H. Q.Beetham Food expertly catered our wedding in August 21. We knew we were on to a winner when our other suppliers, generator company included, started congratulating us on our choice! The takeaway food we had in lockdown was incredible but was blown out the park by the amazing food on our wedding day! Jamie helped design a menu that was very "us" and exceeded expectations at every level - shout out to the sensational naked wedding cake. We are so grateful for the extra mile that Beethams go with everything. Special mention to Bevan and the front of house team who helped the whole reception to be smooth and hosted with a celebratory atmosphere. What this team pulled off in a pop up kitchen for a marquee wedding in a field is remarkable. Well done and thank you all.
A.Jamie and his team were amazing from the initial enquiry to post event. The food was incredible! We were blown away by the presentation and service. We had so many compliments from our guests about the food and the front of house staff. There was never an empty glass and an endless abundance of food.
We wish we could do the day all over again, and could not recommend them more. We were lucky enough to also sit in as guests a short time later where they did the catering for a friend's wedding. All we can say is that the service was just a impressive as guests as being the hosts. A 5* service and next time we do an event Beetham Food, the first name on the list.
B. M.We had our wedding in Cornwall back in June at Boconnoc House (112 guess) and I wish we could give Jamie, Bevan and his team more than 5 stars! They are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met and are all extremely talented. My husband and I are real foodies and we wanted everyone to genuinely enjoy their meal at our wedding. Every guest came up to us told us ‘it was the best wedding food they’d ever tasted’ and we couldn't agree more. The flavour, presentation and service were superb. What team. We were and still are blown away by Jamie and his team delivered. We can’t recommend them highly enough!
J. P.Only 5 stars for Jamie and his team. They were superb and the food was delicious. The whole process of organising the food with Jamie was also very easy and having a tasting definitely added to the whole experience! We were all drooling over the potato dauphinoise. On the day the operation was slick, well run and the food was outstanding. We had LOADS of canapés and dinner was served promptly, always a plus! The waiting staff were all very attentive and helpful - in particular the head of bar staff who really want above and beyond to make sure that myself and my husband did get to eat the canapés and have a full glass! The little touches in the end make the whole day simply perfect and the food quality was out of this world. Easy to work with, perfect execution in terms of amazing food so all in all you'd be silly not to use Jamie for your wedding catering or any other catering. D. M.We had our wedding in Cornwall a few few weeks ago (marquee wedding, 80 guests) and all absolutely loved Jamie's food. We've had loads of great feedback from guests - even the really fussy ones! Jamie was very easy to work with prior to the big day, and didn't seem to mind when we kept on changing our minds. Jamie has clearly done a lot of weddings in his time - some of his advice and experience was really helpful - he really understood the type of day we wanted.
The canapes were superb - one of my big requirements before the wedding was making sure people were well fed and not too hungry during the drinks reception - I had nothing to be worried about - the canapes just didn't stop coming! Personally, I thought the pork was the best, but I've had a lot of good reports on the lamb and crab-balls as well!
As for the mains, again I thought that having the sharing platters worked perfectly. We heard lots of praise for the beef and the scallops. Personally I thought the skewers were the best. The desert was also perfect. (One of my mates actually had this as the highlight of his day!!)
Last - but by no means least - the team on the day. I really liked them. Bevan seemed to keep things running smoothly. I think the biggest compliment I can give him is that when I mentioned him the next day, my wife didn't know who he was! That isn't meant to be rude to him - the opposite - it shows he did a perfect job in my eyes. As for the rest of the team, just a really nice, professional, friendly lot. I've been to weddings before when the staff just look bored or totally disinterested. Not a bit of it here, they were the perfect hosts.
All in all, we were really impressed with Jamie and his team - keep up the good work - and all the best for the future.
