Reviews of Onto

I really love the concept which has truly been convenient for me. I pay £389 per month for my Renault Zoe and everything is included in that one price: insurance; tax; charging; breakdown cover; servicing;24/7 customer service! The cars are automatic, plus you don't pay congestion charge or ULEZ! I've had the car 7 months now and have had no issues. Once you know where your charging points are (the onto app will locate these for you and tell you which ones are available) you can just plug in and leave the car to charge, run some errands or grab a meal, come back and you're good to go. If you're going to try it out then you can use my referral code: 35c4c for £50 off your first month. You can then refer people with your own code and get money off your monthly subscriptions! Give it a go and if it's not for you, just give it back. Happy driving :)

I've been using Onto since May 2021 and I honestly can't fault it. New car, automatic and smooth drive; insurance, charging, breakdown, congestion charge all covered in the monthly cost! I would definitely recommend - you can use my referral code: 35c4c , to get £50 off your first month! You can then refer others and get 50 off your monthly subscriptions. I've been doing it and it really helps to reduce the monthly costs. Everyone wins :)

Fantastic Experience USE CODE 5f65a for £50 OFF. Easy set up and within a couple of weeks had a Peugeot E-2008 delivered. No credit checks. They just check where you live and that you have a valid license to make sure you will be accepted for their insurance

I ordered a very smart Citroen e-C4. Very pleased the quality of service and the car I chose. I wanted to start driving electric, and looking at leasing vs subscription, I felt it was a better option for me to go down the subscription route with on.to. No large deposit, no insurance costs, they pay for the electric charging and for those of us in London, no congestion charge!
A quick heads up, if they don't have stock of your car when you go to reserve, keep checking back, they get random cars popping up throughout the day, even easier if you're not too fussy about colour, which I'm not. I plan on maybe getting another car from them in a few months.

I paid additional for reduced excess to £350 which according to their policy also waivers windercreen repair up to £1000 ...however I got a windscreen chip they withdrew £500 out my account. I have chased for 7 days I called everyday and emailed everyday but no one knew what the policy is regarding the repair...one girl seemed to think they withdraw the money then reimburse you back after the repair! The next couldn’t understand why it was £350 that was withdrawn, the next chap claimed It was deliberate damage and I would have to pay for repair...then the best bit I managed to speak to the same girl I spoke to the first time and she tried to convince me that all windscreen excess is £500!!! When I quizzed her on appendix 4 of the policy...which states you are covered for windscreen repair out to £1000....she then read it and agreed with me! She promsied to call back but never did! Finally spoke to someone after day 8 and without any apology I got a refund day 9 for the £500. What a farse!!
Customer service needs to be improved!

I wanted a car ahead of Christmas & went for the Zoe GT as my first electric car. Why? I wanted to see how it was to drive and the practicalities of charging up. I’m zone 2 London - Islington/Hackney and have found it easy finding rapid charging ports, fully charged in less than 90 mins. Not efficient in the cold weather but don’t let that put you off.
Very happy that Onto delivered a day early on special request! So far no problems, happy with service, got a brand new car and only £9.99 for my partner to be added as a driver on the insurance too. Looking forward to trying out a bigger vehicle in the coming months.
** For £50 off here’s a referral code to use: 3c137 **
Many thanks
MARCH 2021 UPDATE: I've held onto the Zoe now for the 3rd month as it's such a lovely lil car for the city. The boot space is awesome, seats fold down, but also comfortable for backseat passengers on short journeys. It has 5 doors which is super useful. Onto have joined the SHELL network for chargers which gives even more options for finding rapid chargers (90 mins max for a full charge!). I've also discovered features such as cruise control which regulates power usage and gives even more miles. Last week I was given a Jaguar E Pace for 2 days which was a sexy beast of a car, but quite honestly I was happy to get behind the wheel of the my trusty little Zoe. I forgot how peaceful it is to drive an electric car. Hope this review helps you and please feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you. *** Referral code for £50 off: 3c137 ***
MAY UPDATE: I still have the Zoe. I managed a London to Cardiff drive on a full charge! Much better performance in warmer weather. How will I ever give her up?

Our experience of Onto has been great. We've had no problems with the e208 but when I've had questions about other stuff they've been super helpful.

Recently obtained a Hyundai Kona from Onto and I’m very pleased with the service so far. Delivery was trakable and exactly on time, none of the problems some other reviewers seem to mention here. The car didn’t come with a physical key but a quick call to Onto and I’ve been assured this is in the post to me. Give them a try, I can recommend the service.

I hired a car from On.to the last September, and I was at first pleased with it. However, the fact that you need to use the app every time to access the vehicle isn't that convenient.
Like many other users during the hire, I experienced three tires punctures; this is particularly annoying as you have to go with the car to the repair centre -as the vehicle can only be operated using the app on your phone- or wait for an onsite repair.
I experienced both; I waited for the recovery vehicle to come to collect the car, I went to the repair centre, I had to wait for nearly 2 hours for them to replace the tyre. On the two other occasions, I requested for them to send a mobile repair to my home. Both events took a very long time to have the car repaired; the second time, particularly, it took nearly a week, which means you are paying for a vehicle you can't use.
This was the main reason for me to decide to cancel my subscription.
I requested a pick up for the car on a Friday; I received a call from the On.to team saying that they could only arrange for a pickup for the following Monday, but this wouldn't have cost me anything. I insisted that Monday was not an easy alternative for me but had to agree on that date for the pickup.
As I thought the pickup day was the actual end day of the contract on Friday morning, I took the car; I had no issues accessing the vehicle.
Around lunchtime, when I returned to the car, I couldn't open it. So I called the helpline, and someone opened the car for me remotely, suggesting that there might have been a technical issue with the vehicle.
Ten minutes later, the same issue occurred; this time, I was transferred to the main office, and I spoke to a lady who told me that my contract had expired and that I wasn't covered by the insurance anymore.
I mentioned that the car was parked in an area where I couldn't leave it.
I also mentioned that I wasn't comfortable driving a vehicle not being covered by the insurance as that I wasn't notified about any of this.
I believe the person on the other side of the phone was also trying to resolve the situation, but she wasn't the most helpful person I have spoken to.
I ended up agreeing to drive the car back to my car park.
As a final touch on Monday, I was given a window for the pickup between 9 am and 1 pm. Of course, they didn't show up within that window, and I had to reschedule most of my afternoon meetings.
I wouldn't recommend ONTO.

This is a fantastic way to try and drive an electric car. Quick and easy to join and really good prices for what you get: an all inclusive package for a monthly payment, no deposit or hidden charges. My previous petrol car broke down recently and I was looking for another when I found EVezy online. I decided to try and I am very happy with my choice! If prices too high for you, here is a code to give you £50 off your first month: 43063. Can be used by several new customers so feel free to use and get your discount. Don't hesitate and try them, you have nothing to loose: if not happy you can cancel after the first month. Well done EVezy, a very dedicated team and a great concept. Happy driving!

I'm not sure the app is fully there. The app does have it moments and it does take alot of refreshing, turning the Bluetooth on and off. I have been stuck at a charging point for over half an hour to hour at a time trying to get the app to connect to the car. Customer Services will never give an apology no matter how long you are stuck there and if the app doesn't work. Most weeks it works perfectly. However if you're in a hurry or if there's an emergency and you get stuck. That's it you will have to wait!Even if you call customer services they will go through their troubleshooting which is never that quick. It's a good concept but I prefer having a key or fob. I have had the car for over 8 months. They were the cheapest subscription company around at the time. Now they've put the prices up but haven't added any new cars to their range.

Highly Recommended. I've been driving the Hyundai Ionic (electric) and it's a really nice car. All the info from EVezy was helpful and although I initially didn't realise I had to connect the App to the car each time I locked / unlocked the car, after that all was plain sailing! The before / after customer service has been great. Thanks.

I got my I3 yesterday. Very impressed so far. Was very clean 8000 miles on the clock. One thing I don't understand is why on earth we don't get a key. What if phone dies and you in the middle of no where. I mean its all cool using your phone and all but sometimes the old ways are the best. Just saying. Also no park assist on the models Evezy provide. Why!!

Excellent customer service by Patricia. A very easy way to start driving a new ev car. I have been using my Renault Zoe for just over a month and really enjoying this new experience. Well done to team EVezy.

Before you sign up with Evezy......use this code and get £50 OFF your first month if you decide to get one of their cars: 0f73f
Evezy have come up with a great way of having a car in 2019. It's the subscription model rather than leasing or owning. Pick it up and put it down style of having a car.
I have struggled like hell to sell my diesel car and lost thousands. I refuse to do it again and so have signed up with Evezy and their month by month payment model.
Highly recommended.

Top service and car. Purrs like a kitten and I don't have to worry about insurance or maintenance

EVezy's electric car subscriptions are the future of car travel. The Renault Zoe I subscribed to has saved me a huge amount in petrol costs, insurance and repair costs. I decided to go with EVezy because of their price and flexibility. I love that in a few months time I could change to a different electric car and it's all on a rolling monthly contract.

Can't get better than this.. No hidden charges at all... Got brand new car also. I wonder why more than do not do this... Just keep £1k in your own bank should you have a accident for excess... which you will also get back if not your fault.
