Saffron's craftsmanship and dedication to custom handbuilt bicycles is second to none. It's an exciting process bringing your dream bike to reality and having Matthew's expertise makes it go beyond expectations.

I should of done this sooner, however coming up to almost a year since I picked up my very own Saffron Frame Works I can now give my honest review. ITS AMAZING!!! I enjoyed the process from start to finish. From going to meet Matt and selecting my tubes, by deciding on the feel and characteristics of the ride, deciding on the paint (shout out to Phil Ashcroft and Cole Coatings, epic job!) and finally collecting my bike. It took me two years to decide on a frame builder, going to different workshops and talks. Matt is the most impressive and knowledgeable frame builder I have had the pleasure of working with and the finished product speaks for its self. I genuinely get stopped on rides to talk about it. I work in the bicycle trade and had many mainstream and bespoke brands to choose from. Saffron is the best. My GF is expecting hers too... Thank you Matt and everyone involved. Rob Oades

While I ultimately didn't buy a bike due to a blown boiler, i was expertly lead by the guys at the Saffron Frameworks through the whole process. we had a couple of informal chats , regarding what I wanted from the bike, eg, from commuting . off roading. and then levels then it was on to the more technical aspects, and the actual process was explained. The frame prices seemed very reasonable considering the expected lifetime. personally once i can afford it again, I'll definitely be contacting them about a custom frame bike...
