We could not recommend Will and Dan at the Herb Kitchen more highly. They catered our 130 person Surrey marquee wedding in July and totally smashed it (see photos below - it tasted even better than it looked!). We are both foodies and were determined to find caterers who shared our enthusiasm and vision for fine dining, without trying to charge us more than the cost of a Michelin star restaurant as with some of the other quotes we received. We could not have found more perfect people to bring our plans and wishes to life than Will and Dan. The food was the best I have ever had at a wedding, which so many of our guests also commented, the front of house team kept everything running on time and beautifully professional and the organisation and planning in the lead up were the best of any of our suppliers. THK may not have the years of daily instagram or Facebook photos to sell themselves like some of the other bigger catering companies, but that does not make them any less capable of doing the job to an incredible standard - it just means they spend more time cooking than on social media! We would unreservedly recommend THK to anyone and will definitely use them again the next time we have something to celebrate in the family!

THK catered for our (postponed) wedding in June 2021. The whole team were incredible, but particularly Will & Annie who we had the most interaction with. They were friendly and welcoming from the very first call, reassuring and flexible throughout Covid postponements and rescheduling, and the food was just incredible. The fantastic quality of our menu tasting was 100% replicated at the wedding itself. Our guests were incredibly complimentary of the food quality, the open fire cooking looked amazing, and all of the staff on the day were engaging, attentive and friendly. One of our guests even commented that they had never been to a wedding where the staff seemed so genuinely happy to be there! One final call out to the stand-out charcuterie, all made by sister company The Curing Rebels. We and all our guests are now regular customers! Thank you again Will, Annie & team and we can’t wait to work with you again soon!

Herb Kitchen catered for our small, covid wedding in August and I have to say they were fantastic - and we’ll 100% be using them for our big celebration next year, once the pandemic has calmed down! Their food was delicious and so many guests have written to us since raving about it - we had the beef and the pork and both were cooked beautifully, really tender and with delicious sides to go with it. We also loved our tasting experience - down at their base by the sea in Hove, where we ate from a great selection of delicious plates which meant that we had a huge amount of confidence in the team from the get go. For us, more than anything, they were also unbelievably flexible in helping us out and planning around the ever-changing Covid restrictions - putting together a last minute menu to our budget, with perfect service in little more than a week. I’d highly recommend Dan, Will, Annie and the team for any event - for delicious, high quality locally sourced food with a bit of a difference.

Will, Dan, Annie and the whole Herb Kitchen team were an absolute delight to work with. They catered our small, Covid wedding and it was utterly spectacular. From our initial meeting, all the way through to the actual day, we were completely blown away. The attention to detail and passion that these guys have for food is so obvious and it shines through in their cooking, recipe ideas and just general attitude, they just want to make really tasty food, and my goodness is it tasty! They prepared the most amazing Asado in our garden and every single guest remarked on how great and different the food was compared to your usual wedding style, it was a real spectacle watching the food cook on the flames, using local and sustainable produce. Each little thing had been thought out meticulously and the staff were all charming. Annie made us incredible menu boards in her beautiful handwriting which will be a treasured keepsake for us forever. It honestly made our wedding having THK cater for us, we could not recommend them more highly and will definitely be using them in the future.

The Herb Kitchen catered for our vegetarian wedding in December and we could not have been happier! From the first moment we met Will & Dan we immediately discounted the other caterers we had contacted as we knew we had found what we wanted. We felt in safe hands throughout. Will & Dan struck the perfect balance of being both professional & personable, they really cared about making sure we were happy throughout and were a pleasure to deal with. The food they prepared was exceptional and their team on the day did a great job. We had so many compliments from our guests with some going so far as to say it was the best vegetarian food they had ever had. In summary, we never felt that we were ‘just another wedding’ with Will & Dan, they really made a concerted effort and we trusted them to do what they do best, which they did exceptionally well. We could not recommend THK more highly!

Herb Kitchen catered our work Christmas party and we had a wonderful experience with them. From the moment we got in touch with them they were really friendly and helpful, suggesting menu ideas and ensuring they would cater for all of our dietary requirements (and they were quite a few!). On the day all of the food was delicious and the servers were professional and friendly, they also left our kitchen immaculate. Everyone that we dealt with, from the event manager to the chefs, had real expertise in their field. Thanks to them we had a fantastic event and we would definitely use them again.

The Herb Kitchen are AMAZING! We just had them cater our wedding and the food was so well thought out, beautifully presented and delicious. We had a lot of people coming up to say it’s the best wedding food they’d ever had. The communication from the very beginning was attentive and helpful and we worked closely with the HK on an individual menu with a lot of quirks that were personal to us. Will and Dan are both delightful people and great to spend time talking to about food and everything else. We are so happy we found them for our wedding and don’t have a single complaint. A*****. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a bespoke, original and delicious wedding feast or event catering. Can we eat it all again please? Also to add, the events team on the day were superb, ran everything very smoothly, and made everything feel very relaxed and seamless.

The Herb Kitchen guys provided the most amazing food at our wedding over the summer. We had high expections when they explained what they were planning to cook (an outdoor fire pit slowly cooking great cuts of beef and pork) but the final result far exceeded our expectations. All the food was so tasty and the staff friendly and professional. Will and Dan were an absolute pleasure to deal with and would highly recommend them.

THK catered our wedding and they were absolutely superb. From the outset they were incredibly helpful and guided us through each step of the process, their extensive experience allowing us to feel at ease at all times. They were one element of our wedding that we never had to worry about - they made us feel so supported, and we had total faith in them from the outset. The food and service on the day were amazing, with a considerable number of our (foodie) guests telling us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! In addition to delicious food, the THK service on the day was brilliant, with Annie running our entire day for us - the wedding truly would not have been such a success without her and the rest of the THK team. Will and Dan are absolute stars. I am in the process of arranging another event with THK now and will continue to go to them over anyone else in the future!

We used The Herb Kitchen to cater a hen do in London. Dan was absolutely exceptional in creating a menu perfectly suited to our event - the food was incredible, beautifully presented and plentiful! One thing that stood out particularly was his attention to the people who had particular dietary requirements. Dan went out of his way to make exactly the same effort with these extra dishes so they didn’t feel like an afterthought (no bog standard goats cheese salad!) which in my experience is pretty rare! A total pleasure to deal with and I hope we have a chance to use THK again.

Dan came to our house and cooked a wonderful meal for 9 guests. Lots of quality locally sourced meat and produce including an English version of Camembert. We had duck starter and lamb main, both of which were amazing and melted in the mouth! Dan is a lovely guy and this service allowed us to fully enjoy the company of our guests and no washing up to face in the morning!!

THK is fantastic! From the initial contact right through to wash up (!!!) Dan was great! We planned my Mother in laws 70th, we had a variety of dietary requirements, Dan had no problem with creating a bespoke menu. He was particularly interested in what ingredients were my MOL faves and created a menu around that. Ingredients were locally sourced and bursting with flavours. Choux bombs are to die for! Dan catered for us at a rented house in the New Forest, he had no trouble travelling, what was really important was how comfortable we all felt! He cooked for 16 of us, no stress whatsoever. 100% worth it and I look forward to dining with THK again!
