Had to hire a car following my own breaking down & needing repair. Staff were polite & helpful especially as I was ringing to renew the hire every couple of weeks until my car was repaired. Hire costs were reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

I have been using Thrifty Derby for about 6 weeks, my company gives us the choice who we wish to use to supply hire cars. Having used Avis for a while, disappointed, I tried Thrifty in Derby, so wish i had done this a year ago, all brand new cars, customers service is excellent, never have any problems. As far as I am concerned, Thrifty Car And Van Hire Derby are "kings of the roads". The company is long-established and has very competitive prices, as well as being based throughout the UK. Having dealt with there manager Phil Mather and his excellent team I find it refreshing that there 'No Problem To Small' approach to any of my request is fantastic to see, Having dealt with most of the car hire firms in Derby who quite frankly offer you basic model cars at high prices with often hidden charges that they fail to inform you on and also there 'over promise under deliver attitude in most cases left me feeling weary, However with Phil it has been a joy knowing that i am in safe hands with what he says and what he delivers approach to any questions i have. Actions really do speak louder than words, Well Done Phil and Team a great ambassador for all to see, I would recommend this great team to anybody !!!

Fantastic service, very friendly staff and a great car. They were competitive on price and one of only a very few hire companies who would let us drive an off roader at 25 (all the others demanded all drivers be at least 30 years old).
