YES THE SAME DAY !!!!!!
we just got chatting and the time passed by with a coffee once all the paper work was done we headed over to collections where I was introduced to Kevin
Kevin went through everything with me from explaining the log book all the way to showing me how to operate my new car !!

Visited Car shop without an appointment we didn't really have a clue what car we wanted. Mitch was excellent he really helped whittle down makes and models and gave us so much advice!. Only reason we didn't buy a car on the day was because they didn't have one on stock at the time that ticked all the boxes in terms of price, milage etc.. The buying of the car was an easy and pleasant experience. There was no pressure from Gabbi, he was helpful but kept his distance until asked.
Lachlan in finance ran through my options with me and again was helpful with no pressure to buy add-ons.

What can I say, on arrival yesterday to view a vehicle at the Warrington branch after it was transferred from another branch within a day, we were greeted by Andy in sales, the car was exactly how they describe on the phone, very professional and made you feel welcome, the test drive was great no pressure at all.

Recently bought a preowned vehicle entirely online from CarShop Warrington. Purchased my Renault Kadjar back in January from a helpful sales advisor called Nathan. Excellent service from the start when I booked in for my appointment to see the car, right through to the end. A little sales pitch at the end to try and upgrade policies etc but nothing to pressurising. Ended up giving me a great price for my Ford S max so I didn't even bother trying to sell it myself. I will certainly be going back in a few years when I am ready to upgrade again.

Bought a car from carshop Warrington after finding the car I wanted on auto trader. The car was originally based in swindon but was soon moved to the branch closest to me - Warrington. Before the finance was sorted (3rd party) they sent me a personalised video of the car going into all the details and condition so I could be 100% happy with it before coming down to the store. After having the finance sorted prior to going I went and collected the car with my dad in my car to part exchange. Everything went smoothly I got a decent price for my car and although we waited longer than anticipated in branch I can't fault the staff or the store. The sales manager I dealt with was Sam and he went through all the paperwork and ensured everything was correct and was informative about any extras available. On the way home the car had an engine warning light appear. I contacted yourselves regarding it knowing I had the 3 month warranty to ask how to solve it. Amelia got back to regarding this and since I am over 2 hours drive away from yourselves she advised me on what to do next. After going to a local garage and getting it fixed (thankfully was only a small issue) and yourselves covering the bill I cannot fault carshop at all. All of my emails get answered in a timely manner, my refunds arrived quickly and most importantly the car is in perfect condition and looks as good as it did in the pictures. A special thanks to Sam and Amelia who sorted me out with the car and the problems following. Would definitely deal with carshop again.

I've now had two meaningful visits to CarShop Warrington. Once for myself and again with a family member. Both times we've left without a purchase. So the real question is why?
The staff are polite, friendly and relaxed with little selling pressure. The stock is impressive with an obvious attention to presenting only the best motor examples. The slow internal computer network, can draw out the process. However, the staff remain professional. Test drives are very good, plenty of different types of road in the area to experience the car adequately in the 45 minutes allocated. Nothing feels 'hidden' at this point. All good.
The missing star comes down to - "Total price to change".
Using autotrader, I found carshop cars are priced competitively for the area but not country wide. Add in the £150 hidden admin charge which can be removed, but paperwork is more on you. The price to charge becomes sour. The sales staff have no wiggle room on price. You may get a slight budge from their managers but nothing that made us put pen to paper, in the end.
I understand there is always going to be two sides of the 'Car coin'. The customer wants the best price for their trade in and the lowest price for the car they want to buy. The business wants to cover their maintenance costs and turn a profit. One is always going to lose money when upgrading their vehicle via car showrooms. If you want better prices, extend your travel for the right car or go private but then the risks increase. I found a better deal for the same make and model elsewhere. Convenience vs patience =)

Gary Yueng is the sales for my case. He is very friendly and professional, he walked though me patiently with on car selection, he
shown me different options of car, pro and cons, he shared his professional opinions on my family (5members). Before I made purchase decision, he joined me to test the car and shown me the function of every buttons on the panel.
All in all, Carshop is big, they are showing many cars in their car park, everyone here is professional and nice. I highly recommend CarShop to you, especially to those who speaks Cantonese HKers.

Luke at Warrington was good and a very patience sales person. Keeping good contact with the customer and help choosing the right car is a must attitude, he's got all that.
To add my experience. Though the sales are great the after sales on the other hand are terrible (-5 Star), especially if any components needed replacing under warranty.
It took 2 separate trips to identify what the issue is and parts required and fixing it on the 3rd trip, but it then created new ones, which consequently leading to a 4th trip to sort out, bare in mind it has taken 4 months and yet still not fault free. Customer care is minimal and slow.
Long story short taken 6 months to resolve problems from week 1. I offered to return the vehicle but the Manager insisted they need to given the chance to fix it. 6 months down the line they have fixed the original problem but in return they created another totally due to unprofessional technician's. Never buy from carshop again nor will recommend any of my friends.
BTW still not sorted yet. My advice if anything wrong within the 1st 14 days simply return for a refund. I should have and I regretted giving them the chance.

In a better position to leave a review. We attended fir my sister originally and she didnt end up buying the vehicle BUT I had a look through thier catalogue of used cars and found something perfect for me.
I paid the £99 to reserve it and it took 5 days to come from the Cardiff store to the Warrington store. I was contacted by Joe who made the experience great and added a personal touch in his communicative approach and such a bubbly guy who was very informative.
He went through everything and was up front about the costs and prices and then passed me through to Chris in financing who was a flippin’ Gentleman and added class to my experience with Carshop. Again informative and friendly. Once evrything was sorted in what must have been 45mins depsite being told it could be an hour or more he handed me over to Darren in the Handover department. He was su xxx an approachabke guy who a tualky had the same car I was purchasing and shown me the ropes. Then how delighted to find extras on the car that were not advertised and yet again I fell in love with her all over again. I have had some shocking encounters with Car Showrooms and even though things appear A-OK for me at the moment I have the complete trust in Carshop Warrington and think they are a great bunch! Of course I can see other reviews are not great however I can only tell you my experience and tell you I think from now on these are the people I will deal with for all my car needs 🤜🏼🤛🏼🙌🏼

it's a shame that the follow service counter staff are not fully up to spead when it come to customers care and communication. my wife being very upset trying to get through after 5 hours to checkmon her car service and MOT update. after being told at the counter at 9.00a.m 3 hours. No phone call indicating a delay, just told your in a que, even though the car had been booked in 3 weeks earlier. There was some good news MOT done but not the service noted at 1,30p.m over 5 hours later. I then asked to cancel it and within a few minutes a Carshop turned around to get it done next. The downside being why was the service not done with the MOT ? nothing fully explained.
I then presended cash pavement and told we only take card. nothing visual showing on the counter (witnessed by other Crshop staff members). told its our policy over covid 19, no sorry for error on his part, as the service gentlemen quickly produced a hidden sign with card payment only. No good if the customer cannot see it. This was not explained no cash, at the time of handing the keys over to the same person. Having no card payment method in my possession. I explained the lack of communication from counter staff to a junior manager who kindly resolved the situation. Accepting the cash . Toolbox talk option for counter to clearly display at the service checkin point the signage so all to see and explain card payment only.
I am unfortunately giving the Service desk only ONE Star. that goes to the manager who stepped in. My wife is adamant she will not be calling in again for any future services at the Carshop warrington

Bought a car on Saturday asked if I could pick up on Friday the BM made a huge thing that they don’t like cars waiting for that long so asked me could I pick up earlier said ok Tuesday at 4pm - currently sat here it’s 5:17 and the car still isn’t ready still being valeted - not good I was told I could literally turn up and it would take 5-10 mins to sort !!!!

Purchased my 2015 M135i in December 2020 and safe to say, my experience has been a game of two halves.
Reserved the car online and I was greeted by it when I turned up. I was then greeted by a rep at the door who asked what car I was there to see and he quickly told me the name of the sales rep I was going to be dealing with (like he was expecting me - similar to an expensive hotel - nice touch) and then sat me down in a covid secure area until I was seen a few minutes later.
I was then given the car to test drive solo and then made the purchase. My car was offered up as part-exchange. Both prices were fair, the sale very efficient (took less than 30 minutes) and in a very covid safe environment.
I then picked up the car a week later. Surprise surprise the car mats were no longer in the car (they were on the online pictures and the test drive) but the sales rep soon sourced a new set, no questions asked.
A couple of days later and because it was a high-performance car, I decided to take it to my local BMW dealership to check it over and I was very disappointed to learn they’d found no less than 4 suspected oil leaks (turbo, rocker cover, transmission gasket and oil filter) as well as a dud battery.
To say I was disappointed was an understatement feeling that these leaks should have been picked up on their pre-sale checks - at least a couple if not all could be seen from the underside of the car. That said I got back in touch with Carshop and was pleased to speak to Carly who took complete ownership of my complaint and got my car booked in two weeks later and in the meantime, she asked me to send the BMW print out so that they could ensure they were prepared before my car turned up.
Although I was still a little deflated (ready to give the car back and walk away) I was pleased they were going to take a look and two hours after I dropped the car off Carly called me back to say that the mechanic agreed with the BMW diagnosis and all the genuine parts would be ordered and the car fixed.
Although the car was in for a little over a week, Carly kept me informed throughout the time and then met me when I picked it up again complete with a print out of all the work that had been carried out.
Although I’m still holding my breath, hoping that when I take it back to BMW after another 1k miles to make sure nothing else is leaking (there was still quite a bit of residual oil around the engine bay so hard to distinguish if old or new), I have been pleased with the way they dealt with it - all of which free of charge.
So to sum it all up.

2. The car was sold with some MAJOR problems
3. They took ownership of said problems spearheaded by Carly who,
4. Demonstrated great customer care BUT
Jury still out as to whether all the leaks have been fixed, but so far so good…

I brought a car from here, and the service received was first class, Leo looked after us and was very good and knew what he was talking about, and Richard has the best sense of humour I have come across for someone dealing with the paper work, the only issue I had was I part exchanged my car, and had cash back to come back off my car, which they said I would receive within 3 days, unfortunately there admin was not as thorough as the sales, I phoned Human Resources and spoke to Amy from Sheffield, she was very good, excellent communication and definitely knew what she was doing, she phoned them and I got my cash back sorted, over all an excellent service thank you CarShop, and yes I absolutely love my Mitsubishi.

Georgia took our case on. We told her 2 cars we where interested in. One was at this shop, the other in Cardiff. Georgia got us sorted to test drive one of the cars which I then decided wasn't for me. She advised me the best way to get the other car I was interested in, to the local store l. I enquired online and after a few quick questions and paying my deposit the car was coming over. I was quoted it can take 3-5 days. To my surprise it was less than 24 hours Georgia phoned me to inform my car has just came in. I went to see it the following morning and decided to take it.
The only let down of the whole process was the valet of the car. The excitement to pick out and take your new pride and joy home was ruined slightly by marks and stains being left on the seats and the overhead upholstery. General muck from shoes on the floor and a couple of sticky marks on the centre console. I had my own cleaning items to clean the seats, floor and centre console my self. However, something that I'm guessing is grease or blood from the previous owner is on the roof of the inside of my car. Nothing major in the grand scheme of things, but it was a real shame after such great service in every other department.
Overall I would recomeded getting a car here! I may have just been unlucky but a valet may be needed after picking up your vehicle. Besides this, a very good and efficient service! Would have been 5 stars if valeted fully.

What can I say…….what a fabulous experience from start to finish. Our first contact was James, lovely chap, very knowledgeable about cars, and extremely understanding and patient. We went for a Golf and I arranged to pick it up the following day. Unfortunately, I decided overnight that I couldn’t give up my SUV. I went back to the CarShop and the car was ready. I broke the news to Richard and he was brilliant too, reassuring that it wasn’t an issue. We went and had another look around and decided on an SUV, James and Richard were brilliant. Richard sorted all the paperwork out (again!). We arranged to wait and take it away. Again, brilliant service from Jaimie on the handover desk, he was extremely helpful and patient (even though he was rushed off his feet). He sorted everything out and I drove off in my SUV. huge range of cars - made it easy to look in one place for several different vehicles
an easy to use website and all cars we looked at on autotrader, so was easy to see what they had
Test drive was simple to organise and had a good route - unlike other places we tried
Prices were competitive - we checked a few dealers and CarShop were always well priced.
Loads of staff - so didn’t have to sit and wait until someone was free
Lovely building - plenty of space and very clean
Cons:
A lot of waiting - no one seems to be able to make a decision without referring it to someone else. So every query you have or price negotiation needs to be shuttled between two people. Frustrating.
Aggressive upsells - there are a number of additional products that are pushed at you during the sales process. Even after we’d turned them down they were pushed repeatedly. This was probably the biggest negative.
Data capture process - it’s not the fault of the sales team, but they want to capture every detail when all we wanted to do was talk cars. It added more time into a process that took much longer than needed (see earlier point).
Would recommend but suggest that you allow a lot of time and so your research on additional products before you get there.

Recently purchase a car at Warrington. Customer service would be 5 stars however the experience was slightly tainted due to the guardX product we were sold.
I take an interest in car valeting so when the offer of a ceramic coat for 299 was offered I snapped it up. I had a niggling feeling it was too good to be true as anywhere else its 500 just for the outside where as this came with internal upholstery protection too.
To apply a ceramic coat properly, the paint needs to be free from contaminates, which involves an extensive full clay bar and polish. When I picked up the car, this clearly hadn't been done as the paint was rough to touch in numerous places, especially around the wheel arches, usually from tar.
I own a similar age vehicle, which hasn't been ceramic coated. It just receives an annual polish and clay bar twice a year, and water beads much better than on my partners, which has supposedly just been ceramic coated.
Like I said, it feels like I could have saved 299, but other than that the service was fine.

Mixed experience. Andy our finance guy was amazing. 10/10 very helpful. The 3 hours it took to get to Andy when we had an appointment however, not so good. Greeted by a 20 year old who knows nothing about the car we have already reserved, had moved to warrington and been researching for the past 2 weeks, I asked 4 times on the day what work had been done on the car due to the MOT showing advisories. Gabriel failed to answer 3 times, got a bit aggressive with his objection handling, laughing at your customers answers is not always a good idea, especially when then are pointing our the product you are selling (mot cover) does not work out as financially viable. The "test drive" was all of 5 minutes where he spent most of that time on his phone, he didn't go over how to use a Stop/Start dispit us saying we had not used one b4. Overall he was a bad advisor.
Andy the finance guy was polar opposite, you could not ask for a more attentive person. Went above and beyond during the entire application process, kept a track when system issues that was not even with car shop was occurring and called to make sure everything was OK and even chased the finance company. When asked about the repair work done on the car, not only did he confirm that all the advisories had been addressed but proceeded to show me a detailed breakdown of the repair work including specific parts and costs.
We collected the car 3 days after our appointment due to the GAP cover offered by car shop resulting in a delay to the application but come Collect we spoke with James who was very friendly and was extremely smooth. James even set up the Tax for us which is something I had all ready to do on my phone so that was a nice surprise.
All in all had it not been for Andy I think we would have gone elsewhere based on our experience at Car Shop. Very long wait, not kept informed and there appeared to be far to many staff just standing around talking. The building is very open and loud making conversation difficult. Also not sure if it was just the days I happened to go but it's a very "White" showroom. The only person of colour I saw working there on the days I was there was 1 man cleaning the cars.

Lovely place, very friendly staff. They have free tea and coffee from a machine and a vending machine with snacks and bottled drinks. Free water.. They are dog friendly we had our two dogs with us and they got so much attention from the staff and was even allowed to come on the test drive with us. It did take a long time though, but they was low on staff. My advice would be to take food and drink with you although there are places to eat near by. Overall I would recommend the place. It was worth the wait. The whole thing is run really well.. They also have antibac gel, spray and wipes everywhere for you to use and even had masks on the table for you as you walk in. Gabby was a lovely young man and he come in on his day off to sell us the car. All the staff were great but Gabby was fantastic. Our girls loved him.

I've purchased my last two vehicles from here. Always get a fair trade in price and there's a lot of vehicles to choose from.
I found an issue with a vehicle I was due to pick up on the final walk around and had no problem backing out of the purchase and received my deposit back straight away. Once you've found a vehicle be prepared for the sales managers to try and sell you every conceivable extra, (warranty, gap, service plan). Do your research before deciding on these as they can be found online a lot cheaper.

Update 2022: Revisited Jan 2022 with a view to an upgrade on previous purchase. However, after discussion with sales around monthly budget and car models i was interested in, I was directed to a single car which was older than i stated i was after, and was not prepped well at all. Different cars were not recommended or finance options discussed ( like PCP ) to increase choice based on budget and model preferences discussed. The final straw was the APR being much higher than my original purchase and my credit rating is still good if not better than when i bought the first ourchase in 2018. The reason given is that The CarShop calculate APR differently to when they were The Car People?. The monthly cost based on screen price was approx £30 a month excessive to expectation. In my opinion it seems they are lowering screen prices to appear competitive and then have high APR. Overall a very dissapointing experience.

Drove a good distance to purchase a car. Joe one of the managers dealt with me. He was very polite and courteous, and arranged for a test drive of the vehicle. The car was immaculate for me arriving which was excellent.
He explained everything that I needed to know and carried out the transaction seamlessly.
The showroom is immaculate with lots of space and very covid secure. Unfortunately as I drove home the car developed a fault. It turned out to be the egr valve which could not have been forseen on a 15 min test drive, but a long run had exposed it.
I contacted Carshop, and thanks to Carly Riding, another employee there everything was taken care of. They offer a decent warranty, and did not quibble over payment. My car is now fixed and driving great. I would seriously consider buying from them again in the future !!!

I have been really impressed with the Car Shop and felt I should leave a review.
From the beginning the service was great and I never felt under any pressure from the salesman Andy. He was super and couldn't do enough for me - running back and forth for different keys to sit in a variety of cars. He was very honest about the pros and cons of the cars I was looking at which made me feel I could trust his opinion and he wasn't out to sell me the highest priced car.
Once I had decided, I went on a test drive and loved it. The car came with a full year MOT and had just had a service.
On coming back to the Car Shop we then sat down whilst Andy went through the different options available and explained the process. Again there was no pressure and he was very patient.
From there, once all had been accepted, we then went to sign a few documents and arranged to collect the car the next day. The next day we then went back to sign a couple more documents (the finance company/acknowledgment of being offered GAP insurance etc) and went to the collection desks to be processed.
We sat down with Matt who went through setting up our 5 day insurance and taxing the vehicle. He was a lovely guy and answered any questions we had. He went through the documents of the car and handed over the keys.
It did come out at this point that the car didn't have sat nav which I wasn't happy about as I had asked the salesman specifically about it. After a chat with the manager Stuart, the Car Shop actually agreed to book my car in at Mercedes to have it set up for me at their cost. I was blown away by their generosity and really didn't expect them to do it but I was very grateful.
A couple of days later it was booked in at Mercedes and all sorted. They did pick up that the car needed a new battery (probably been stood on the forecourt) but the guy at Mercedes commented on the quality of the car and was really impressed that the Car Shop had gone to the lengths it had to present the car. Other than the battery, it was in tip top condition which put my mind at ease.
The Car Shop again agreed to resolve this for me and I was to able to get a new battery in the following couple of days .
I cannot fault the Car Shop for how they have handled my purchase from beginning to end. Even the couple of things that needed sorting was done quickly and without hesitation. I would definitely recommend to anyone and in fact, my mum has just bought her new car from them too!

After finding the car I’d been looking for months, the initial customer service from Carshop was brilliant.The salesman looked after all our needs and agreed the private number plate would be put on the vehicle before the vehicle was taken away by us . This was also backed up by the business manager that this would be sorted. I arranged with them I would be coming and collecting the vehicle Sunday 11th July and finalizing the paperwork. Once this was done I was directed to the handover section where I explained about the private number plate change over , They refused to carry this out and advised it would be something I would have to arrange myself after taking the vehicle. The only reason I went ahead with the deal was to drive away in my new car with the private number plate on. Very disappointed with the service and the lack of commitment from Carshop to stand by there commitment to me as a customer at the initial part of the sale process. If this is the case they should teach all there staff to be on the same hymn sheet instead of giving false promises. So what should have been great experience, as turned my thoughts of Carshop into being bitter sweet.

I cannot fault the service, particularly on a very busy Saturday. They responded immediately to text messages and allowed us to come in for a treat drive directly. When we arrived, their sellers were accommodating and eager to help. I cannot stress enough what a difference this personal touch makes in their service.
The price and offer make them particularly attractive to buyers.
On the negative side, they could invest on allowing more than 3 cars to be out on a test drive at any time, though I understand this may be related to a recent misfortune and may be improved in the future. We had to wait a good hour before we could go out on a drive.
Their financing is very pricey. 14% APR is standard when BoE is 0.75%. A personal loan might be a better option for many customers.
They do try to sell a £150 "admin service" whereby they wash the car (they do anyway), they transfer the V5 (they have to, anyway), they procure drive away insurance for 5 days (you can sort that yourself very cheaply) and they tax the vehicle (takes you 5' online). You need to ask them to remove it a couple of times in the process, as they almost present it as a standard requirement.

We had a great experience looking for a new (to us) used car. Due to covid restrictions shopping for a car has proven difficult because you dont actually get to see the car up close until you buy it, so can only view online. From the start @David from Carshop Warrington, took on board everything we were looking for and also our budget. Straight away he sent over a number of cars for us to look over which gave us the opportunity to narrow down our search, he then sent over the perfect car for us which was within our budget. He arrange for a video of the car to be sent over to help us get a look of the car in more detail and plenty of spec information and the history of the car was also sent across. Once we agreed on the car, we then spoke with Stephen who went through in detail the next steps and to arrange collection, again Stephen was really helpful, gave us information about our 3 month warranty and also explained about our 14 day cooling off period where because we have bought without seeing the vehicle we get to try it for 14 days and if were not happy we can return back to the Carshop. He also went through add on packages for extended warranty options if we needed. From start to finish the whole process has been a positive experience even when we came to collect the vehicle it was all straight forward and the guy (sorry I didn't get his name) was really helpful and went through the basics of the car to get us started. So all in all we have been happy with the service provided so far so thumbs up from us.

This is a place to go if you know exactly what car you want and what you're prepared to buy and confident as soon as you walk in.
It's like any other car supermarket and the salespeople are under constant pressure to sell cars, but I will say that the female salesperson that we met today was really nice and was really helpful.
But if you're just wanting to look and see what's on offer I feel you'll be pressured, we were asked 5 times if we were ok and being looked after.
But really good choice of cars, some are a bit expensive I thought but still a good choice.

After visiting other car showrooms we decided to visit he Car People in Warrington and were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, no pushy Sales Team, Everyone was very helpful. Once we had decided on a car and whilst all the relevant paperwork was being prepared we were given a guided tour of the Showroom and into all the 'back areas' where all the detailing, repairing, MOT/Servicing and spraying takes place, very interesting and very unexpected.
Brad sorted out all the details for us and he was really professional but with a nice sense of humour and very knowledgeable (as were all the staff we dealt with to be honest). On leaving the showroom my husband commented that it had been a really painless transaction and if/when we decide to look for another car we won't be going anywhere else.

Found the car online on Friday night, phoned and paid a small deposit to hold the car for myself and ready it for test drive.
Upon arrival the vehicle was parked our front waiting for us. We were quickly greeted at the door by a young gent, who advised us on the Covid19 safety procedures. Following this, a gentleman named Tony helped us throughout, he arranged the test drive, took our px valuations and was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Pleasure to deal with. He passed us over to another gent called Steve, he helped us deal with the second half of the deal, again with a fantastic service and that was that. The vehicle was sanitised and given a final detail while we waited and a gent who's name I cant remember in collections (red head maybe?) Sorted out our handover! Quick easy and happy!
The only issue was that the car had a few paint blemishes that I noticed whilst giving it a wash, but it's a used car so what do you expect! Overall exceptional condition.
Priced right, good quality and great sevice. What more do you want!

Bit of a mixed bag but overall happy with the experience. Places like this are there to sell you the finance and accessories and the cars are really secondary to this, hence the low prices, so just have your wits about you and explore all avenues of payment before diving in to a big and expensive mistake. I managed to secure a great rate from my bank before I went to view and test drive the car, which was literally all done in 5 mins just through my banking app! Despite trying, on the day they couldn't get near the same deal with their own finance options and after this I felt a bit of a frosty atmosphere from the salesman which wasn't helped when I also declined all of the extras like car shield and GAP insurance etc. He was still polite though and things went on as normal.
I Was told on the phone previously that there is a £150 admin fee and saw it was added to the price of the car when I was closing the deal. Didn't think much of it until later on that night when I looked up the T&C's on their site and it stated that the admin fee was actually optional, which I was never made aware of. I looked at what it was actually for, which was; sorting the logbook (they have to anyway), 5 days driveaway insurance (my insurance was already set), helping to tax the vehicle (takes 5 mins online) and a re-valet of the vehicle (the car was already immaculate). Tried to ring the Warrington centre the day after but couldn't get through at all and only managed to speak to the salesman after sending him an email asking for a phone call which he rang back half an hour after and removed the admin fee with no issues. Just be aware that this fee is optional and if you don't want or need any of these things you can ask them to remove it.
Made an appointment to pick the car up a couple of days later and did so with no issues despite a bit of a long wait for the handover team, however, there was complimentary coffee and hot drinks and even a children's play area which would have been a nice touch if I had of brought the little one so I wasn't bothered about the wait really. The cars are well priced from what I can see so there are definitely some deals to be had if you do your research beforehand and go in prepared.

I’ve been to the Car shop on two occasions to view 3 different vehicles.
My dealings were with both Chris and Leo.
Chris on the first visit was funny charming but not too pushy as you would expect the stereotypical salesman to be. Even got me a great deal knowing my situation.
I did want to wait for Chris for the second visit but I am glad I didn’t. I was greeted by Leo who dealt with my search in such a great way.
Communication skills were five star! Never once did I feel like he was hiding anything, or wanting the sale (obviously for the commission), his problem solving skills were right up there two as he sat and worked out my issues straight away and even helped me decide on what car was more suitable for me and my needs. Ability to demystify the whole finance situation was great to! Make it clear what was needed, what to expect and not to be too unrealistic.
Pretty great guy who has done nothing but help really and being new-ish to the company, he actually looked like he knew what he was doing which there are some companies *cough* I’ve been to visit before this who had no clue how to sell at all.
Both Chris and Leo are both a credit to the company.
As always you have to put an improvement so I’d suggest finding a way to provide a way to buy a drink. Obviously covid shut the vendors.

Firstly, Zain was brilliant. He was pleasant from the start and had plenty knowledge when to share. He also gave us plenty space to chat when needed. Would be a 5* review if it wasn’t for the below.
As soon as we were passed on to Tarica, the ‘business manager’, things went downhill. She seemed completely disinterested, not even looking at us when leaving her desk after signing for the car.
Then when returning to collect the car, after waiting 15 minutes for our appointment we still hadn’t been seen so had to ask at the desk (again) to be seen. Seemed like we would have been waiting 45 minutes otherwise. Drive away insurance was then forgotten about by the team, had to be mentioned again by us. There was a lot of waiting around despite plenty of members of staff of all levels stood talking to each other at the desk.
Then had to go to the local shop to tax the car, which added more time. However we went with Neil (not 100% sure of name), who was very chatty and very lovely, so managed to salvage what should have been a very special moment of collecting a new car.

Just to update on this. We purchased a car from them as it was best priced in the local area. Collection of the vehicle was seamless. Car was valeted. Took about an hour to complete the handover. Will definitely deal with them again.

We had such a great experience at Car Shop Warrington. After an absolute string of bad luck, no one's fault, we're just cursed, we managed to get everything sorted with car shop Warrington. Sophie and Ross were a pleasure to work with, and Sophie even insisted we gave a test drive just incase there was anything we didn't like with the car. This was great because most car dealerships are just SELL SELL SELL THIS CAR IS PERFECT BUY IT!!!!
In regards to our curse, when we were 5 minutes away from carshop, 10 minutes before our appointment, we ended up in a huge load of traffic that made us 2 hours late. Ross was perfectly accommodating and saw us in between customers so we didn't end up waiting longer for our car, and apologising for our wait despite the fact we were the ones who were late to the appointment.
We're very happy with our little Citroen, and its definitely an upgrade from the ancient tin can we drove there in. Thank you so much Sophie and Ross, and Richard too who valued our car and gave us a good chuckle whilst he was at it!

The employee who dealt with our Handover was Kyle, who was extremely personable and made us feel at ease. There was one negative aspect of our experience - excessive wait times with a lack of information when we arrived for our finalisation and handover. The showroom was very quiet - there were plenty of salespeople wandering around at a loose end but no one to sort out our order and get us on the way! However, the transaction was ultimately hassle free, and we would certainly buy from The Car People again.

However upon collecting my car I was made to wait 25 minutes for a member of sales to come and show me around the car for my hour slot (A slot i was warned not to be late for). When we arrived at The Car People today we were greeted by an advisor who told us to take a look around, take pictures of the qr codes in the front windows and then take them into the car showroom to get the keys. We then walked in the showroom and was met by Chris Atkinson who took the codes straight away, got the keys and took us to see the cars. I went with my mum to purchase a new car, whilst browsing outside I approached Charlotte and picked a couple of cars to test drive. She was patient, friendly and helpful. After picking one of the options I asked if there where any other suggestions, which she come back with and another test drive later, we found a much more suitable car.

Decent experience. 2nd car purchased from them within 6 months. Had not noticed a couple of deep scratches to paint work in test drive. These were not fixed upon highlighting them and was told everything had been done towards reducing them. Also after my 20 min trip home the car battery died however on ringing the showroom they were very quick to support the replacement with a new battery. I bought a car in May from you and within a couple of days the stop start wasn’t working so I booked it in for a diagnostic. After the diagnostic had been done the lad behind the desk said the battery had been ordered and someone would phone when it was in. I have still not had that phone call(2 months later) and I have tried and tried to phone you but can never get through. Then last Wednesday I actually got an answer. She promised someone would be in touch within 24 hours. Guess what? Nothing. When I bought the car it was great. They brought it from another site I test drove it and bought it. No problems. Your aftercare though is non existent. It’s a joke. Can’t get through on the phone no one ever rings back. Also when asking about 2 year RAC cover the same lad shrugged and said he didn’t know how it worked. I have no membership number no phone number so I don’t know what to do if I needed them. Your before care is great 5 stars your aftercare is atrocious and gets no stars

Was clear from the outset that we were not interested, but got a 25 minute lecture on how you are risking life and limb if you dont have Guard X. Every step of the way I said we weren't interested but still got an ear berating about it.

My son was looking for his second car and we had travelled for two hours from mid Wales to another company called Motormill who let us down badly.
We found The Car people by accident and they were great and very professional, not pushy and very helpful.
They stayed after closing time and made sure we had everything.

Beware of admin fees (£150). Nice place, lots of good quality cars. The sales staff were very helpful and showed us a model of car that we'd not considered - which we've now ended up purchasing from somewhere else that doesn't charge admin fees. I fundamentally struggle with car dealers charging £150 to sell a car - it's your job to sell cars! Make the cost of purchasing a car more transparent please.

We recently bought a car from The Car Shop Warrington. Unfortunately there was a recall for the vehicle on the day so we could not driveaway with the car. In addition, there was a delay in getting the car to BMW in time for us to collect the car following week leaving us in a difficult situation. Joe, our salesman with the 'floppy hair', went out of his way to help us and managed to resolve a very stressful situation for us. We adore our car and thank Joe for supporting us!

Collected our new family car today. Great experience on the day we first came to look around. Not hastled in the slightest by pushy salesmen. Had a slight issue yesterday in collection which was not The Car People’s fault but the finance company. However the manager and handover team where really apologetic and tried to help. As an opology they put plenty of fuel in the car 😜.
We will be using them again when needed and would highly recommend.

I bought my Volvo at CarShop Warrington just over a year ago, the service I received was outstanding, yesterday I was back for its first service and all I can say is.....WOW. The service team were on point and welcoming, but it was the attention I received from The sales team during my visit, that really made my day. I recently visited Carshop Warrington on Sunday for a quick look around before going home and discussing options with my partner. On arrival I was greeted by a smiling and generally lovely lad who was all to happy to help and not remotely pushy. After being given the tour of all the cars Liam left me to look round often checking up on me with refreshments and answers to all my questions. I was surprised to hear he hasn’t been at the carshop for long. He’s an absolute asset. I will be back to see Liam. I recommend you ask for Liam if you find yourself browsing for cars at the Warrington store.
