Love the huge variety of food here, especially for veggies. They make the best coffees and the special occasion boxes like those for Valentines Day are lovely. Would love to try the Afternoon Tea! I always find the staff chatty and friendly and they put so much effort into the decor it's brilliant! X

My mom and I were visiting Great Barford from Arizona and really loved this place. Staff was friendly and attentive, food was delicious, and the latte was especially good. I also appreciated the vegan alternatives that were available.

Have been here on many many occasions! Have to say never been disappointed! Afternoon tea is delicious with a lovely variety of sandwiches, savoy treats, cakes and outstanding coffee. Always has a fab selection of cakes all home made yummy! Current addition is the delicious iced coffee and smoothies! My son had a milkshake there and it was yummy yummy in his tummy 👌🏼

Absolutely can not recommend this gorgeous cafe enough!! Run by the loveliest, most friendly and most welcome long people ive ever come across!! The food is incredibly delicious and tastes amazing- and the millionaires shortbread… oh you must try it! It’s nice to have a local cafe within the village now and such a good one too!!! If your ever stuck with were to go, this is definitely the place.. can’t fault it at all! Food and drinks are all freshly made, wide range of choice and gluten free foods too- they really do cater for all!! Thank you so much for the lovely and friendly service, I’ll be returning soon!!!

Suspendisse is a lovely little coffee shop. The food is always fresh and hot, and the menu is large and varied. The service is polite, friendly and professional. There's a great selection of homemade cakes too. It's also really good value for money, especially the full breakfast! I really enjoy my visits there.

This place provides outside catering for events.. We went there to sample their afternoon tea for upcoming wedding.. My first thought on entering was WOW...!! Even though it looked busy they had reserved a table with an 'afternoon tea' set up.. Everything was perfect, great food.. Booked for April..

Recently went in on a Monday for a 5 item breakfast, greeted by friendly staff. Table was clean. I opted to try the vegetarian sausage which was nice alternative to meat. Loads of beans which was great. Coffee is locally sourced and tasted great. Will return soon 😊

Quite possibly the best value and tastist breakfast in bedfordshire. Staff and Owner are excellent hosts. Everything cooked fresh. As such its not fast food but the best food. Always piping hot. They also do takeway, which so well wrapped that still hot when get it home. This is now our go to coffee shop.

Visited here today, excellent chicken, sweetcorn and mayo baguette (they kindly wrapped up half of it as I couldn't eat it all), the fresh orange juice was really delicious. Helpful staff and even moved a chair so I could sit at the table in my wheelchair. This is a great wheelchair accessible cafe to visit 😊

Had another fabulous lunch here today at this lovely coffee shop in Great Barford, it always serves lovely food and has friendly staff. Also my partner who is Gluten free and suffers with Coeliac disease find they are always obliging and very helpful as not many places cater for food intolerance sufferers so THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for EVERYTHING. Visited here recently with my mum & 2 boys for lunch, my mum & I had jacket potato with vegan chilli, it was hot, fresh & very tasty! My boys had a toastie & a sandwich which also went down very well. Presentation was also really good. Nice atmosphere, friendly welcome and a very nice choice of food & drinks. There are smoothies & milkshakes on top of a varied choice of teas & coffees. Waitress very friendly, staff generally seemed really nice..good quality fresh food & great value..what more could you ask for?!

Amazing breakfasts, we had breakfast deliveries throughout lockdown which we looked forward to every weekend. The shop is in a great location and perfect to pop in for a coffee after the school run. The staff are lovely too

Barford cried out for a good Cafe and Suspendisse stepped up! Wonderful to have a great Cafe in the village, with good food, cakes, and service. Their afternoon teas must be sampled, fantastic! Innovative with their brunch and picnic boxes, the lunch boxes they offered during lockdown were like Red Cross food parcels of mid week joy amongst the lockdown tedium, thank you! They battled through the lockdown with a delivery service when they were due to have opened, but now they are, so give them a visit, keep them in the village, you won’t be disappointed!

Suspendisse Catering provided us afternoon tea for 17 people on New Years Day. The fact that they delivered amazing food on New Years Day should be 5* on its own but the food was also delicious with everyone saying how good it was including the scones and cake. Second time using suspendisse catering. Food is great, it's good value and customer service is brilliant. We normally use when having guests round and one of those is coeliac and it's so good to know we can use suspendisse knowing that person can enjoy their food and not worry about being ill the next day. Its labelled clearly and presented well. We will definitely try use the new shop as well.thanks for the great service!!

We used Suspendisse to provide Canapés for my husband’s birthday party . They were an excellent team- great communication, professional yet fun too The canapés were delicious and we really appreciated all their help in serving and tidying up. It helped to make the evening a real success. We would highly recommend them as party caterers and plan to use them again in future.
