This kind of customer service is exactly how it should be buying a Jag. Phenomenal service, extremely knowledgeable sales team (in particular Rory Staunton). We shopped at multiple garages and Jardine Reading was head and shoulders above the rest. They were so good we even travelled 90 mins from where we lived and even paid slightly more each month because we were that happy and believed they deserved the business! Honestly couldn’t recommend this dealership more!

I currently own a Range Rover Sport and looked at my settlement figure as I was looking to change vehicles, more than likely to a different manufacturer.
Within an hour of checking my settlement figure, I received a call asking if everything was ok and asking what my plans were - off the back of this call I was advised someone from Reading JLR would call me to see if they could assist.
Shortly after this I was contacted my Stuart Nicks who took my requirements and by the late afternoon I had been emailed a quote and details of a potential new purchase.
Having changed what style of vehicle I wanted to proceed with, Stuart the got a revised quote and spec sheet sent through and I have reserved the vehicle with collection pending.
Both Stuart and Chloe have been fantastic, great communication, extremely responsive and efficient.
Stuart also ensured that I did not feel pressured at any point. They are both a real asset to the JLR Reading branch.
Having not had the best customer service from other brands within the area, JLR Reading has once again proven itself and stands out from other local options.

I found the experience good, Lancaster are taking solid covid precautions, this did initially worry me a bit prior to visiting for the Car Service - but was fine and well managed.

The booking was pretty painless, to be fair. I arrived and was greeted by smiling chaps. However, the young lady booking me in was pretty surly.
The service and MOT was completed promptly but they declared (when I arrived) that they didn't have the facility to wash cars. VERY disappointed at that, I must say. Other car washes have re-opened but they 'don't have the facility'?!?!
On collection, the chaps were chirpy as ever and even the young lady's mood had lifted. In and out, quickly and safely.

My only issue (not with the people I encountered!) is that for a car that is only a year old, to have issues with tracking, and to be told that as the wheels are scuffed, I had to pay for alignment seems like a company desperate to seek out opportunities to drive revenue, regardless of the customer experience.

Most pleasantly surprised with the whole experience of purchasing a used car from this location although I'm sure the prospect of driving away in this particular model caused the whole experience to be viewed through rose tinted glasses.
I was dealt with by one person, Stuart, through the entire process. There was no, being handed over to X for paperwork once the commitment was made. From initial phone enquiry to driving away, it was a pleasant experience throughout and it seemed, nothing could be, or would be too much trouble.
Despite a massive amount of activity on the whole, sprawling site, everyone was friendly, helpful and polite. So yes, I would recommend this company.
One small negative (no-one's perfect). The offer of Lancaster's 7-day cover was rejected by their insurer due to the car not having a tracker fitted. Luckily, I'd already received a number of quotes in preparation so was covered after a quick call.

The site (and services housing) is undergoing considerable re-generation work which is creating a notable amount of disruption for the booking and execution of servicing vehicles.
My initial booking was delayed by three weeks and on the day they did not manage to get around to dealing with the car until late in the evening which meant it was to be kept overnight.
Although this created additional challenges for me personally the garage (and particularly Roy, the service manager looking after me) were as flexible and helpful as possible under what is challenging working conditions for them (to maintain levels of excellence expected). His and the garage's efforts to assist were much appreciated.
The drive through service concept is a good one and improves the customer experience although this particular site could do with some form of reception/receiving area once through the door. That said, the two individuals allocated on the day to manage this were doing a great job.
The one final point to note. I received a letter of apology for the delay (from the first scheduled date/time) with a gesture of discount on products or service due to the disruption. This was a welcome gesture, As i purchased the service plan up front and don't really want or need a Land Rover T-shirt (as an example), this gesture, although welcome, proved somewhat irrelevant.

The new service reception arrangements in the new building are a vast improvement over the old arrangements in which there never seemed to be enough staff and required lots of waiting around. Now there seem to be ample staff and little waiting. The drive in is really good and my courtesy car was ready and waiting for me. Very impressive!

I had been booked in, with a loan car following the diagnosis of an additional fault from the one that was previously fixed. Comparing the purchase of this F type SVR with my last car, a DB9 Volante from Park Lane AM, this was so much better. The lovely touches that made it special, the flowers, the cake, the key box "reveal" - everything was very well done.
The car was perfect when I collected it, even if the weather wasn't. Everything had been done and it was pristine. I cannot recommend both Alastair and Lancaster highly enough. The general staff in the dealership and the facilities are world class. Now that I live in Germany during the week I can truly say that. Well done.

My car was placed in Lancaster Jaguar Reading by another outlet in the trade and area (Reading). They had attempted to carry out work on my vehicle as part of a warranty funded service after I bought my Jaguar XF from their group. They had created problems and in trying to resolve them created even more. In the end, they put my car in Lancaster Jaguar Reading and handed the relationship over to me to deal with Jaguar. Despite these difficult circumstances and the fact that Jaguar had to undertake a lot of corrective work to bring my vehicle back to Jaguar standards, they still managed to emerge as a highly professional, reliable and trustworthy establishment.
I mainly dealt with Matthew. He proved that he is highly efficient and professional at every stage and his communication skills are exemplary. Whenever he said he would do something he did it. He managed to engage with the previous outlet and to turn the situation around. The outcome was that I had to pay Jaguar for their work and take legal action against the original outlet (not Jaguar). In the future, I will only deal with Jaguar. Matthew has single handily ensured that a difficult situation was turned around and my car was returned to me in prime condition. He is an asset to the organisation.

My evoque is low mileage a 63 plate, so is out of warranty, however Landrover picked up 75% of the repair cost because they felt this particular fault was unacceptable in a car of this age and mileage, I didn't even ask if that was possible, so I'm extremely chuffed, and tweeted to say so. It's that type of experience and gesture that makes my husband I big brand fans and means we'll buy again.

My car was booked in well in advance of the date for the service. It was duly collected from Binfield Heath and returned there after the service. I was sent a very helpful video which showed a screw in the rear passenger side tyre and a deep cut to the core in the rear tyre on the driver's side. This video also showed cleared the readings measuring the tread depth of each tyre.

The secon had just started and was not particularly competent, with the result that tha car took 10 days after delivery to you before I could receive it. The third salesman Anosh was competent, helpfuland knowledgeable, but unfortunately went on holiday straight after delivery leaving my follow up questionsunanswered. Why did the email not bounce to a (competent) colleague.
By the way, your telephones are frequently not answered or answered after a long delay.

The new service area is very nice and staff are very friendly and helpful. The waiting area is comfortable and you are provided with a great variety of teas and coffee, juices etc, fruit and pastries. The drive in service saves time.
