The Handy Squad are amazing. I had hired them a few times no and they have never let me down. Rather than hiring a stranger and being worried about who will turn up, I can trust the Handy Squad Team. I recently hired them to undertake half a day of odd jobs. The guy turned up on time, was polite, helpful, skilled and cleaned up after each job. They also do plumbing, electrics and more so make sure you book the Handy Squad for your jobs. Excellent experience with the whole team at Handy Squad - thus far they've sent round Richard to install picture hanging rails and Russell to make-good some holes in the walls. I found Handy Squad on google after some poor experiences trying to arrange an electrician through mybuilder and Pimlico, and from start to finish they have been excellent. They squeezed me in for a virtual tour of my works really quickly, I got a detailed quote, great communication around booking from Lucie and James did an excellent job on the socket moves and new installs that I needed. I was surprised at how tidy it was all during and after the job as plasterboard is messy and the job was fiddly. This is a really good company.

For days we were fighting with some super stubborn screws that were supporting most likely 30 years old shelves on our balcony. We tried everything we could think of and when finally we were ready to surrender we found The Handy Squad. I am fed up of lousy tradesmen in London but had a great experience with Handy Squad. First comment - they are honest. I clearly knew all prices before anything got done. Owners are educated guys, not cowboys. They genuinely seem to care. Second comment - they are worth it. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. But the guys who came to my house on several occasions (Tomasz, builder type, Charlie plumber, James, electrician) all clearly knew what they were doing and are proper tradesmen who got the work done quickly. My first experience with the Handy Squad has been great. Charlie, my Handy Squad, Handy Man was just fantastic. He was early (bonus one), he was friendly and professional, he was quick (which was great as I had been quoted 1.5-2 hours and he was done in just under an hour, making it cheaper for me), he was tidy and nothing was too much trouble… I’m so pleased I cam across the Handy Squad – my bed was dismantled and my new one assembled without me having to think about it, which is great as I wouldn’t have known where to start!

I find the Handy Squad super organised and honest - in fact - the last time I hired them, after coming out to assess the job, rather than just take it, they recommended that I didn't do it and that it would be cheaper to do it in another way. This honesty is refreshing and to be applauded. I explained I needed a quick fix as I was leaving the country and they were happy to oblige. Good value as they'll come out for a half hour, whereas a lot of Handy Man services are minimum one hour slots. We have a lot of time for The Handy Squad and recommend it happily.

Removing heavy electric fan with lights from 11ft 6" ceiling. James tackled this difficult job on his own cheerfully and without complaint. He then installed a new light fitting and also installed another in the next room. All in an hour. Efficient and competent. I used Handy Squad many times as a Property Manager as they were so reliable but this was the first time I needed help at home.

Our handyman (Radek) managed to move the boxes and open the door without any intrusive / destructive method. On one occasion when I used them the necessary repair was so trivial (what can I say, I'm a duche bag) they didn't even have the heart to charge me. Try finding that experience with Pimlico Plumbers.
