Recently hired a van, friendly polite and professional staff, lovely vehicle very clean and thorough inspection before and after hire. Large selection of new vehicles. Value for money and all round great service. Would recommend to anyone. Only downside was no on site parking to leave my car during hire time but wasnt a problem to use local public transport as good location and easy to get to.

Although ABC Van Hire were the cheapest from my search of the local companies, the quality of the service was top notch. The van was spotless and the latest version of the Ford transit. The staff were also friendly and extremely helpful. I have no qualms about giving them a 5 star rating.

What's good guys, I have to say this is an easy 5 Stars for ABC, a great example of business done very well. My first call to get a quote was very easy, the attendant was aware of their inventory and prices. I got a decent quote, (factor in milage, they charge 20p per mile after 100 miles then its an okay quote). Booking was also very easy, I was told what to bring on the day (drivers licence, proof of address, debit card) and I paid the deposit. On the day, I will say finding the park could have been easier with better signage, also the reception is a brown and black cabin which also has no signs on it. However when I got in Matt at reception gave great service, great communication and was very very efficient. I signed all the appropriate paperwork and my short wheel base van was waiting for me outside. The van was clean (this may be a running theme, but I think whatever service you offer cleanliness should be a given. I was walked through the ins and out of the van and expected to bring it back as is. I did think that I would struggle driving the diesel vw van but after 5mins I was fully accustomed. The van was very easy to drive, kitted with assist cruise control with stop and go was very helpful. Returning the van was also a very easy process, I filled up the tank, clean it up, we took a walk around the van to check for any bumps or damage and 5 minutes later I was on my way. Received my deposit back less the excess milage costs the following day. Great service, No complaints.

Mercedes van with 6k on the clock, £60 for the a 24 hour overnight hire. Fantastic price. Better still all of the staff were really helpful. I was a few minutes late back so didn't have time to refill, so the guys said pop round the corner to fill up to avoid a fine. Great van, great price, great people; couldn't recommend highly enough.

Hired a short wheel base van from ABC recently. I called first with preliminary questions which were answered quickly & clearly, & the paperwork & collection of the van was efficient & easy. I was given a new VW van which was easy to drive, much like my Skoda Octavia car, but with all the newest features, like radio with bluetooth etc, & proximity warnings, which was very useful. Oh, yes, the price was also good, especially for a new vehicle, & friendly, happy, quick service from the staff there. Would go straight to ABC next time I need a hire van.

Excellent customer service and the staff were some of the most genuine people we have met. The van was a brand new and immaculate VW transporter and had all the mod cons. To top it off it is also the cheapest van hire we could find. An all round 5 star operation without a shadow of a doubt.

Good custom service from the person on reception. We moved a car engine which left some oil marks on the van floor so. Initially they wanted the whole deposit however after few back and forth emails we reached a middle point and then gave half of the money back (£125). Everything apart from that was good. Easy to book and return.

Awesome service. First time hiring a van and needed it to help some friends relocate to Yate, when I first rang Matt was awesome and answered all my questions, when I got there on the day of pick up Ben was very upfront. He knew every mark on the vans, even let me pick out a couple and if any new marks were found including on the inside I would loose my security deposit. I appreciated the honesty and we (my friends and I) cushioned all the interior with duvets and towels and the steps too. Voila no marks. Only took a few extra minutes to be careful! I was able to have a nice chat and joke around with both Matt and Ben and drop off and collection. Would recommend and would use again!

Excellent service from ABC Van Hire. The only negative I have to comment on is not really to do with the hire itself, but the dog that's kept on the premises. When I asked the 'security' man why the dog had to be tied so tightly so she couldn't even lie down, he just replied that she was alright. No water in sight and just sat out in all weathers. Not acceptable in my eyes and it upset me and for that reason I will not return.

Availability was good, pricing was competitive, and they are pragmatic with the hire/collection time - I only wanted it for Saturday and Sunday, but they let me collect last thing on a Friday as it was there waiting, and drop it back first thing Monday! Had a few vans off these guys over the years and never had a problem. This year however when I rang to book a van I learned the yard had moved. Tidy yard but the offices are 2 old lorry containers . I picked up a Luton VW van did the normal checks including noticing chips in the windscreen. On my travels one of these chips cracked and when I returned it they wanted to charge me an extra £120. I argued the screen was already chipped and was going to crack at some point so they reduced the Extra cost to £60 . I feel robbed. My advice to Everyone is to turn up early and Don't let them run around the van at speed to check off the Already there Damage. Maybe take some windowlene and highlight every chip and take a photo so as you don't get stung like me.
