit to their company, thank you. December 2019 - In addition to the above review, I got a slow puncture in a tyre and when I attempted to take off the wheel I found out that the key for the security stud had been stripped and I Couldn't remove the wheel for repair. I Contacted Inchcape Telford garage and they took my car in immediately, removed all 4 security bolts for me and replaced them completely free of charge within 30 minutes. Now thats service! I honestly can't recommend this garage and staff highly enough!

We visited Inchcape Telford to look for a used Golf 1.4 TSI to replace my daughter's Ford Fiesta. We were met by Bradley Randall who was excellent from the moment we met him. He arranged for the vehicle we were interested in to be prepared before we arrived and bought it around for my daughter to test drive. At no point was he 'pushy' and he gave us excellent advice concerning the the special offer that was applicable at that time regarding free Servicing, free MOT's, further extended free Warranty and free Roadside Assistance. Ironically, I purchased my Golf TDI 130 from Inchcape Telford 17 years ago now and, with 174,000 miles on the clock, it's still running beautifully. I remember Inchcape were excellent on that occasion too. If I finally get around to replacing my Golf I would certainly take the effort to drive the 30 or so miles from home rather than use my local VW dealership just 2 miles away as we have had superb service on both occasions and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending.

Got a Service/MOT as part of a Das Velt Auto Service Plan (as my car is a Used VW Car Purchase). Service team was very polite, welcoming and clear with their communication. Service itself was very good and had traceability particularly with the Health Check Video you get emailed. I also got a free Dataplug for Smartphone connection to my car to see how it is running (but I think you need to request this, its not given automatically). I specifically asked for my car NOT to be cleaned, as I don't trust main dealers with their "dish-cloth" approach to not ruin the paintwork, and they adhered to this too. Only minor mistake is I was told my car needed a CAM Belt Change on the day for £479 (and I had requested on both phone calls when booking to check this). I accepted anyway as this is a cheaper rate than 3rd party garages, only to be told on collection that my car was a CAM Chain and therefore didn't need doing. So I saved money, but they should know this from the start in my opinion. Generally a good quality service garage, however I wouldn't recommend an MOT at £59 a pop!
