A very well presented store with an extensive selection of Islamic books, clothes, art decor, scarves, abbayas, perfumes - the list goes on! This really is a one stop shop for any Islamic related shopping. The staff are also friendly and knowledgable, I was able to get some great advice and goods for my hajj trip and more recently, bought some nice quality gifts for my family and friends. My main feedback would be that prices are on the upper end of the scale at Amsons, especially now with other Islamic shops such as Ben Harad and Almanaar also within a short walk on Coventry Road (Birmingham), I would advise shopping around for competitive prices. I also feel that Amson's refund policy favours them as the retailer - exchange only is not a flexible policy for your customers! Other than this, I hope that Amson's continue to expand their offering and pass on savings to their customers, Inshallah! All the best :)

Great store that has helped many Muslims and will hopefully continue to do so. It is important in times like this to have Islamic book and clothes store that remind people of their Muslim identity. I have met the owner and would like to thank him for importing goods for so many years. It must have been tough with the racism back in those days.Yet he struggled so that we can not forget our religion. It would be sad to see such a store disappear and I hope to continue shopping here for many years to come In shaa Allah and Jazak Allah Khair

I visited early October 2021. Mashallah still the creme of the crop store on Coventry Road. Even though other later bigger and bolder stores have surfaced. Its customer service is second to none and that's what I expect in an truly muslim shop. Good manners and smiles were the entire shopping experience. I couldn't fault the store. It was a delight to see the stock even my 16yr old son was amazed by a blouse I purchased to wear over a jilbab from there. He was shocked that an asian store had such a beautiful piece. I found a beautiful modern abaya straight away and not just one either, a few infact. Didn't find anything that took my fancy in the two other over sizes competitor shops on that stretch. A delightful shopoing experience with great staff and courteous assistance who couldn't do enough to help.

The range of abayas for women and the styles for men are varied...lots of colours and price ranges to choose from. Quality is dependent on what you are willing to pay. Good bargains to be had if you are lucky enough to find them...all the staff were brilliant and patient. Would definitely visit again....not now though spend way too much.!!!

Just thought to share an honest review relating to our experience of this store. We visited Amsons Islamic Store (Bradford) yesterday (22/03/2020) and were welcomed very kindly. The store being an Islamic Store was presented in such a nice way from the layout to the overall structure and products offered. In what Amsons specialise in are fabulous and of great quality products. The range of clothing that is offered is mind-blowing and the especially the quantity of each item. Would definitely recommend this to anyone of all backgrounds as it was an amazing shopping experience for us and will definitely be visiting more frequently. Kind Regards Tufail

Best Islamic Store in the UK. Know the brothers very well extremely humble and hardworking. Their stock is market leading. I visit everytime I go to Birmingham, its must for all Muslims and Non-Muslim, there's something for everyone.

I come to this store sometimes when visiting Birmingham. Nice large store for Islamic themed items. Great products but high prices. Good selection of Attar and room sprays. But do check the date of expiry as I picked up one Al-Rehab room spray Istanbul Rose and the expiry date was 2013 - that expired 5 years ago !!! The owners need to check their stock more regularly I think. All in all a good store but the staff could be better sometimes. There are lot more similar themed stores further down the road so competition is getting stronger so customer service is key to success.

My first time visit here to browse for books and beautiful oudh collection. I have to say this place has everything you would want for your home and yourself. A big collection of books was a pleasant surprise for me, books on all islamic topics, a good collection of islamic perfumery and oudh. Prices is competitive but could be better. The staff experience is as always with such places... its totally DRY with customers. no salaam, no eye contact, no initiative to help customers unless you ask then someone will try to help. Overall good experience to visit.

A nice place for Islamic products but I will not touch some of the books because they are Sufi books and are full of biddah stick to the salafi stores for Islamic books. I usually buy hijabs and thobes and albaya because they are good quality and are just right for the kids and adults and I also buy my black seed oil from here.

Purchased some hijaabs from Amsons, really is best quality around. Hands down. Okay, they are a little pricey - but I've wasted money at their competitors shop buying cheaper scarves and regretting it big time!! The brother gave me a very lengthy explanation behind the quality of their scarves, and to be honest I thought it was a sales pitch until I brought similar looking product from their competitors and was utterly disappointed. Lesson learnt!

Can get a variety of islamic products from here but it is more expensive than other islamic stores in Birmingham. You can get Books, Cds, frames, Attar, islamic clothing for Men, Women and children. They have a wide range of hijabs which is useful when you need one to match an outfit. It has no car park so you will have to park on a side road, weekends are normally very busy around that area.

Nice shop, however extortionate prices. The Furniture shop on alum rock rd is 100x better. They have the same stuff but at cheaper prices. My friend in Turkey told me that some frames costing 300 liras is sold for over £1000. At the furniture shop you can get a nice frame for around £75. However if you like cosmetics, then amsons is the place - along with high prices. If you like value for money, then the furniture shop is the one.

I begged and pleaded with her day after day But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket. I put my Walkman on and said, "I might as well kick it." First class, yo, this is bad Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass. Is this what the people of Bel-Air living like? Hmm, this might be alright. But wait I hear they're prissy, bourgeois, all that Is this the type of place that they just send this cool cat? I don't think so I'll see when I get there I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air Well, the plane landed and when I came out There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out I ain't trying to get arrested yet I just got here I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said "Fresh" and it had dice in the mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I thought, "Nah, forget it." – "Yo, home to Bel-Air." I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 And I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo home smell ya later." I looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel-Air
