No issues what so ever. Was met at the ferry terminal to collect the keys. Just had to fill in a couple forms which didn’t take long. The car was just what was needed and very fuel efficient. Car was clean. Very easy process from start to finish. Would recommend.

Great service. They provide shuttle service between the airport and the car rental: they will wait for you at the airport, you just have to give them your flight number. You can leave the car at the airport directly which is very convenient. Super fast car pick up and drop off. Friendly staff. Clean cars in excellent condition.

We tried before travelling to Shetland from Australia to hire a car, however there was no cars to be found. John went out of his way to find us a car, we are forever greatful. Have been to Shetland four times already, and always hired a car from Bolts. About to make another booking. Top people, with very clean and tidy cars. It isn't that you can't fault them - but you can't - it's just that it would never occur to you. They are just great people to deal with!

Hiring a car is pretty much always somewhat anxiety inducing, but Bolt's definitely made it a smooth and easy experience, with the addition of great customer service. They don't have an office at the airport so they come pick you up and drive you to their office just outside the airport. When you return your car, you just park it near the place they picked you up. Pretty painless. We had forgotten something in the car and the poor Bolt's employee had to drive back to the office to get the keys and get us into the car. She did it without making us feel that we were bothering her, although clearly it must have been annoying for her. It meant so much to us that she just helped without making a big deal out of it and we'll definitely rent from Bolt's again next time.

(Translated) The service given to us was brilliant. When we arrived in Sumburgh, we immediately realized that to get around the island for a few days you can't do it by bus but you have to book a car. The office is located inside the airport but to make a reservation you must first call another office. But no problem, you immediately got a price and the contract was made in a few moments by those in the office at the airport. Great explanations. The car had no problem, we were able to visit from the southernmost point to the northernmost point of Shetland. Excellent, kind, smiling and helpful staff. (Original) Il servizio datoci è stato brillante. Arrivati a Sumburgh ci siamo resi subito conto che per girare pochi giorni l'isola non lo si può fare in autobus ma bisogna prenotare una macchina. L'ufficio si trova dentro l'aereoporto ma per fare la prenotazione si deve prima chiamare un altro ufficio. Ma nessun problema si ha subito un prezzo ed il contratto é stato fatto in pochi istanti da chi è in ufficio in aereoporto. Ottime spiegazioni. La macchina non ha avuto nessun problema, abbiamo potuto visitare dal punto più a sud al punto più a nord delle Shetland. Personale ottimo, gentile, sorridente e disponibile.
