Booked a 3 course dinner for my mum’s birthday and we absolutely loved it!! Chef Gianni prepared us great food with a smile. He realised he was ahead of schedule and offered to prepare another starter with some things we had available in the fridge. The food was delicious and he left the kitchen very clean when done. I will definitely book again!!

Our first experience using YHANGRY was amazing! Even though it was such a last minute booking (day before), Chef Andrea preparing the Italian menu massively exceeded expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted better than any restaurant would have. Really can’t say enough about what a fantastic experience this was and how we’re clearly going to use this so much! My bubble had a surprise birthday dinner at home for one of us who was turning 30 in lockdown and bummed about it. Our chef Andrea Ometto was very friendly, professional, flexible with our home kitchen and the order of courses (we got hungry faster than expected), and Covid-safe. His food was excellent — best polenta in London, said the birthday boy — and we couldn’t bear to leave any leftovers! Pity I forgot to take pictures of the dessert. He also left the place cleaner than when he arrived. We were floored. 5 stars for YHangry and an extra one for Andrea!

Having recently had a new baby, our 'going out' options are quite limited at the moment, so we turned to YHANGRY for a treat one Friday night. Chef Adam delivered a fantastic experience for us, she was professional and friendly. The food was beautiful - it really was like something you'd expect in a high quality restaurant. We had 4 courses - including 2 freshly baked cakes - and there was enough left over for lunch and dinner the. next day. Thank you Adam for a wonderful treat!

Much to like here. Booking was easy, with good communication and clear expectations both ways. Chef Justin arrived on time, with everything he needed. Very friendly yet professional, went above and beyond in serving us, and left the kitchen sparkly clean. The food was all delicious and very plentiful. My only gripe is that the shopping delivery came one hour ahead of schedule, when I was out. However, YHangry replied immediately to my WhatsApp and arranged for the chef to do the shopping. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use again!

Andrew made our 7th anniversary dinner such a special occasion at a time when we’d had so little quality time to spend together working through the pandemic. We had made a blunder by accidentally refusing the grocery delivery the day before the meal but it was dealt with swiftly and generously (even though it was entirely our mistake). YHangry clearly knows a lot about customer service. I really hope YHangry know what a talent they have in Andrew, and make sure they hold onto him.

I used YHANGRY to do a bday surprise for my girlfriend. Despite the grocery delivery the day before it worked out perfectly. She was very happy about the whole experience. The food was great and plenty of it. We decided to plate the food up ourselves so our chef Kyaw left everything prepared for us and explained how to finish certain things off and plate them up. Also learned a thing or two in the process which is brilliant. One of us was vegan, but by ordering two starters and two mains we ensured both of us were happy and didn't have to compromise. And we had a lot of leftovers for the following days. So not bad at all value for money in the end.

First I wanted to express how impressed I have been using your service for the first time - the communication and everything you say your going to do does actually happen so I found myself going to check my calendar for reminders from you or to check grocery delivery dates etc and of course you did not fail to communicate at every stage. I arranged this as a surprise for my in-laws golden wedding anniversary on 29/1/21 and the whole experience did not fail to surprise and impress us. The Chef Fred was absolutely amazing, his passion for food and cooking really shone through along with no pressure to rush us through the meals. He was absolutely brilliant and went out of his way to make sure the whole experience was very special and said I’m here I want you to enjoy your experience so please don’t worry if I have to stay a bit longer there’s really no pressure but to enjoy the food and to relax - this was so refreshing and made them feel at ease. Now as for the food and presentation that went beyond expectations and we kept getting pictures after every course from the in-laws throughout the night and they were so happy with how good the food was - we got to taste some of the leftovers too which we too felt was pretty amazing!! The chef Fred definitely deserves some recognition and you should keep him on your books - we will definitely be using y hangry again and make a special request to have him come back to cook for us at a next home/birthday event. Our chef and this service is superb! Our chef arrived promptly, checked the ingredients and noticed a few things were missing but was able to substitute with alternatives and still made everything delicious. He cleaned our kitchen and left it cleaner than how he found it. We were so impressed that he knew how to make all the dishes on our diverse menu. Well where do I begin! Tonight we had Alessandro come to our home and cook us an amazing Mexican dinner! Just when I thought he peaked with the amazing starters he topped all with the most incredible main and after that created two of the most beautiful deserts I have ever had! He was such a lovely guy that went above on beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening. Alessandro made sure everything was perfect and after cooking not only did he leave the kitchen spotless as if he was never there he also helped parcel up anything we wanted to keep (yummy lunches for next few days… winning). We had booked a romantic two course dinner for two. We had purchased the ingredients which were easy enough to source. Priyanka joined us via Zoom and guided us through preparing Bombay potatoes, butter chicken and mango lassi. I cannot speak highly enough about how well she could explain each step. She had a lovely calm personality with a sweet sense of humour. This was a birthday treat for me and I really enjoyed every aspect of it. Booked a private chef through YHANGRY for my wife's 1st birthday as a Mum. Chris was absolutely brilliant and we would love to have him cook for us again. So professional, brought loads of extra ingredients and his own knives and kit, cooked us the most delicious 3 course meal, set the table, cleared up, then washed up all the dishes and cleaned our kitchen like it's never been cleaned before! Had an amazing dinner party with the excellent Italian chef, Johnny! I've used YHangry a number of times, and it's so easy to use and helpful to be able to have someone solely focused on the food. I would like to start this review by saying that I am currently re-heating the left overs from yesterdays amazing meal! I have used Yhungry before and was never to pleased however yesterdays chef and meal was 10/10. The chef was so lovely and even came an hour earlier than he was meant to, to make sure he had enough prep time. The food was a Middle Eastern fusion of spices, vegetables and chicken that blew our taste buds away. The chef is an asset to Yhungry and I would 100% be using him again but next time I will be asking the Italian native to make us an Italian themed meal. The chef's name is Vincenzo, but he you can call him Vinny! He left our kitchen spotless. Thank you your time and we look forward to booking you again.

Only downside to the experience was If you wanted the chef to serve it was an extra charge which I think doesn't fit the concept it should be part of the initial package. The kitchen was left spotless, amazing not to do any cooking or washing up on a Friday night after a long week at work; instead to relax with friends outside in the garden and eat a delicious 3 course meal! Yhangry provided us with an excellent chef (Quinten) who prepared a delicious meal in our kitchen to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday, including a surprise additional dessert for the birthday girl. He was very efficient in preparing, serving and clearing away, and was very sensitive to our specific dietary requirements and the necessary comings and goings in our kitchen as our very young granddaughter was one of our guests. Prior to the meal, we got a good response to any queries that we had from the admin staff.

What a great experience, a lovely chef (Shaloma) arrived and prepped the meal 2 hours before we planned to sit down. A beautiful meal was served bang on time, and to top it off all the dishes was done. After a busy week at work we had thought to just get a take away, but this was so much better, and not that more expensive.

We had our first yhangry private chef experience yesterday. James Brown was our chef and he did not disappoint. James has an impressive experience and it is so nice to have had someone of his calibre coming to our home. He prepared a delicious meal with middle Eastern flavours for our family. We enjoyed the whole experience, everything was perfect and we didn't have to do a thing except enjoy eating the dishes. Will definitely use yhangry again.

I had a great experience using YHangry and have already recommended them to friends. There was a good selection of dishes available and I like the service i.e. pick a date, pick a menu and then everything is done for you. Gianni, the chef, was lovely - organised but also low key. He just got on with cooking and was bang on time with serving. The food was great and he had excellent customer service - checking how we wanted food to be served etc. He also cleaned up efficiently after himself. I also made a couple of last minute changes to numbers/menu and, on the day itself realised that the person who the dinner was for did not like mustard. YHangry managed the changes well and Gianni was fantastic in coming up with a substitute sauce. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because a couple of ingredients (parma ham and olive oil) were missing from the grocery shop. We were a few mins from a shop, but most people are not in that position.

We have quite strict dietary requirements (kosher) and yet they take it all in their stride and make it such a lovely experience. From start to finish this experience was amazing. Lee, the Chef, was super professional, friendly and made UNREAL food. I don't think anyone said a word to each other at the table because it was so amazing! He helped set the table, and left my kitchen even more clean than when he arrived! We had a dinning experience for family over the Easter Weekend in celebration of my wife's 60th birthday. The chef Ivan was fantastic, each course was exceptional. The flavours and combination of Mexican food really worked. He worked extremely hard to get everything just perfect. The only negative was that there was too much prep time needed which ran over from our expected meal time, no one had a complaint though and food flowed through the evening and there was a plenty of it! Excellent job well done and we will certainly use YHANGRY again.

Yhangry produced a fantastic vegan meal for my wife's 30th Birthday. They were very reasonably priced with lots of options and were easy to contact throughout the entire process, particularly when enquiring what kitchen items were needed by the chef to create the meals. The shopping was delivered during the time slot chosen and menus arrived promptly after booking. We had a lovely chef Petros M who was fantastic in the kitchen and very friendly and warm with the guests at the gathering too. The kitchen seemed to be left in a cleaner state than when he began! Lastly and most importantly the food was absolutely brilliant. An Italian vegan feast which was not just the mushroom risotto you find at restaurants. There was lots of food left over for guests to take home/eat the following day. This is an experience I'd highly recommend and we will definitely be using Yhangry again!

The only negative was that the grocery delivery was missing two items but that was ok as luckily Andrew suggested substitutes for which I had at home. I highly recommend this company for a special occasion or for a treat for that special someone. The only downside was the delivery of the food to my house due to the company delivering it, had contacted me and asked me to make another payment. The food was prepared a little too early from the time we had requested to eat at and we felt bad for the chef who was very polite waiting for us so we decided to eat earlier than expected. But over all, Yhangry was a very professional company to deal with and I will definitely be using them again and I will be recommending them to my friends. Thank you for a memorable time.

We booked a Tapas meal online for a home party. The only step I needed to do was to choose a menu and pay. Our food has been ordered and deliveried by the team one day ahead on time. They were from Watrose, looking fresh and of good quality. Our Chef came half an hour earlier on the day. He was very friendly and creative in terms of utilizing our limited cultery and plate sets. He was fully on his own after getting familiar with where things are. Then at our planned dinner time, beautifully placed food were brought to the table. Everyone was very impressed by the flavour, look and quality of the food. Our Chef has also helped wash and replacing the plates in between courses making sure things run smoothly. THe only issue I have was that the Chef left half an hour to an hour earlier than planned, leaving the last batch of plates and all glasses to ourselves to tidy and clean. I did pay extra when ordering the meal to include the final tidy up service. But it wasn't clear whether it's not made clear by the team, the Chef just changed his clothes at that point, planning to leave. Considering he did a great job for the food and serving, I didn't argue for him to stay longer. But contractually, I feel a little bit left out due to that. I would still recommend the service though. Just that I would try to communicate clearly with the Chef from the beginning and maybe gently remind the Chef in between so that there is no misunderstanding like this.

Amazing service and perfect concept at YHangry. DIY menu with bolt-on sides and a really slick/easy to use website. Kris arrived and was professional from the first moment. He cooked a delicious, gourmet three course meal with a range of sides. We could not fault the meal at all! Kris was able to adapt the menu to accommodate a pregnant lady, she was only fed organic ingredients, we thought this was a very thoughtful touch. After finishing, Kris had some great interaction with us and then proceeded to leave the kitchen in a cleaner state than when he arrived. Would definitely recommend and look forward to using again! A top experience. Groceries were delivered on time the day before. Fred, our cook for the night arrived on time and got to work. It was brilliant to see him work and we could smell his work across the house. Chef Fred and Chef Seniz were amazing and so incredibly professional! The portion sizes were generous and plentiful that we also enjoyed it as leftovers the day after. Both chefs helped with serving the food and ensured that the kitchen was left spotless. It honestly took away the pressure of cooking and clearing up and allowed us to focus and ensure that we had quality time with the family. I can’t thank the Yhangry team and the chefs enough. It was actually Chef Seniz’s birthday on the day she cooked for us, I was so touched that she was cooking for us on her special day. I wish Yhangry continued success and I have no doubt you will go from strength to strength. We will be most definitely be using this amazing company again. She also had an amazing experience and the food was yummy! Hachemi S was our private chef. He was very polite and profesional from the beginning to the end. A Very modest man! His cooking was amazing and the katsu curry was to die for! I do admire how well he found his way around my kitchen and with my limited appliances he managed to make a delish 3 course meal! He also cleaned afterwards and left my kitchen spotless. My only comment is about the shopping list. Perhaps checking with a client regarding ingredients could reduce the waste. Overall I would recommend and will probably use them again!

Overall experience was great. Pros Prices reasonable in my opinion and the menu is flexible. You don't have to order a 3 course meal or set menus. You can just order what you like. I got 2 starters, one main, and 3 sides. They send an e-menu and an A5 printed menu on the day of the party. When I booked my party I had a mistake in the title and when I requested a change they managed to fix it on the printed menu too ! Chef came in and just took over the kitchen and found her way around. Asked me how and when I would like my meal and delivered. Polite, nice and quiet. On the day of the party I had a gas leak and my hob was out so had to use a portable electiric hob. The chef was accomodating and agile and just made do with it. She also set the table, brought out the food and explained what everything is. After she was done, she cleaned what she used and even went an extra mile cleaning the kitchen in my opinion. Cons: The only thing I did not like is that I got 2 emails about the groceries delivery's time slot and warnings about not missing it. I had to stay home for a 3 hour slot waiting for the groceries which did not arrive. Instead the chef just showed up with everything. I would have prefered not to be tied up that time if the chef was just going to just show up with it. For this reason, I'm taking 1 star. Sorry Overall, recomended and WILL use again!
