Thank God I found Claire and The Vintage Tea Party! Within minutes of speaking to her, I had an idea of what I needed for my tea party and was advised to look at the gallery for choice of colours. So easy to communicate with, I collected the china out of hours which Claire was very accommodating of and I was lucky she had availability last minute. Was so excited to set it all up at home, the quality of her bone china is on point, and my guests loved the whole experience. Felt weird that I was returning dirty china, but actually it saved me the hassle of washing and drying them! I will definitely be doing another tea party and definitely coming back to Claire. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you again, my Mum and her friends had the best time!

We had an afternoon tea for a friend's hen party, which I wanted to make extra special as we had always planned to go abroad (not happening this year!) Claire was amazing from start to finish and exceeded my expectations! She offered vegetarian and vegan options for our party, and even though she said the vegan cake was not as good as the non-vegan I though it was one of the best moist chocolate cakes I'd eaten (an I'm not a vegan). She was super responsive even when I changed my mind so many times and all the vintage crockery was beautiful. Thank you so much for helping us organise a lovely hen, which the bride-to-be thoroughly enjoyed!

It was a delight working with "Vintage Tea Party" in preparing my special birthday family celebration. More importantly, on the day, the food was delicious, moreish, and plentiful. And the service, on this occasion provided by Claire, the company's manager, was fantastic: Nothing was left to chance, and she helped create a very special afternoon for myself and the family, with her courtesy, good humour, and incredible efficiency. If you are planning a friendly, relaxed afternoon tea party, this company is the real deal. The "Vintage" part of the tea party is a genuine delight, since the most beautiful cups, saucers, plates, cake stands and tea pots, all come from another, less fraught historical era. These features add extra colour and personality to the event. I would urge you to treat yourself, your family and friends, to an event in the company of Vintage Tea Party! Last but not least, I found the pricing to be most fair and reasonable.

Claire’s stock is plentiful, very pretty in great condition and her communication is excellent - a total professional. We had a great experience from invoicing, packing, arranging transport etc, in addition the pricing is very fair. Bonus that the stock is based in Central London! Claire runs a brilliant business with a lot of care and enthusiasm. I hosted a golden wedding party for 19 people and the table looked incredible. All of the plates , cake stands cups and sauces and tea pots brought the whole thing to life. Highly recommend using her company again for occasions like this.

We ordered the afternoon tea menu and vintage China for a baby shower and all of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the afternoon tea and China! It was also super easy - Claire delivered the tea set and picked it up after the event (no need to wash up!). Would definitely use again!

Service: Claire was brilliant! Organised, easy to speak to, answered all my questions and was really helpful! She was also very mindful of social distancing and wore a mask when face to face! Small but important point! Collection/Drop-off: Super easy and super accommodating! Claire very much did what she could to accommodate collection and drop off at my convenience. Parking at the address for collection and drop-off was ample. The Tea Sets: The variety was brilliant! The China and the silverware were fantastic! Everything was immaculate! No chips are scratches or stains! Everything was packed in a way that made it unpack, and there was ample bubble wrapping to help you when repacking! Overall, it really was a 5* service all around! We booked Claire for our wedding as we wanted to put on a high tea for our guests. Claire was so calm and helpful throughout the entire process as soon as I made contact with her. She laid the tables for the tea and offered to keep our helpers and the venue in check when a hired helper didn't look like they were going to do what had been agreed and I could not be there in the morning to set up as I was busy getting ready. She project managed the setting up that morning, checking in with me whether I was happy with certain aspects. I had many compliments from the guests and it was mostly down to Claire's immaculate attention to detail and customer service. She really did go above and beyond. I can't recommend her enough. The china itself was beautiful and the settings looked amazing.

Claire and Jo could not have been more accommodating in catering for our Christmas Tea Parties. They were not phased by the number of special diets which they had to deal with and managed to include something for everyone and adapt the menu suitably for the season.
