Just visited there to attend the wedding of one of friends' son. It is really nice place as they pointed out " Over the last decade, Excellency is one of the most powerful names in the wedding industry. After the success of our first UK venue, based in Bolton. Very lovely..spacious..lots of extras there..gardens are beautiful. The fake cake spoilt it all. It didn't look real and wasn't suited to the event. Staff are helpful.

What a great building in Telford Birmingham. When a toilet wows you thats speaks about serious money spent in a venue. A beautiful events building, the decor is beautiful, top class, eloquent and amazing. Top class decor with marble, fountain, chandeliers and a great set up and great five star furniture. A perfect venue for wedding, large events/functions and the venue can accommodate over 2000+ people seated in venue. There is a large prayer room and the toilets have Wudu (prayer washing) facilities for both Men and Ladies. I attended the event for the HRF 30th anniversary. Plenty of parking space for cars with stewards. The set up was amazing, the starters and food served was great, table service by waiters and waitresses was professional and well co-ordinated and managed.

I was attending my nephews wedding on Saturday evening, and would like to state what a fabulous evening we all had. The venue itself is stunning and you can tell the owners have not sparred any expense on design and extravagant interiors. As a vibe, it was the best wedding I've attended, and from start to finish was just non stop fabulous bbqs, canapés, coffee lounge and perfect dinner. The bbq area we found out very late and it was near the end, so I think they should put a sign showing guests where the bbq area is. I wouldn't have realised otherwise. More car park attendants needed also for such a huge space. Outside gardens were Beautiful and peacocks we loved. The waiters were very efficient and respectful, and hats off to the chefs for making a fabulous dinner. Starters were amazing and fresh, and the curry were sublime. The lamb leg was impressive as I usually don't like lamb. But this was great. Bathrooms and prayer rooms facilities very nice too. Highly recommend as it was the best wedding I've attended all round. Minor changes needed but very very minor. Service,Food and venue was out of this world. 10/10

I attended on 3 separate occasions, the venue is beautiful, it's stunning. It's nice and clean everywhere. There's plenty of space for parking. There are prayer facilities but the only issue is with the food. Unfortunately the quality and portion of the food isn't up to standards....

None like this venue in europe let alone uk! where do i even start? they have thought of every single thing. They had shuttle services going around their car parks (venue had like five car parks, there was about 800 parking slots i woukd say) the buggys picked up guest and took them to the venue, which was so useful as it was pouring down. It was a fun ride and tbh the venue is huuuuge. Talking of how massive it is, the venue itself was so nice snd warm,. Even though the whole pkace was marble they had made the venue so warm for the guests. They had soooo many chandeliers inside, the whole building is decorated beautifully with lights outside aswell. You can tell they spend serious money for a wedding. honestly, I dont want to look at their energy bill. very generous of excellency, thank you. Honestly they cared so much for everyone! The glorious venue speaks for itself though, oh my dayzzz. We couodnt breath as we entered the main hall, everyone literrally stopped , breathed and took their phones out. people were going up and down the isle just making videos from the chandeliers, paintings, the lights, the walls, the decor , the floor. This venue is crazy. Crazy like a dream. The fog, their sound system was insane, the dry ice , the fireworks. The food at the lobby was sooo much sooo nice. The fresh mocktails, the gelato. Their BBQ food outside. There was just soooo much food. The dinner though, was out of this world. The lamb leg and the biryaniiiiii was just beautiful. Even their staff were sooo professional. The head waiters were so caring . honestly i can go on and on. Their in house camera crew was like a an eight man crew. They were soooo gooood. you can tell excellency works with the best here, really everything was pure quality..Entertainemnt with every meal, who does that. Thats how you take care of your guests. well done honestly well done. Oh also the bride had a wedding planner that was guiding every second of her night. My wife snd I thiught she was the brides sister but then realised that shes the wedding planner. She was so nice and caring. we are so sad that we got married when there was no excellency midlands. Really jealous of couples getting married here, they live a dream.

I had my wedding here. Loved it. Sabrina and the team were amazing throughout the whole journey from start to end. They kept in touch with with me, and made any adjustments I needed for my big day. The food was amazing everyone loved it. I would also like to give a big shout to the videography/photography guys honestly they were amazing best in the business I had my wedding film and pictures within days after my wedding.

Credit due where it’s deserved ! I’ve just seen the below reviews from Sundays stunning wedding, and wanted to give my own honest feedback, as nephew of the family. The venue, food and waiters were fantastic, and there is no venue anywhere that provides the food and service that these guys do ! The whole ceremony, from the stunning entrance to the entertainment (Egyptian was best!) were fantastic. Our family had invited extra guests, and from what I could see, they didn’t want to pay, so clearly that’s not the venues fault. We also had a designated seating system, with names for individuals on each table. Unfortunately a lot of our older guests had sat on wrong tables and had started eating the yummy salads so they couldn’t be moved! The brides family were kicking up a fuss with the venue to remove the older guests, and I think that is COMPLETELY UNFAIR. Credit to the venue for refusing to move older guests and the speed of setting up extra tables was clearly visible! EXCELLENCY is EXCELLENT! My sister has her wedding booked for Devember and we can’t wait!

Attended a family wedding just over the weekend and had the best time ever! Best venue i have been to, service was brilliant! Last week I attended my cousins wedding . Absolutely stunned . The food service was great and the way it was served was very posh and impressing the waiters came at a fast speed with platters held high above their heads with sparklers . The entertainment whisky waiting for the food made it ten times better the experience . As we arrived , awaiting was a bbq which I really enjoyed as well as my mates and others . Wow what a stunning venue! I’ve been to many wedding venues but not seen anything like this. There is so much attention to detail from the canapés, outdoor bbq, food service and toilets. It really feels magical!! The only improvement I think would be for the lift to be working to go to the toilets - wearing heels and going up/down marble stairs is not easy so more toilet facilities downstairs are needed with increased cleaning for the accessible W/C.

I don’t even know where to start! There’s too much to say about how amazing this venue was! My brother got married here on Sunday and the process from start to finish was just amazing. I must say this venue is one of if not the best venue in the Uk when it comes to an all inclusive package . The decoration, the building itself and everything is just unreal. They have literally thought about every little detail… the paintings, the chandeliers … everything just wow. All I can say the whole venue is just breathtaking .. I could go on for days! Aqib, Sabrina and the whole team were phenomenal ! They were there each step of the way and took all the headache. I can’t be thankful enough to both of them who put so much effort in and took care of every detail. I don’t know what we would have done without them! Overall The whole team was so professional, caring and kind and made sure everyone was welcome and happy. We were extremely happy with how much care and attention they put in to our celebration and honestly we couldn’t have had it better! The service was definitely excellent. They had a camera crew of 8 people included too!! Which is amazing and their work was just phenomenal!! They created a quick trailer of the day so far and some photos taken to show the guests and wow they were just amazing. I was so so so happy with the camera team and their work is just incredible . I must say the best part was the food! I don’t even know where to start !!! The selection in just the foyer was out of this world.. from amazing fruits, gelatos, pastries, mocktails .. you name it they had everything!! Not to forget the amazing barbecue they had outisde which was just woww .. they also had a shuttle service from the foyer to the barbecue stand which was so convenient. There was just so much! And the main food was yet to come. Once inside the starters and mains were heavenly especially the lamb leg !! My personal favourite! If that wasn’t enough they had a huge selection of desserts after that which included so many differnt desserts such as cakes, pastries, cheescakes etc .. it was all mouthwatering ! The quality of the food and the way it’s served is just so amazing and the effort they put into each thing is outstanding They also had entertainment between each course and dhol players welcoming guests into the main hall … they were all soooo good especially the twirling dancer!! Our guests all went home so happy and had an amazing time and we had so many of our guests telling us how much fun they had which makes the everything much nicer knowing your guests were happy. Finally, as you must have gathered I was beyond pleased with the whole service and would definitely recommend the hall to anyone who wants a spectacular wedding and for everything that’s included it’s honestly so so so worth it and there’s nothing like this venue anywhere in the uk! We attended a beautiful family wedding in the evening of 17.07.22 and it was an absolute spectacular event! The venue, décor and smooth running of the whole wedding just added to the abeyance and mood. We got married here last week and everything from start to finish was perfect. Sabrina the wedding planner was so good her and my wife were in contact every month and closer to the wedding every other day and she was available at all times. I can’t remember all of the staff but from start to finish they were so good! The day it self was faultless the food was amazing!! Which initially I was worried about after reading a couple of reviews but the food was 10\10. The venue the staff the inside with all off the variety of foods they had all the guests loved it. We unfortunately didn’t get all the entertainment as they called in sick on the day but the Sabrina offered us something else in replacement. Fully recommend this place especially if your a guy and want a headache free wedding as they deal with everything AtoZ. The photography people were amazing they were with us all day and talked us through everything and we recieved our wedding video last night literally a week after our wedding!! Well what can I say I’m speechless amazing hall this hall was a our last opinion but as soon we step foot we fell in love amazing garden area amazing decorations everything was just amazing even the toilets lol. Wow wow wow We’ve just had “The Perfect Wedding “ last night , we want to have it all over again.!!! I am still so overwhelmed by the service we received from the team. I wish I knew everyone’s names. Aquib, Warqar, Nadia , Fatima , Sabrina and the rest of the team. The waiting staff , the driver , the food, the same day trailer, everything was Simply amazing!! Our guest can’t stop speaking about it. Literally NO ONE wanted to leave. I had a vision all white theme and management ran with it and executed it! I must stress Aquib & Warqar made my planning so easy they were super helpful During the process. A special thank you to Nadia who also took time out to help keeping me happy at all times even though she is not the planner, I felt guilty messaging her but in less than 10mins I got a response. Such a beautiful venue; my daughter said it was like stepping into a fairy tale palace. Chinese pagoda like facade, complete with water garden and bridge - great for photos! The interior was ornate with marble floors, chandeliers, painted ceiling and gilded mirrors. It was spacious and clean. My family attended a wedding. The bride and groom arrived by helicopter, greeted by a violin quartet and mocktails. The staff provided a good service and the food was tasty. The tables were decked by flower displays and there was an almost surreal feel with smoke and coloured lights effect. I hope I get invited to another wedding there!

I attended my cousins friends wedding last night. I have to say I was not expecting such an extravagant venue, I was very impressed! The staff were extremely accommodating to my dietary requests as I am vegetarian. I loved how the food was presented on sushi boats - it was super unique. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt obliged to write one for this venue. My cousin got married at here last week, Ive seen so many videos of it on tik Tok and instagram but never been myself. Its safe to say I was completely blown away. I can't believe the attention to detail, when we arrived there was BBQ and shuttle service for guests, the kids loved it. The decor inside is unreal, I was overwhelmed by the marble and chandeliers! SO many photo opportunities inside! The most impressive part of the venue was definitely the food! They served Lamb shank, and it was delicious! Well done to the whole Excellency team!

Don’t often write reviews I leave that to my hubby – doesn’t mince his words and says it how it is. I did however on this occasion feel had to personally write a few lines about my recent experience at “Excellency Midlands (Telford) on 03/08/2109 attended a close family friend’s wedding- WOW! To say I was pleasantly surprised is probably an understatement, to start off the ample car parking was a real relief. Being welcomed by the security guard at the main entrance/ hut was an even bigger surprise, really courteous meant a lot to me. Once inside the venue – it really was one of those “wow” moments, sheer opulence, beautifully well-lit with gold ornate chandelier’s and amazing marble throughout the main foyer, this venue has had some serious makeover and its clearly visible. So … the food – absolutely scrumptious, waiters worked hard to get the food distributed to the 1000+ guests and general hospitality during the evening was superb. left the venue around midnight drove back to Birmingham only to realise at 02:30am – I had lost/misplaced my mobile phone – I was absolutely distraught and an emotional wreck – to some this may come across a little trivial But for me it felt like the end of days – Bless my hubby he reassured me that it would be found and offered to drive back to Telford, hoping cleaners would still be there – we got there around 04:00am and not soul in sight but still glad made the trip – that’s when hubby texted someone and said don’t worry leave it with me. ….8am Sunday morning.. Hubby woke me up to give me the good news my phone had been found and handed to management, we could pick up the mobile – so we decided to drive back to Telford same afternoon to be met by management and reunited with my mobile. As I said for some reading this it may be "oh well lost mobile it happens to loads of people every day", what I really want to reinforce is my gratitude for the honesty and integrity of the management and working staff – hindsight is always a good thing but I do feel good corporate governance was in place and those very values instilled across all sections of the wider venue team. I am truly grateful for my mobile being found and given back to me- Thank you management! Look forward to attending more events in the near future Regards Mrs D Adams

My wedding was initially meant to happen in November 2020, but unfortunately due to Covid and the restrictions in place , I had to reschedule it for 3rd Aug 2021, throughout my whole process of rescheduling dates to work between my hair, makeup artists, Sabrina was amazing and she was really understanding , any questions or queries I had she would make a time available to help me. I had initially booked the Versailles suite but due to the reduction of guests I decided to go with Lotus gardens and I am so glad I did! Everything within my package was provided on the day, from the bbq at the start to the drinks/desserts in the lobby area to every dish of food coming out with sparklers and even having a massive selection of desserts for guests to choose from , all 160 guests at the wedding loved the food and couldn’t fault it in any way, food was piping hot when it came, and all the Asian flavours you needed within your food. Mani was incredible in helping me out and conversing with me throughout the day as well as guiding guests! The cinematographers were perfect and they knew exactly but how to capture each angle to get the perfect shot, they constantly tried to make us laugh as a couple so we did not feel awkward , we also received our video and photos , 1 week after our wedding on the 3rd August and we are so amazed at how perfectly everything was captured. I was even allowed to come the day before at 10:30pm to set everything up in terms of my welcome frames and favours, I couldn’t have worked with a better team and it was so worth it. Please ignore all the negative reviews , I cannot thank the team enough for there efforts. In’Sha’Allah this venue continues to grow.

A fantastic wedding day for my brother in law. Mohammad and his team did an amazing job to make the day very special for everyone. Genuinely excellent, beautiful venue and superb food. If you are looking to get married, give these guys a call, you won't regret it. Food probably best quality I’ve had in any Asian wedding. Venue clearly is big big money, and I’m sure I can’t afford to book wedding here. I wish they reduced their prices so more people could book! I own an asian restaurant in london and we were invited to excellency for the wedding on 2nd jan. The food was out of this world, I have no idea how they make it this nice but from someone who has been in a family restaurant business for 30 years I can honestly say I havent had food like excellency's food anywhere else. Everything was spot on! They do traditional asian food so well is unbelievable. It is my first time writing a review but I am the type of person where I see great work I appreciate it! so well done, its not easy to cater for so many people and to make everyone so pleased! During our meal we watched the acrobats, sufi dancer, fire breather , and bhangra dancers! Most glorious meal i have had in my life! mouth dropping ! you wont have time to get bored at this venue! there is constantly food and entertainment going on! you can tell the owner is very generous! As starters they gave us a massive full leg of lamb that was so delicious! portions are so large. No venue gives full lambs like they do! we were too embarrassed to ask but wouldve loved to take food home. You will have to know good expensive food to enjoy excellencys food! They used top quality! 19.7.19 I attended my nephew’s wedding and absolutely loved it, it is amongst the best venues I have attended and is fab. The staff were kind and polite and nothing was ever to much for them, I had difficulty walking up the stairs and one of the planners directed me to a room that I was able to use to change my children! I didn’t take her name but a big well done. The food, well it was super delicious and nothing short of a 5 star. And NO the food was not cold. Some improvements I will point out, The entertainment was fab and very different, however the ladies doing the fire, could have wore a little more clothes, this is not a criticism but something that u can improve on especially when catering for a Muslim wedding and most definitely if it’s a religious ceremony. The foyer entrance was nothing short of palace, and didn’t feel as if we were sitting in the Wrekin’s, however if main announcements are made perhaps a speaker here so guests know and can hear what’s happening. I missed the announcement for the dessert Damn :-) Also something near the pick and drop off for the buggy so guests know what the wedding theme is what’s planned for the evening and in which direction the BBQ is. These are all very minor improvements and by far it’s been the most outstanding venue I have attended, and I have planned and attended many weddings. Keep up the good work and thank you for making my nephews wedding nothing short of a fantasy becoming a reality. God bless and protect you.

Had my brothers wedding at Excellency Midlands on 9/08/19, and this date will forever be memorable. We had the most amazing time ever at this venue and they definitely made this a very special night for us all which we will never forget! All the staff were absolutely amazing, very respectful and humble. They took care of us all in the best possible way and we wouldn’t change a thing about any of the night. I went there for a wedding Reception on the 19 of July and I was very impressed with everything. To start it off with the venue. What a beautiful venue it is. I was mesmerized by the elegance of it. From the entrance to the end of the hall every detail is done to perfection. The stage, the area for the bride and groom to eat at and the cake display area, WOW. It was in house catering and again everyone on my table was happy with the food. From the pre starters to the dessert everything was cooked to perfection. So a very well done to the cook. And the service of the waiters can not be faulted either. They were polite and helpful to any queries that we had and refills were bought without delay. Best friends wedding was at this Excellency Midlands. I’ve been to other Bolton venue, and as amazing as that was, this is something else! The reception area is pure lavish and the human statues just made the experience insane ! We also had a buggy ride outside which my mum and wife absolutely loved ! The main hall was an actual palace. The waiter service was not the best to be honest, they were slow, and I had to ask four times for drinks to be refilled. But the food was 10/10 and piping hot and fabulous taste ! I was there on saturday for my uncles family wedding and honestly we were all blown away. This place is a hidden gem and its just way too glamorous of a venue for the UK. They had the most insane selection at their lounge area, including macaroons and best cocktails, and the food was to die for!!! I recently went there to attend a wedding so l was a consumer rather than a customer (so cannot comment on prices etc). It is clean, bright and beautifully decorated. It certainly has the wow factor ! In fact l would go so far as to say that it took our breath away when we saw it ! Mixed feelings on this place. Went to a wedding yesterday and the venue definitely delivers on entertainment and the ‘wow’ factor. Having said that it does look like it’s having an identity crisis with a Chinese theme on the outside and Grecian theme on the inside. Moving on to the chairs, I noticed quite a few of them have been stained from curry spillages this is a bit unfortunate as there quite obvious against a white chair. Food was quite nice, lamb chops were tender but the salad was shocking. Some limp salad leaves soaking in old dressing (was obvious the salad had been recycled). A friend had been last week and showed me a picture of the salad they had received-they were worlds apart!!. Poppadoms were soft too and not crispy. Lasty, if your seated on the long table (from my experience) you don’t get to taste all the starters. The top end got all the food, the bottom end got bits and bobs and the middle section (were I was seated) got what was left from either end. Family members after were discussing the starters they had which I didn’t even know were available! Do hope feedback is taken into consideration and improvements are made, as business’s start to fall very short when money that is generated is not invested back into the business. Kind regards.

Best experience I could have asked for. I was the groom at this venue on Saturday 2nd November, during the day, and hands down, I could not have asked for a better service or wedding! All my guests were blown away from the moment they drove into the venue, to the barbecue outside, to the reception area, and then the magnificent Versailles palace that we booked. Best service and help! COVID-19 forced me and my missus to postpone our wedding with great sadness. But honestly Excellency are hands down the best best service I have ever experienced ! They allowed us to reduce our guest numbers, and change dates without any cancellation fees or questions ! Versailles Palace I am absolutely taken back by the turnaround of this venue. We viewed it when it was in the middle of being built and we booked it, based on the images we were shown of how the end product would look. However I am still grateful for the day I was informed about the venue. It truly looks and feels like a Kings and Queens Palace. Welcome Canopies Versailles Palace is a dream venue and everything was extremely magical from the Rolls Royce line up to the helicopter landing. Our guests had started to arrive from 6pm and were amazed by the welcome Lobby and the tastiest canopies from the mock-tails and coffee/tea options to the Fresh bakery, macaroons and stunning fruit display. Entertainment From the moment we entered into the main hall the views and set up were breathtaking. We were completely mesmerised and fascinated by everything from the decor to the table layout including the crockery. All the entertainment was again breathtaking and out of this world from the dj to the violinists, to the Bride and Grooms entrance with the indoor fireworks to the Turkish dancer, to the Entrance for H Dhami to the drummers to the Wedding Cake and the fireworks display. The owners and staff made everything easy for us to suit our day and order of events. Menu and Food Service The menu again was fully extravagant we had 5 salads to begin with which were a mixture of pasta salads and chaat, all tasted really good. These were followed by 7 starters including a whole Lamb Shank for each table - absolutely mesmerising tender and tasted delicious. These were followed by 5 mains after a slight break which was a really graceful way of serving food to allow people a chance to have a break and rest in-between their courses. The desserts were laid out with the dessert canopies which was again a very different way of serving desserts and meant guests can help them-self and take as little or as much as they wanted. I can’t fault the food at all it was extravagant just like the venue and it was absolutely delish. Toilets and Prayer facility The Toilets do not look or feel like usual toilets in wedding venues. Again they look stunning and even the detail of the swan taps on the sinks is mesmerising. A cleaner is always present to ensure the place is clean and the dressing table is just an additional but very useful touch to have in place. The prayer facility is totally amazing as it’s very big and spacious, A very well thought out design. Overall I am totally mesmerised and grateful we booked this amazing venue for my brothers and sis in laws wedding. It truly was a magical start to their wedding. Since this venue was new we understand there were a few teething problems on the day however we have communicated these direct with the owner and I have deliberately chose not to air these in the open. May allah swt bless the owners with immense success and barkat in shaa allah. Thank you so much for an absolutely breath taking experience - you’re doing an amazing job - you have fully taken over the wedding scene and no venue has to offer half let alone all of what you do. Especially the animal enclosure. Such different ideas all under one roof. Wow! I forgot to mention the outdoor Barbeque and shisha hut again all our guests were taken back and were overly happy with the service provided. Where do I start with this place. Had my Walima here on Sunday 28th July. From start to finish everything was fantastic. I first booked the venue back in November 2018 and back then it looked like a construction site with just four walls and wires hanging, however after hearing their vision for the place and knowing their reputation it was a no brainer for me. I live 100 miles away from the place and kept getting told by guests before the wedding that the venue is too far and why have you gone so far, I just told them to turn up on the day and you’ll know why, Mohammed Nasir, Ziggy and the team didn’t let me down. They made sure everything went smoothly. The food and service was absolutely fantastic. Since Sunday I have been getting messages saying this was the best wedding they have ever been to and that wouldn’t be possible without the guys at the venue. We initially had the place booked for 1200 guests however on the day more turned up and they were more than happy to accommodate the extra guests and did so in a quick and efficient manner. I would highly recommend this venue regardless of how far away you live. Once again would like to thank Mohammed Nasir, Ziggy and the rest of the team for proving that grand wedding.

This place is the most grand palace i have ever seen, and i cannot recommend enough! I have just read the below post and i think its completely unfair what the brother is saying. I was at the same wedding, having travelled from Manchester, and i believe this was the most amazing experience of me and my families lives. The left us all speechless. It was just unbelievable. In regards to the food, our table actually had piping hot food, made and served on wooden boats, and the taste and presentation was spot on. My father is a chef himself and he also said the quality of the food was spot on! The table next to us did seem to get their starters much later after us, and they said it was cold, however ours was piping hot and tasted perfect. It was the venues first ever wedding, and we all saw british gas engineers in the venue, due to an apparent gas problem with the kitchen. Give the venue a chance, it was their first wedding and they blew us all away for goodness sake! They smashed it with they their bolton venue, but this is just a different level! take over the game guys inshallah x

The venue is just pure luxury and I'm still telling all my friends. The food was delicious and top standard of meat was clearly used. The chicken should have been spicier but thats just me being picky. The Lamb leg was sooooooooooo delicious and juicy it blew us away! I had my wedding reception here on Sunday 12th October Excellency and all its staff were honestly amazing. The best.. me and the mrs loved everything also the guests were amazed by the venue, food and entertainment. Have to say the best venue in the UK by far. Also if you are thinking of having your wedding and dont want any stress the team Mo, Ziggy, Kalam, Manny and the rest are brilliant to work with and the venue just tops it all off.

The only downfall was helicopter being cancelled due to weather conditions, but I think our car entrance was just the best so we pulled it off with the help of the Management (taking control of parking etc). My cousins wedding was here on 4th August 2019 and honestly, the best walima we have ever seen in our lives.The main thing is always the food, and the food was MAGNIFICENT. Hats off to the chefs and super waitering staff and providing the tastiest, most delicious (the lamb shank was insane) food i have possibly tried. The venue itself, I'm sure everyone knows already, as its the talk of the town, is like an actual palace. Its definitely in a league of its own, and it has a helicopter lol. I mean.... a helicopter!!! how crazy!
