I rarely go there as I am a regular at a different church, but I go on occassion and it is brilliant, wish that was my regular church but I don't have a say in which one I go to. I loved seeing Govna B too!

Best Church in Birmingham! The community this young church has built is outstanding and the work they do in the community is what church is all about. I would recommend that anyone looking for a church in Birmingham visit gas street.

For a church this is pretty exciting. The worship is very good with excellent music and a strong sense of the presence of God. The building is a converted gas works, all very urban and edgy. They have a strong commitment to the arts so look out for their events around festivals like Good Friday. The people are friendly and welcoming, so go along and see.

I started coming to Gas Street during the 9 months I lived in Birmingham and loved the worship, services etc. The one thing that stood out was the friendliness. Its a living church and since leaving Birmingham early last year and moving to Salisbury it is still my church through the online services offered through the lockdowns and restrictions.

Definitely 5 stars, but if I could rate it 10 out of 5 stars that would be more accurate! From the minute I walk through the doors, I can feel God's presence. Every single person is genuinely happy to be there, and this creates an amazing atmosphere that I haven't experienced anywhere else. The entire service is full of worship. The music is centered around the spirit and the preaching is always applicable and heart felt. Their online gatherings have been brilliant and they're by far the highlight of my week. Whether the gathering is online or before lockdown, I am always sad when it finishes because it was so good. Sounds a bit cringey but Gas Street Church is by far my favourite place on earth. They have certainly inspired me and my family in many ways. When ever I attend, I don't stop talking about Gas Street with practically anyone I meet. I have experienced a joy here that I never thought I'd experience. Thank you for all of your amazing work!!

The worship is loud and energetic, it felt like a rock concert. The congregation are welcoming and there's coffee and cake. The preaching was sound and I will visit again.

We relocated from Yorkshire in August 2018 and tried out this church amongst others and have become regulars with our three kids age 3-7. It’s a modern take on the Church of England, not stuffy, liturgy where appropriate and a lot of joy and hope the test of the time.
It’s encouraging to see an equal male female leadership modelled from the front with excellent bible teaching.
There is a warm welcome with monthly lunch for people looking to make gas street their church community and every Sunday bacon rolls and fresh coffee a lifesaver at 0930 service for us.
There is awesome authentic worship every time we’ve been led by some amazing musicians; the vicar Tim Hughes past experience as a worship leader and musician is clear in the professional level of music team production.
The youth and children’s activities are very well organised and resourced which enabled us to get stuck into the service without worrying about our children settling in.
We were encouraged to see genuine social action in the community and joined many volunteers serving a Christmas dinner in partnership with a local charity to hundreds of vulnerable and homeless people.
I can’t wait to get into a community group.

I was visiting Birmingham from Dallas-Texas on Sunday July 22nd and visited for a Sunday Evening Service. I was greeted by several people before and during the Services. Great Praise, Great Pastors!
Anyone who Loves Jesus, Loves God, Loves to Worship, will be welcomed to join in the Praise at Gas Street Church.
Fasting and Sunday Evening Praise Services have been removed from a lot of U.S. Churches, but it is Alive at Gas Light.
Refreshing to see a Church who truly Loves God.

Went to a womans conference. Loved what was preach. Place wasvbigger than it looks on the inside. God was in the house, doing business with His people. A place of good fellowship, a good message, charismatic worship, people who want to meet with God.

Really impressed by my time at Gas Street. They know how to make guests feel welcome. The level of excellence displayed throughout all aspects of their gatherings was great. More churches need to be like this.

Probably one of the best art ezhibitions I've seen in Birmingham in the entire 4 years I've been here. I'm not religious but they made sure the acoustic of the music mixed with the different mediums of art worked amazingly with this gallery displaying Cheistian religion. It was very touching for an athiest.

Incredible church, the worship is amazing, as are the sermons and the building is beautiful. More importantly the community is amazing, could not have anymore love for this amazing place.

(Translated) A holy and full of energy place for someone like me who first enters the church and sees and knows his true God as he was and is. My soul has calmed down a lot and now I have a special peace. I will always go here
