I had read some poor reviews about Thrifty so I was a bit concerned. i chose them based on a good price. the whole experience was very positive. I arranged to pick the car up a day early - no props. the person dealing with pick-up was very courteous and friendly and efficient. The car was great for the two weeks and drop off was smooth and straightforward. I will definitely use Thrifty again.

Polite and friendly staff on pick up and efficient on return of our car, can't fault them. I was fortunate enough to get a free upgrade, as the car I'd booked was not available at the time of my collection. I opted for the extra cover against accidental damage, for peace of mind. Great experience renting from Thrifty in Greenwich. The young guy with the beard on reception was very helpful and friendly and I experienced nothing but top notch service throughout. I even called them a few times in the week to check details about paperwork etc and everytime I called the phone was answered promptly and my question was answered with courtesy. The branch was also easy to get to via bus from north Greenwich station. Overall I was impressed by this branch and would happily recommend them to anyone.

I am a regular customer. The cars are new and nice to drive, and staff are polite and very friendly. Last time we were looked after by Rashid, who did great. The waiting time can be frustrating when it's busy, and it's a shame that the opening hours are not a bit longer. Overall they are pretty good .

Fantastic service. The staff here are friendly and made pickup and return very easy. The car I was given was brand new, it had about 9 miles on the clock and was absolutely immaculate. Return was equally easy, despite other difficult festive customers (shame some people have no patience!) Great experience, will hire from here again.

I was warey of using this place due to bad reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful and the vehicles are top! I was served quickly but it took along time to complete. Michael was excellent and he offered me a free upgrade as he understood it took longer than normal. I walked out with a brand new Golf. It was very busy, there always seemed to be a queqe, but staff were trying to get through people as quickly as possible. I'd probably come back a again, as the staff were very helpful, even in very busy circumstances.

Apart from the incorrect advise on opening hours on bank holidays which left me sitting around for an hour, service was great. Clear advice on hire fees and other insurance services they offer. Vehicle was perfect for requirement and would recommend Thrifty Greenwich for car rentals.

They tried charging my friend over £100 for curbing the wheel. However my friend did not damage the alloys as he never parked the car next to pavements to be able to. Upon taking it up with management an investigation was taken place and it was found that the previous driver had curbed the alloys but due to the staff negligence and the company's lack of organisation this was not documented properly thus almost costing my friend what he paid to hire the car. Is this a honest mistake or a scam to make money?

I have read a lot of negative reviews but I must admit I have had nothing but outstanding service from the guys at Greenwich. I have hired 3 times in the past year, I picked my holiday car up from them today and I got excellent service from Mike he went above and beyond and he made an old lady very happy thank you.

Slightly expensive compared to other rental company's in East London but Thrifty have the best and newest cars. Also Thrifty customer service is noticeably by far the best.

They are usually quick and efficient and the 5th star would be never having to wait. I love that I don't need a dvla number in advance either. Cheapest around.
