I was particularly pleased they were able to fix an ipad mini 2 with a new battery - and it cost just £45, Apple's online price £300. I've brought in several mobiles with broken screens in the last couple of years, belonging to my children, and as with the ipad they give you a price, and stick to it, and turn the job round quickly. Also give customers good advice about not over-charging a battery ie remove when reaches 100%.

Trying to teach piano on Skype presented me with huge techno problems with equipment that I couldn't cope with myself. So much needed attending to, with my mobile and computer but problems solved; despite me bursting in and interrupting them when they were busy, they never complained. I bought a second computer from them, problems connecting my printer to it and no idea how to transfer information from one computer to the other but they helped me out with as much as they could. I'm sure I was a nuisance but they didn't show it for a minute. Would highly recommend Microtech, customer relations are superb.

10 STARS!!!! Fixed my Microsoft Surface Pro saving me £450 at the Microsoft store as well as weeks of work on my PhD thesis! Super professional and amazing customer service, kept in touch with me throughout the process and even asked if the fee was okay before doing the repairs! Literally no one else in all of greater Manchester would take this PC because it's so notoriously difficult to get into and repair and these guys got it fixed in 2 days including having to specifically order a part in for me! Best £75 I've ever spent. If it wasn't for covid, I would have kissed you over the counter!

Nice staff, fast repair, low quality. The iPhone screen is not real, so if you edit videos or photos on your phone, get more expensive authentic repair. The colour on the screen does not show and so it’s very grey.

The technical staff, especially Zishan, is knowledgeable. In the last few months, I took in couple of laptops for repair. He did excellent job on those. One MacBookAir (7yrs old, Apple wouldn't touch) did not work for long after a repair. He refunded the whole amount in full. We are lucky to have such a shop nearby where you know the job will be done well at a fair price.

Good service, given 2 options, replacement phone screen today all in £80, or wait a couple of days for delivery from a cheaper supplier £65 fitted. I'm mean and waited! They rang me as soon as it was in. And an hour and a half after handing them my phone they called me back to say it was mended. Phone is good as new. I can't see any signs of it being taken apart and reassembled.Pleasant staff and More importantly__competent!

These guys are truly fantastic, they sorted all my family's laptops out, screens, keyboards the lot over the years! Super friendly and more importantly honest staff who for sure you can trust as they'll give you a good price before committing to repair. If they can't do it or if it's too expensive they'll tell you straight. Ignore negative reviews, there's a couple of obviously fake reviews using American English which I suspect are paid for negative reviews from a competitor or at the very least mistaken identity. They really are top notch at Microtech, it's the only repair shop I use and I live miles away and I've been a repeat customer for years! Thanks guys!

Great service. Took my phone to 2 shops and they said it was finished. I thought I would give it one last try at Microtech because someone I knew recommended it. After a few days I realised there was an issue with my screen but as I was busy I couldn't get back to the shop until over 2 weeks. I got my phone fixed over the weekend - excellent service, brilliant price. I was told to give it ~35 minutes and came back after 30 and it was already done. I went to 6 (yes, SIX) other phone shops with my water-damaged Samsung Galaxy S4. It wouldn't charge or turn on, despite trying a brand new battery. I was told by every one of them that the phone was irreparable and my 400+ precious photos of friends, family and a recent holiday to Australia would never be able to be recovered. Finally, in desperation, I decided to have one more try and chose Microtech. Wow! Not only did he fix the phone, it still works perfectly 5 months later and all of my photos were completely intact!! THANK YOU! I can't recommend the service here enough! He tried every trick in the book to fix my phone and the rates were really reasonable, too. Don't hesitate to use Microtech. There are so many "repair" shops out there but these guys really know their stuff!

Came here to get a Samsung Galaxy note 4 rear camera repaired. I just want to share with everyone the truth and show how glad i am with the service provided by microtech .The only phone shop that could fix my phone .Not even samsung could fix it because the phone was manufactured out of europe .Most of the phone shops offered to replace the screen but it would be a fake one .This shop and special credit to zishan he fixed my phone for the half the value and provided me with an original amoled samsung display.This guy knows what he s dooing .All the parts are genuine and the service is outstanding !I Truley recomend !

I dropped a rather expensive uninsured sim-free phone in some water (it wasn't the toilet, honest guv). After 3 days in a tupperware of rice and no improvement, I feared the worst. I called round a couple of places who told me they could replace the screen and digitizer for £100+ but there was no guarantee that it would work. Then Microtech offered to take a look at it for free - if they couldn't fix it then they wouldn't charge. In the end, they fixed the phone without replacing the screen saving me a fair few quid in the process. Great service. Recommended.
