Brilliant service from a family run business. The team are very friendly and helpful. They suggested I had the van from 10:00 to 10:00 the next day instead of 10:00 to 13:00 the next day to save on a days worth of fees - it is nice to have a business that wants the best price for you. The vans are in a very good condition, I highly recommend.

The company puts you at ease from the outset. It was straight forward to hire a LWB van and bring back. It could not have been easier or less stressful.

Great van hire place! Genuine people who aren't there to upsell to you and make you feel confident taking a vehicle if it's your first time hire. It's a bonus that they were the cheapest in Plymouth!

my dad rented a van here recently and suffered a stroke leaving him unable to remember where the van was parked for a while. these guys were really understanding and were more concerned about my dad than the van. im sure if he had hired from one of the better know companies they would have been more concerned about the van! i recommend this company to everyone! really professional yet personal service and excellent price too. thanks again for your help and understanding

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the excellent caring staff at Practical Van hire at Plympton. We were moving and had been badly let down by a transport company. The staff were amazing in helping us with practical solutions and in the middle of it I had a diabetic hypo!! They were caring and calm and nothing was too much trouble! The vans were ideal and the staff knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this amazing branch of this company.

So, I have been using larger firms and am quite frankly very disappointed. I used Practical in Plimpton ( a family run franchise) for the first time in December 2017, and tbh will not use any other Plymouth van hire company. The level of customer service and the prices are second to none. Plus, they do excellent storage deals. I highly recommend anyone to try this firm, you will be pleasantly surprised. AAA+++

Out of the 5 places I rang for van hire, this was the cheapest. The van wasn't the newest but had no problems with it. I did not damage the van so I can not comment on service if something goes wrong. I would use them again.
