What fantastic service and professional. The damaged screen on my iPhone 13 was replaced in about 25 minutes. In addition they noted that I had a screen protector fitted and asked if I would like them to fit a screen protector to the new screen free of charge. Repair is 100%. Very highly recommended! Received a quick quote of £164 for screen replacement of a Galaxy S10. This was the cheapest I found. Staff are super friendly, only issue I have at the minute, will edit if and when able to, they quoted an hour on email but when I dropped the phone off was over 2hrs just to be told when I arrived 2hrs later that there was an issue with the screen and a new one should be in store about 45mins later so the phone will be another 2hrs. A phone call to explain this would have been nice. Once picked the phone up I noticed the back was not glued down properly, they added more glue so I am expecting the back of the phone will fall off. Waiting the 2hrs advised to let the glue dry. Staff were friendly to me, hopefully I won't have issues with the back case of the phone.

If you want a cheap fix go here, but remember buy right or buy twice. I made the mistake of looking for a quick fix having been told by Apple it would be £349 for a screen replacement. Looked to these guys and in terms of service it was brilliant, fast turnaround, good price etc, the only issue is quality of products used, be aware that if your changing from a genuine apple screen to one that these guys will fit the quality will not be the same or anywhere close, the screens used are very cheap LCD screens, your iPhone comes with a Super Retina OLED display, which at first didn’t sound like a problem to me either, until I started to get headaches from looking at the screen. Also, you will have a notification on your phone that a genuine screen has not been installed which will affect the price you get if you plan on selling. I ended up after a week having to go to apple because the headaches weren’t easing off, I was very lucky though, because of the poor quality screen, when apple tried to replace it, the phone ended up breaking all together, so apple gave me a brand new one, so the money I have paid to these guys has paid for a new phone with new battery etc. Lesson learned, don’t be a cheap skate and get the job done properly first time. But if you want a cheap screen putting on go here, fast and very reasonably priced.

Was hesitant to use this company to fix a PS5 which another well know company was unable change the hdmi and repair severe track damage. Dropped the PlayStation off at 12:00 called at 15:00 hrs to say it could be repaired and collected it in full working order a couple of hours later cheaper than the other company Staff were friendly and very helpful. Can’t even begin to explain how amazing these guys are! After attempting to get my laptop fixed elsewhere and ending up with a completely broken laptop I entered their store worried and stressed about my macbook. They immediately knew the situation and proceeded to quote me a price (much cheeper than anywhere else) with no additional cost! This is including the time and effort to fix the damage made from the previous shop I’d been too. Their selflessness meant that my laptop was not only fixed for its initial problem but also corrected to make sure any damage made by the previous shop was also sorted (which ended up taking them 2 extra days, and 11 more part). I will make sure to sing their songs of praise as their technicians are some of the best Ive ever seen! And their kindness to fix a problem that wasn’t theirs to fix will not go unnoticed ! So quick I had an issue with the motherboard of my phone (that's what they said it was) and gave it in the day before (7pm). Literally took less than 24 hours to fix (fixed by 6pm). Really great shop Came in with a broken iPhone X screen where they replaced it within 20 mins and gave me a free screen protector which was fitted for me perfectly. Noticed the next day that a couple of bits at the bottom of the screen weren’t touching properly and the screen was looking a bit orange, took it back in where they were more than happy to refit it so that the issues were quickly resolved. Really amazing service, very friendly Staff and amazing prices. Will definitely be recommending to all my friends!

The service was okay. The price was relatively okay for fixing an HDMI port. However, upon trying the new port, it didn’t work anyway, and had to fiddle around and fix it myself. In the end, it did allow for my screen to come up so I’ll give them that but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I came here a few months ago and they repaired my iPhone screen. The price was good, and my phone was fine by then, but after a while I realized my back camera has some dark dots on and they show up on every photo I take, and my front camera always looks foggy. I can deal with that. But recently my screen starts moving by itself occasionally and it stops reacting till I lock my screen and reopen it. I have got my phone screen fixed a lot of times (yep I have shaky hands) and these have never happened. I only got my phone 2 years ago so it’s not that l old neither. Still, they have a really good price and it’s in walking distance to everything, but l you might want to make sure your phone can last for more than just a few months before you go.

My laptop screen broke due to my carelessness and faulty tech design. The company diagnosed the cause/root of the problem and fixed it for me. I can't lie that it took a little over a week for me personally, but my laptop is from a foreign company with parts not made in the UK. So the company has to outsource different buyers and sellers to find me a screen replacement AND find a connector for me. (Connector was payed out of their pocket. Thus company only cares about the customer and it really shows. The customer service and interaction is the best part of tyne tech and they deserve to prosper because of it! Do you have a problem with your Mac and you need help very quickly? Look no further. You have found the right place. The specialists at TyneTech Repairs Newcastle will help you! Bottle of water had leaked in my bag and caused severe liquid damage on my MacBook Pro 2017 13 inch. The water got inside the Retina display and the screen did not light up anymore. Another repair shop that I contacted claimed the damage was beyond repair. In a state of despair I contacted TyneTech Repairs hoping that they would be able to help me and they absolutely did! I could not have had any more positive experience. They immediately got in touch and had a look at the MacBook as soon as I arrived, ran various diagnostics to find out what the fault was. It turned out that the logic board was still functioning but required cleaning to remove corrosion and the screen would need to be replaced. The replacement screen was delivered within next day and I was able to collect the MacBook immediately on the same day. The total price for all of this was extremely reasonable. On a final note, I would like to add that the staff working at TyneTech Repairs are not only highly competent and helpful, but also very welcoming, polite, and friendly. In total, the repair service was extremely professional, quick, and reasonably priced. I needed an iphone screen replaced in the same day and initially spent some time phoning around a few well known, big named places for a quote and idea how quickly they would be able to get it done, the prices varied from £119-200 and they could not guarantee how long it would be, and that was if i could even get through to speak to someone in store! My experience with Tyne Tech was completely different, call was answered quickly by someone who knew what they were talking about and told me it would take 20 mins. So I popped down in store and was surprised to find myself being promptly met by staff who were thorough in asking me about the phone and told me the cost and time I would need to wait, and sure enough 20 minutes later I had a replaced screen and happily paid for a first rate service. I can not recommend them enough. I wish everything was this easy and straightforward.

Absolutely fantastic service from the staff here, I put my water damaged phone in for repair for a smashed screen, head phone jack, charging port and in ear speaker problems and 2 hours later I got a text saying my phone is ready to be collected, this is the first time I’ve ever had to have a phone repaired and the service I received was brilliant. I used TyneTech yesterday for the first time to fix two dead phones. One phone was smashed up, the other had been lost, found, stomped on before being reunited with us. It looked dead and there was no display. I thought I will be laughed at the shop. But no. The guys in the shop were so friendly, helpful and optimistic that they could repair both phones. The biggest plus is the very friendly and helpful staff. I had my iPad Air screen replaced, very quick service. Unfortunately the button was a bit stiff and they replaced the screen again very promptly and under warranty. The digitiser then developed a fault after several weeks of working perfectly and they were very helpful and replaced it again free of charge. The problems I encountered were not something that they caused but they dealt with them perfectly. Very good customer service. Customer service when things are going wrong is an even better gauge as to the quality of the service and the people at Tyne Tech. I will definitely recommend these guys to anyone who needs them. Have to say he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to fixing phones thought i was just walking in and getting a new screen put on. He done tests on my phone and told me what was broke which I had a idea they were already. The screen kept freezing and he said that could be a problem even if he fixes the screen a said it was fine he then said I need to give your phone a good clean and if it was in bad condition inside he wouldn’t fix the screen as wouldn’t be worth it any other shop I think would of just took my money and put the screen on, anyways my phone is fixedthe home button works now and the sound sounds louder thanks
