I got recommended from the Samsung Store High Cross Leicester because Samsung wipe the phone to fix and Firebird Solutions DONT! I'm a builder and my S10e power button and screen was completely cracked and damaged including the back. All I was bothered about was all my important work information on the phone. My Son had purchased a Samsung smart watch which developed an issue with the battery . It would only turn on for a short time but would show it was at 50% battery. I made an appointment with Samsung who stated if it was the battery it would take 3 months as the watch was from Dubai. The member of staff suggested I should try Firebird Solutions as they may be able to do it sooner . I wemt to the shop and met with a very genuine guy by the name of Daffy . I explain my problem and straight away Daffy checked the watch and agreed it was the battery but correctly informed me he would have to fit one first and confirm there were no other issues. I.asked how much and Daffy gave a price . I said I wouldnt be willing to pay that due to the watch being second hand. Daffy understood and offered a large discount to repair with a genuine battery for 60 pounds . I received a call in less than a week from Daffy telling me it wasn't very good news in fact its not even good news ITS FANTASTIC NEWS !!!!! My iPhone 6 wasn’t holding charge, so I thought it needed a new battery. After using Google and reading the glowing reviews for Daffy and Firebird, I set off to see him. I wasn’t disappointed, the good reviews are accurate. Don’t be put off by the shabby shop, Daffy really knows his stuff, cares about customer service and is a perfectionist in the work he carries out. All for a reasonable sum - cash only. A new Apple battery was fitted and a screen saver, as this was cracked, the phone was cleaned and tested and he gave me some valuable advice about not over-charging the phone by plugging it in overnight. Came in by chance as I'm not local to the area and only in Leicester for one day due to work. I dropped my Google Pixel 3A and the screen cracked and the LED stopped working. So I went to a shop to fix it. They said it would take 3-4 days but within that time it wasn't fixed. So after a week of waiting, I cancelled the repair and looked elsewhere.Then I found firebird solutions on Google maps and saw its good reviews and went there. I meet Daffy who fixed my phone within 2 days and at a good price for it. The parts he used were original and the phone looks good as new. In the end I was glad that I cancelled the repair from the previous because they would have probably used a fake screen and using my phone wouldn't be the same as before. Being in a rush during lunch, I had clumsily dropped my Samsung J7 from a doughnut counter while queued up to make my food order in Highcross. I went to retrieve an important barcode from the phone that had special promotion of the day, but the screen had blacked out. I took out the battery and re-inserted it into the phone but nothing worked. I was at my wits end, but remembered my dad taking me to Firebird Solutions many times before to have his own phone fixed and the good service from staff there. Once I got to the phone repair shop, I handed my phone over to Daffy who got to work fixing it straight away. I told him that my phone was a matter of urgency and that it would have to be done in my lunch hour. That was a deadline! He managed to fix the phone within an HOUR and showed me that the BATTERY was damaged and demonstrated what the technical fault was in the most professional and transparent way. I came away feeling on cloud nine. Thank you Daffy!

Daffy and Firebird Solutions is the place to go for mobile phone issues and more than warrants a 5-star rating, I highly recommend him. It was suggested that I try Firebird Solutions following a botched screen replacement on my Samsung S7. Whatever had happened during the replacement resulted in my phones ability to receive a signal to be significantly reduced rendering it virtually useless. The repairer denied any responsibility blaming my service provider. Daffy instantly identified that the screen was already lifting in one corner but couldn’t work out why there was the reduction in the signal. It took him over a week to work out what had happened using different parts and swapping components with another S7 and to his amazement he established that the phone’s mid-frame had been swapped with a cheap inferior product thus missing a number of important contact points hence the reduction in the signal. Daffy is meticulous and obviously did an immense amount of work in tracing the fault on my phone whilst being mindful of the costs being incurred; I am sure he only charged a small proportion of the actual time he spent on it for which I am grateful.

My Samsung Galaxy J6 would not receive any emails and all my memory on my phone and memory card was completely full it was really slow and struggling to do normal things was in a real dilemma as I am a carer for my sister and need urgent point of contact. Took my Huawei P20 Lite in with a cracked back and completely shattered front screen. Daffy did an absolutely amazing job on it and I left with basically a brand new phone, colour changed from black to blue and he replaced the battery and touch ID for me. My daughter dropped her second hand Samsung s6 phone in the bath last week, we had tried the usual drying out in a bag of rice but although the phone was on, the screen was dark. I had been to Firebird Solutions before to fix my Samsung s5 battery a couple of years back & watched him working on another phone meticulously so thought I'd try there again. I was able to make quick contact with Daffy at FS via Facebook messenger initially and brought the phone in on the Monday lunchtime. Daffy clearly explained the process and made no false promises, only that he would have to take a look before knowing more, I agreed to leave it with him for the week. Its important to know that Firebird Solutions used to hold the service and repair contract for Samsung so he knows his stuff. By the Saturday, he had fixed the screen (thereby saving me £130 replacement screen cost) and cleaned up the areas the water had leaked into (sadly S6s are NOT waterproof!) and resealed it good as new! This is no mean feat in my opinion as the new phone units are completely sealed so if you don't know what you're doing you can cause additional damage, plus all the electronics are sited on the back of the screen, so he had worked his magic and we would never know - the phone is crystal clear, works like new and the camera is sharp. My daughter (11) was very impressed and said he has magic hands! I recommend Firebird Solutions as Daffy is meticulous and has a high level of expertise in his field! He is also able to recommend better charging cables, phone cases and screen protectors.

I have no hesitation in recommending Firebird solutions for all your mobile phone needs and repair requirements. Firebird solutions needs to be your first point of call for all your mobile phone requirements. Why I would recommend Firebird Solutions: + I took my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone to one of those corner shop phone 'repair' places (I won't mention the name here) to replace my phone battery. They ended up breaking my screen and inventing some lies about some 'power line' issue. Basically I got the phone in a worse state. They had caused damage to the screen by forcing the housing without warming the glue properly. They also broke the LCD screen in the process. So I was left with a non functioning phone. The owner of the cowboy shop had the cheek to try and sell me a new phone with a discount. + When I took my phone to Daffy I was in safe hands. He took my phone and evaluated the damage and what needed doing to revive the phone. He gave me all the options including fixing the cowboy work from the cowboy 'repair' shop. In the end it made most sense for me to get a new phone which he supplied and for him to clone my old phone onto the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). + Daffy puts himself in your shoes when he is dealing with you. In my case as well as cloning my old phone onto my new phone. He also offered me a heavy duty charging cable, screen protector, memory card and a leather case. So he was one step ahead of me as I was looking to buy these to protect my phone and expand it's use by way of the memory card. + The phone accessories and memory card were branded and not the cheap Chinese imports you get on Amazon and eBay + The service I got com Daffy was very professional and was second to none. His aim was to get me to started where I left off from my old phone. He wasn't happy to give me my me my new phone until the last app had been updated. + please trust me when I implore you to go to Firebird Solutions as a first point of call for all mobile phone needs and repairs. I dropped my phone off, and within 2 hours my phone was fixed ( it was like a brand new phone!) - very quick turn around time. I handed my phone into Daffy and he examined the phone finding out the touchscreen and camera had also been damaged. He went above and beyond to repair my phone with all the correct parts despite this being harder to do due to the uniqueness of the colour. Firebird Solutions to the rescue once again! My wife's Samsung A3 completely locked up. Screen was frozen up. Couldn't get into the phone or access anything. Wife thought it was heading for the phone graveyard but I called Daffy at Firebird without any hesitation because he had worked wonders on previous Samsung phones of mine. He discussed the various options to us but we were more concerned about the data on their phone rather than the phone itself. Daffy was able to do all the repairs without loosing any of the messages/photos/etc. A couple of days later and voila....Phone fixed. Daffy replaced the touchscreen and moved data from the internal memory to the storage card. They only use genuine parts not any of that 'after market' stuff. Phone had been cleaned up leaving it looking and feeling like new. If you've got a problem with your phone then don't think twice about going to Firebird Solutions. Daffy is an experienced and knowledgeable Samsung phone engineer. He offers sound advice and excellent customer service. He even stayed behind late one evening to allow us to collect the phone.

Having had no previous experience with repair shops, I use google to find repair shop in my area, the one that stood out to me based on rating & reviews was without a doubt 'Firebird Solution'. The problem I had on my phone was at first it wasn't charging properly and i had to charge the phone in a certain position for it to charge, however a few days later it completely stop charging at all, so i went to the shop and met Daffy who confirm my suspicion that the phone charging port was completely damaged. Throughout the 5 days Daffy had my phone, he kept me upto date with the progress of the repair, he found that the microphone had also been affected to which he went to great lengths to get it repaired as soon as. I can't thank him enough as he did a tremendous job, and would highly recommend to everyone.

I got in touch with Firebird solutions a few weeks ago now, having purchased a second hand phone which was locked to my SIM, and unsure of how to sort this out. Had a great experience here for sure. Spoke with the main guy Daffy, who provided a professional service and was obviously confident in his business which I always like -I had a good chat with him. I brought him an iPhone 7 with a cracked and malfunctioning screen (graphical artefacts everywhere, touchscreen sending ghost inputs), and within about an hour or so I left the shop with a fully repaired phone. He showed me all of the work he'd done step by step, showed me the internals of the phone before he attached the new screen to the body of the phone, and did diagnostic tests at the end to demonstrate everything was working as intended. He did a proper job as well -glued, clipped, and screwed the screen into place to preserve the proper seal between the two halves. About a week or two later the phone is still working absolutely fine, looking good as new. Would 100% recommend coming here, Daffy knows what he's on about -don't let the obscure location of his shop fool you, he does a good job.

To Daffy, each repair is an intricate work of art - and to him each phone has a presence and life all of its own There are many pop-up hole-in-the-wall shops and stalls where individuals of an unqualified and tenuous nature, claim to be 'phone repair men'. Mostly such people follow YouTube guides, order in replacement parts unnecessarily and charge an arm and a leg. 9 times out of 10, people like that will falsely claim that a phone can't be fixed after a quick try and then try to up-sell you a new phone Those people are not really phone repair experts at all. Not like Daffy! Daffy is a true, self-taught and brand-certified (Nokia, Samsung) expert. Daffy knows how to repair damaged circuit-boards with a soldering iron and microscope Whilst the rest are pretenders who are willing to take you for a spin, Daffy can 'actually' repair a broken phone. When I went in with a water damaged audio-jack, Daffy was quick to take it apart in front of my eyes and show me where the water got in and which parts of the ribbon cable were damaged via corrosion (it was easy to see where the verdigris had set in) Daffy spent hours cleaning the board, re-aligning the pins and where they were too badly damaged, creating new ones out of thin strands of solder (we're talking a hair's breadth here). Daffy also found issues with the phone of which I was previously unaware, and after some extensive work my battery life has improved so much (the issue was some areas of the circuit board making unnecessary contact and thus venting energy). In terms of phone repair jobs, only Daffy in Leicester is qualified. Yes he does charge for his skills, but he knows EXACTLY what he is doing Messed with the rest? Now try the best. There's only one Daffy, there's only one true phone repair man in Leicestershire. If you're sick of pretenders opening and closing your phones and putting the same battery back in (telling you it's a new one), if you're sick of buying new phones when a few hours with an expert could alleviate that need - if you're sick of being taken for a mug by every Tom Dick and Harry, take your phone to Daffy at Firebird Solutions If you don't, you WILL regret it. Had a first class experience with this company today. Took my Galaxy S8 in after it refused to charge. I'd had the screen fixed elsewhere in the summer by a bunch of cowboys leading to all sorts of problems. Daffy went above and beyond to ensure that I could take my phone, which needed to be taken to pieces, home today. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable he was. He was so enthusiastic and passionate about working out what the problem was and how to fix it. It took him at least 4 hours to sort it but despite this he was still really thorough in checking all elements were working before handing it back to me. The official Samsung shop quoted me £800 and 2 weeks to get the job done, warning me that it was more than likely beyond repair given the damage previously done. Dappy did it in an afternoon for a far more reasonable price, especially considering it was a highly complex process involving replacing parts and sorting out the circuit board. BROKEN PHONE? GO HERE FOR PROPER ADVICE AND REPAIRS!!! My Samsung A3 completely stopped working, so I returned it to Carphone Warehouse for a repair under warranty/Geek Squad insurance. Their guy said 'no problem, we'll just swap it - BUT YOU'LL LOSE EVERYTHING ON YOUR PHONE'. Obviously this is totally unacceptable, so I looked for another solution and found Firebird on Google. Discussed the issue with Daffy and he quoted me prices for a repair to the charging port, but warned me that due to the construction it is virtually impossible to get into an A3 without cracking the screen (check out YouTube for proof). After a couple of days Daffy called to say that the charging port was done, but the phone still wouldn't come to life, so he needed to do some further fault finding work on the main circuit board. 24 hours later he'd successfully got it working, all data safe AND he hadn't cracked the screen! Exceptionally helpful when we picked up the phone (Daffy even stayed late because it took an hour to get to the shop). Superb service and genuinely nice guys to deal with

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge had some serious water damage, after reading online reviews decided to take it to this shop and was deffo not disapointed. The phone was in very bad condition with several problems and was close to being written off but Daffy was able to fix it, good as new! He put it through the whole chemical process to get all the water out and removed water damage, put in a new USB port, fixed the LCD (which meant it didnt have to pay £250+ for a whole new screen) which was a big job done in less than 2 days and for a very reasonable price! The Virgin Media store on Gallowtree Gate recommended me to see Firebird Solutions as I needed all my data from 3 devices > 2 Sony phone’s and 1 Huawei tablet to be merged together and organised for a photo album to be produced by the Printers. The photo album created were memoirs of my partner which had sentimental value to me and therefore priceless. The funeral was going to be in less than 2 days so had to get it done very fast. From the combination of all the data, we chose the photos we wanted for the funeral service so that the Printers could create an album for people to see in memory of my beloved partner. The task was painstakingly difficult as time was a scale factor. The Sony phone's memory was full and was out of date and very slow. Daffy merged all the data on to a 64gb memory card in such a short space of time and made it a priority. I purchased a new up to date phone from Firebird a Samsung Galaxy S7 32gb which Daffy set up exactly as I wanted it. Now all my information such as Emails Texts Contacts Pictures Calendar entries etc... are organised into one master phone so no need to carry all three devices which I was doing. Anyone wishing to have their phone repaired, data organised or recovered, Daffy certainly has the skill and knowledge to assist. This is a premium service and worth every penny. I love my new Samsung S7 phone. I can't get over it and not used to having nice stuff and things going my way. Permanently closed? Thats a joke! The shop is open. I went to repair my cracked iPhone 6 screen few days ago. In fact, i went in when the shop was closing, but Daffy worked beyond his official hours just to repair my screen (right in front of me). I have a slightly outdated Samsung Wave which I use as a second phone. It decided to go into a re-booting loop, so was useless. Amazing experience!! what daffy can do with a phone is unreal. I had a Samsung S4 which was practically dead with motherboard issues, chip problem, power button was dead and water damage. After going to at least 4 mobile phone shops who all had no idea what to do or were coming out with complete bull****, one shop that I handed my phone to for repair gave it back after 4 days telling me that it wasn't the power button when in fact they tried repairing it but failed miserably. so I found fire bird solutions online, thought I'd give them a ring, Daffy picked up and was very straightforward knew exactly what the problem was just by me telling him what was going wrong with the phone, I went to the store, and he opened the phone in front of me telling me whats wrong and how hell fix it.... later on I received a phone call form Daffy telling me the phone is up and working, honestly I don't know how he does it but definitely the only person in around Leicester and Cambridgeshire that knows how to handle and fix a phone.

Brought my LG G5 that had a fingerprint button that didn't function and wouldn't hold a charge into firebird solutions where I was met by Daffy who had the phone repaired affer 48 hours and wanted me to come back to make sure it was up to scratch before signing off on the job being complete. The G5 isn't the easiest phone to open up so £70 to solve the water damage issue wasn't bad. As the phone was still under warranty he recommended sending it back to LG to solve the fast charging issue (he made sure the phone could charge to 100% using a regular charger) as I'd then get a new battery without paying more as water damage isn't covered by warranty. All in all I'm happy with the service and would go back to Daffy again .

Brilliant service! I dropped my Lumia 930 onto the floor, causing the back cover to become unclipped. The metal frame also became bent. Within an hour my phone was repaired. Daffy explained and showed me what he was doing throughout, along with explaining that the clip that holds the cover on might snap if he tried to straighten it, and asked me if I wanted him to continue, even with the risk of it snapping. He was extremely careful throughout the process of fixing the phone, and nothing was rushed. They definitely do put the customer first. You will not find a better repair centre for your phone. Thank you very much to Daffy and his colleagues for the excellent service received when I handed my Galaxy 4 in for repair. Was given company as official repair agents direct from Samsung, so had no concerns about using to carryout the repair instead of wasting several weeks if returned to network who would probably have used their own repair department. Phone was repaired and collected within 48 hours instead of 2-3 weeks if I had returned it to Samsung for repair under warranty. As soon as I explained what problems I had, I was told if not the problem with battery, may be Was about to try and get a loan phone when I received a call that the repair had been completed.

I think it would be useful to give you a bit of a background; my phone is a Nexus 5X and went into bootloop (as most Nexus 5Xs have done - if your phone does that, LG replaces them for free even if your warranty has expired FYI), so I took it to Firebird due to the great reviews. Daffy recovered my data although my phone was beyond saving (not even LG can fix it, that's why they're replacing them). He also warned me that the phone would not last and I should get a new one, and he was right about that. What impressed me though wasn't Daffy's skills - you can read the other reviews for that. It's that when a misunderstanding arose and he immediately called me and asked me to come over for us to resolve it face to face. When I did, both of them took me step by step about what happened and explained everything, even though it was past their closing time. Highly recommend the service and knowledge of this company. Went in with a Samsung S6 which had stopped working after being dropped. Originally went to the Samsung store in Highcross who are currently unable to do repairs. However the guy gave me details for firebird solutions. It was 5.45 on Friday evening when I got there and the shutters were all closed. Fortunately I met up with the team just as they leaving through the back entrance. Daffy invited me in and saw that the back case and the front had a small hairline crack. Told me that parts would arrive by Tuesday and also the cost of the repair. Got a call on Tuesday from Daffy saying that the camera was also not working. Had one in stock so fitted that as well. By Wednesday everything had been tested and was ready for collection. Could not make it until 7pm but Daffy waited around. Once there we checked that everything was working fine ie calls, Internet, sending whatsapp messages. Great Customer Service! I would highly recommend this store if your mobile phone isn't working or if you think it needs repairing. The two gentlemen working there are helpful and informative. As well as repairing your phone they offer accessories such as Glass Screen Protectors and Chargers and more at reasonable prices compared to retail and network stores. Couldn't be happier with the service here!! Had a problem with my phone, and after being quoted a ridiculous amount to fix it at the Samsung shop in the High Cross, I tried here instead. Daffy understood straight away what the problem was, explained to me clearly what needed to be done, and told me that it would cost a fraction of the price the Samsung shop was asking. After searching around the internet for a reputable and local Samsung authorised mobile phone repairer to repair the USB charging port on my Samsung S3, I found Firebird Ltd in Leicester. I had rang one of the larger Samsung authorised repairers in Birmingham but just got through to a receptionist who kept transferring me back to Samsung UK who referred me back to this Birmingham repairer who transfererd me back! Very annoying!! You just cannot get to talk to anyone at all, just e-mail. If you are like me, I prefer to actually talk to someone to save me any wasted time. Surely this is just basic good customer service? In the end I gave up & decided to bring give Firebird a call. I spoke to Dappy. He was really helpful and when I told him the issue with my mobile, he explained what the problem could be. Im very fussy who I go to but based upon my impressions from the initial call, I decided to go to Firebird. Im so glad I did. I dropped my mobile in, completed the form and came back next day to collect my phone. Dappy even rang me the same day in the evening to let me know my mobile was ready. When I went in, Dappy came out and went through all the work he did on the mobile including recommending a better charger. Dappy even cleaned it for me. I found that Dappy was genuinely really interested in making time for me and his customers. So if your thinking who to take your Samsung or Nokia to (they are also an authorised Nokia Service Centre), dont hesitate at all, just take it to Firebird. They will look after you. Since I had my mobile repaired, my daughter cracked her screen on her Nokia Lumia 820. I recommended that she take it straight to Firebird. I'll update you on her experience....

My 4th generation iPod classic stopped functioning and when I connected it to itunes it indicated I had to restore it. Without restroring it I disconnected it however I was shocked to find all 16GB of my songs and videos were gone! I took it to the apple shop but they said the hard drive was gone which would cost around £200 to replace and because it was an old model there wasn't much I could do. All hope was lost and I no longer had 7 years worth of music and videos, I visted forums and websites but every site indicated there wasn`t anything I could do until I went into Firebird Solutions Ltd. I was greeted Daffy who said he would have a look at it. I didn't have high hopes at the time due to my previous conversation with the apple shop. After one week I went to collect after phoning Daffy during the week, Daffy explained it was becoming less likely to be recovered. Much to my delight Daffy had recovered all the data after opening up the iPod and performing a data recovery. I was extremely impressed with the service and the fact 7 years of data had been recovered when it seemed highly unlikely, 100% recommended shop!!

I met two staff, both of whom were very polite and chatty. Top marks for Daffy btw who also repaired other stuff I wasn't even aware was wrong (or going wrong) with the phone. I'm hoping NOT to meet them again but that is meant in the nicest possible way. Having found (beyond any doubt) that Nokia Lumia phones do not bounce, I tried a local (melton) repair place, who assured me that they could fix the screen and not the LCD. After 3 weeks and many assurances, I found that in fact they couldn't, and couldn't even get the spares required. I then tried one in Leicester who couldn't get the spares. Then I was thankfully put in touch with FIREBIRD SOLUTIONS!! They not only had the parts, they were also able to repair the phone within 45 MINUTES and at a lower cost than I had previously been quoted!! warranty work on my sons Nokia Lumina . registered the other month with Nokia who emailed service number and list of centres to phone but I only just got round to sorting it Closest being Leicester. Rang this morning and due to travel they agreed to fix it while we stayed in Leicester. Only took just over 2 hours to resolder the power button (common fault) They even removed the Sim card and gave it back for security and brought the soldered board out to show before reassembly. Cant speak highly enough in this day and age of often poor service and long delays.
