Favour catered our reception and it was wonderful! Before the day of our celebration, Victoria worked really hard to develop a menu that would work for our diverse guests. My husband and I are vegan and we wanted most of the food to be vegan while also accommodating meat and fish eaters. That meant veganising some traditional Nigerian and English dishes. Also, to celebrate both our heritages, Victoria came up with some lovely food fusions too. In the run-up to the reception Victoria was patient and professional. She sent us gentle nudges when we forgot to send over info she had requested as she sent revised quotes when we changed our minds. Aside from the food, Victoria helped source a reputable tableware hire company and her staff managed all the coordination with them on the day. The food was amazing - our guests were full of compliments about everything from the welcome drinks, canapes to the three courses. Favour managed to deliver taste, authenticity and creativity! The team took care of everything from table setting and decoration to serving tea and coffee to running the bar. They were excellent and so easy to work with! Favour helped to make our day a special one. We really can't recommend them enough.

Favour Events was our preferred caterer for another wedding celebration in the family. Like Nigel the first time, I relied on Victoria's expertise for not only menu suggestions but other important areas to ensure a successful day. She was very approachable and would respond to any questions that I had. Guests were impressed by the professional and friendly service from the staff on the day as well as the food offerings and portions. I wish I had more weddings to celebrate but I look forward to having them at other happy celebrations. Thank you Favour Events.

Nigel and the team have been fantastic. Having worked with them and attended events catered by them in the past, I had no doubt that I wanted to use Favour Catering for my wedding reception. Nigel was was helpful throughout the 18 months planning period, being on hand during postponements, giving advice on the menu, set up, service, extra hire, drinks, everything. And on the day, the food was excellent, and we've been getting nothing but positive feedback from all our guests. Thank you again Nigel and Victoria, keep up the good work.

Favour is certainly the best in the UK if you want contemporary Afro Caribbean food at your wedding. We had been to weddings before ours were favour catered and so when we got engaged, Favour was the first vendor we booked. The service from tasting to the actual day was very hands on and professional. We had a few changes to the menu following the tasting and it all came together very beautifully from the cocktail hour, to the main courses, dessert and after party bowl food. The presentation of the food was especially noted by our guests as a plus!. We even had a goodie bag filled with all the main courses served on our day a few weeks after. Thank you favour for a beautiful service.

We had such an amazing eperience with Favour catering, from the initial meeting right up to the wedding day! Nigel was with us throughout the process and was a pleasure to work with. We had a pre-taster which made us seal the deal as their food was fantastic, the lamb shank was especially delicious. Our guests were raving about how amazing the food was, long after the wedding day! The staff were very friendly and attentive; from the serving of the amazing canapes, to the drinks, all the way to the main course and dessert. Nigel truly made our day extra special, I highly recommend Favour for any event, weddings especially!

I had encountered Favour Catering at a couple of events prior to getting engaged and was truly impressed by the staff's professionalism and the efficiency of the meal service (both buffet or table service.) Once I got engaged (Nov 2019), had a wedding date (Nov 2020) and venue - I contacted Favour Catering. From that point on, our experience was truly remarkable. From booking in, attending our food tasting (the food presentation and taste were amazing) to deciding on our final menu - the team at Favour worked with our budget to give us a package that would work for us. Communication was seamless and no query was too small. Unfortunately due to the 2nd National Lockdown, we were unable to have our wedding reception as planned. Even with this development, the team at Favour were extremely understanding and supportive - despite being affected themselves. (especially with regards to not requesting/withholding any payments on cancellation of our booking). I would 100% recommend Favour Catering and personally can't wait for the next opportunity to hire/experience their service.

You will have no regrets about choosing Favour Catering and Events, and please read this entire review if you want to know why. I speak as a client (Wedding) and a guest. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to find the time and write a review for this fantastic brand and company. Their service is impeccable, and they always continue to aim higher. The food is of excellent quality, and they do enjoy delivering tasty, delicious meals. Their standard set high when maintaining a hygienic and clean environment even during chaotic events is commendable. They are extremely willing and insist on knowing your other vendors in advance so they can work in harmony (very rare) and offer support. Please do not think they only cater to Nigerian/African/Caribbean clients as this is not true, I have been to past events where the catering was European, and their food was the best European cuisine I have tasted in events I have been that offered this type of cuisine. What I love about them is if they cannot do something, they don't pretend they can, (again this is very rare), and the reason is that they care about the service they provide. They will also try to work with your budget but give a realistic perspective. They listen and ask questions to ensure they get it right, and you will walk away smiling. What I can say is you are getting great value for money. ONE AMAZING THING THEY DID DURING COVID Despite the pandemic having put their business on a standstill; do you know they called every so often to ask how my fiancé and I were doing and offer any support? The call was not focused on business but rather on how you guys are doing. Favour Catering and Event is a family business run by a lovely husband and wife team, and there is a lot of wisdom and grace to learn from them if you are a couple, so take notes because I have. Despite all this, when we had to cancel the contract with them due to a change of plan as a result of covid restrictions (out of frustration with the UK rules we decided to elope), we weren't charged, and this involved no hassle, not one bit (again extremely rare). They were more concerned with us as a couple is doing good and well. So get in touch, call them for a chat, confirm what you want, agree on the service and price, and sit back because they got the rest. Whatever your event, you are in good hands, and have a great event.

I was recommended to Favour Catering & Events by Dulwich College where my Mothers celebration of life was going to be held. I was very impressed with Victoria from the beginning. Not long after speaking with her, I knew I had found the right company. Victoria's wealth of knowledge as well as her precision were totally unmatched. Any queries I had were met with such care and professionalism, this definitely made it extremely easy to organise my Mother's event. I'd like to extend my gratitude to Victoria's team who did a fantastic job on the day. Guests were pleasantly surprised at how amazing everything was. Used them for our Sierra Leone/British wedding. The service was incredible, and they went above and beyond - tweaking recipes, catering to different heat levels, and giving great suggestions for alternatives. You get what you pay for and these guys are EXCELLENT.
