Extremely satisfied with the quality of service and food, the presentation, the menu and the prices - honestly a top tier place for unmistakably authentic Lebanese fare

I came to Ya-Sham on Friday evening for a meal with 2 friends. The food was on point and we were well looked after by the lovely waitress who was very attentive. We ordered the set Meal for Two and a Shish Taouk with salad. All dishes were really well spiced & flavored and came in generous portions, so much so that we could not quite finish everything between the 3 of us! The restaurant was clean and not too busy, we had a great experience dining here with lovely food and will definitely be back again :)

Had shawarma wrap. Did not like it. The bread was not soft. It was not juicy, it was kinda sour, given the amount of tomatoes in it. (Not suggesting shawarma is bad. Just saying it is really different from the one I have had in India or UAE. Just that it was not my taste. On the contrary, I had loved the shawarma from a lebanese restaurant 50m away, Abu zaad)

Service and hospitality was fantastic. The seating is comfortable with plenty of good lighting. Portions were a good size and the starters are nice however the mix grill was dry and a little cold.

Extremely good. Whole family enjoyed it. Customer service was particularly good, free deserts provided aswell. Can't go wrong. I'd like to add that while they do serve full 3 course meals (which is what we had), they also do a great value lunch menu for those who might be looking for a quick bite or on the move. Very handy!! Their wraps are good but a bit dry. Their chilli 🌶 sauce is spectacular, and I love the grilled cheese desert with honey.

Great place to eat. The good is very tasty and well made. The coffee is very small but tasty nevertheless. I enjoyed the fresh juices but think they could add ginger to the fruit juices to add a bit more pep. I really enjoyed the halloumi grilled. The salads were very tasty. One of the best restaurants ever!!!!! The food is delicious top tier!!! I am out of words with the service that I received at the restaurant, the waitresses were very welcoming and informative. Fast friendly service from the staff. Went in for some mint tea and sweet. Sweet was nice, mint tea was not really mint tea. Just some early grey with a few mint leaves. Did not have any food, but all the grilled stuff smelt really lovely.

Have eaten at Ya Sham a few times and had eat out too. Ordered a meal for over 20 people to celebrate my wife's special birthday. The quality of the food was the very highest and VERY tender lamb and chicken. We had sambousak and potatoes with dips and plenty of bread too. They came to set the food up in large catering pans with the burners beneath to keep the food warm. This is a fantastic service and I highly recommend this restaurant whether you need a quick lunch, a quiet meal for two or catering for larger groups. Hugely positive experience. Well done Team Ya Sham!

I ordered on Saturday from this restaurant to see what I can get if I don't sit in just enjoy the meal on my sofa. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of the food I received. I got a garlic and a red spicy sauce and naan bread, which wasn't even mentioned. (There was an option the order without garlic as well) The meat was nicely prepared and the sauces gave it a lovely flavour.It felt really good that even though I don't went to the restaurant they took care of my food as if I was there. For one person the food is more then enough, it can be shared between person as well.

Ordered from here on deliveroo and the food was really excellent!! Having never eaten here pre-corona, we weren't sure what to expect, but it by far exceeded our expectations. Everything was totally delicious and clearly prepared with skill and attention. Each dish was packed full of flavour. Went for lunch on Sunday with some friends, tried their lunch menu, everything was really good, portions, taste, presentation. The lady serving us was very patient and kind. We had 3 young kids with us under 5 and 1 baby, all getting a bit noisy and it was still a pleasant experience. Would recommend and visit again. 👍🏼

First time we have eaten Lebanese food so were not sure what to have. When the food arrived which was not long in waiting after ordering we were pleasantly surprised. Portions were a good size and the taste was different from what we expected. Really good food, decent portions, and good service. The extras in terms of pita breads with mains etc are a big plus. You can eat in or take out - both options are well-managed and the counter staff I believe are also the owners so there is a personal touch to the service. Have been there on a few occasions and the food and service standards were consistently great.

A complete surprise. A good test for a restaurant is how well they do the basic, simple stuff. So I ordered a bunch of cold and hot mezzeh. And they nailed it. It was fresh, tasty, and generous. I'll come back.

Tired and hungry we needed simewhere near to our hotel and without much planning ended up in this lovely little family restaurant. Not expecting too much we were very pleasantly surprised .Its bring your own booze so a quick step round the corner for a good bottle from Tesco kicked things off well, follwed by exceptionally good hot and cold meze that were as good if not better than anything you could find elsewhere. Portions were generous and the spicing was full and creative.All in all a lovely meal at a very reasonable price rounded iff with mint tea and some complimentary pastries. We shall return!

Very generous portions of both -- fortunately I'm quite capable of eating more than I should! -- the hummus with very nice bread and the falafels with a small side salad as well as the dressing.

I held a huge family dinner here for 27 people (adults and kids), the food was incredible and given out in huge portions, it was brilliant value for money, and the service was great too. I was taken there for a celebration in February 2015. We had a great night with excellent food and service. I was not allowed to see the bill but do know that it was very reasonable. We had alot of starters (almost like Tapas) and then main courses all of which were very tasty. I also recommend their Mint Tea. As it is a BYOB there are plenty of Off Licences nearby. 10 out of 10!

Nice simple food, very good service and good arrives fast.Big bonus was it's a BYO.On site bakery, so breads are freshly cooked, good portion of meat with the mains, lamb sharwarma was very fatty, to the extent it was not enjoyable if you are not a fan of fatty meat. Not all dishes (vegetable) are freshly cooked and so disappointing. Complementary rice pudding at the end was just like school dinner, so not enjoyable unless you are a fan of school dinners. Would I go again? Don't know but would try other similar restaurants nearby which are cheaper.

Sensationally tasty Lebanese food. Some of the best flavoured Lebanese cuisine I've tasted and I've tried quite a lot. We ordered the usual suspects of hummus, falafel, batata harra, cheese sembousek and a shish taouk. The hummus came with 3 pitta breads and the portion was very large indeed. The cheese sembousek had some really tasty pastry that felt like it was homemade. The falafel were very crunchy on the outside but not dry on the inside and had a great distinctive taste that was a fantastic surprise, it came with a wonderful lemonly tahini. The combination of the two was devine. The shish taouk came with 2 shish's worth of chicken that were cooked to perfection. You have a choice of rice or chips to accompany. The batata harra were good but not as amazing as the rest of the offerings. The restaurant is on the small side but could certainly accommodate large groups with enough notice. I will certainly be coming back here. The food was truly delightful.

It's the best Lebanese restaurant in the ealing area and I have tried them all to such an extent that they put me off Lebanese food. This tiny little Lebanese restaurant is a real gem. The food is excellent... We had the falafel, hummus, meat balls and they brought us this amazing egg-plant salad (Al-Rahib) on the house. Also remember to get the garlic and chilli sauces. The service was delightful, our waitress was friendly, helpful and attentive and brought us some baklava on the house at the end of our meal as well. If you find your self in Ealing common, come here for a delicious meal... You won't regret it.

BUT they are clearly doing something odd with the delivery companies: Just had an experience where they said a Deliveroo order had not arrived, took the order over the phone instead. Then, when apparently the Deliveroo order came through, they tried to persuade us to pay them in cash on the door and for us to cancel the Deliveroo order. Interestingly, they used to be on Just Eat, but vanished suddenly...

The design over the years of this common has been less naturalistic than that of its SW London common and park cousins. So while it's got many things to offer: playgrounds, a fishing pond, a (very often empty of water) paddling pool, a skate park, etc. it also has just a lot of grass. Bonus: on the Battersea Rise end they are currently installing an outdoor gym. So that could be a nice addition.
