Well worth visiting. In the old part of the church there are early Morris company window designs (1862).

Attended Sunday Mass. St Michael's is my place of worship. A beautiful church, with many hidden treasures. A must see for all visitors visiting Brighton.

Amazing architecture, leaded light windows and Sussex granite with loads of fossils in it.

A quiet house of the lord like any other church but is surrounded by houses.

Fabulous concert, but the church itself was freezing: so cold that it detracted from the superb music and soloist

St Michaels & All Angels is two churches in one, the first being by Bodley in 1862 and the enlarged "new" church being by Burges and completed in 1893 after his death. It is known as "the cathedral of the backstreets" for its astounding architecture in the style of Amiens Cathedral and others. This Grade one listed building's main claim to fame is the stunning Pre-Raphaelite glass by Wiliiam Morris, Burne -Jones, Rossetti, Philip Webb and others. I recommend a visit on Saturday between 10 am and 4pm; preceded by a superb fried breakfast in the adjacent hall between 9am and 10.30 am

(Translated) It's Saturday and I'm here, is a very beautiful church in its architecture. Saturday morning in the dining room and offer open their English breakfast only £ 3 for those who can not pay more. Several tables in the dining room are generally older people who gather to chat and receive you with love.

(Translated) Unfortunately we couldn’t go in because it was locked up, even though we wanted to see it inside as well.

Sajnos nem tudtunk bemenni, mert be volt zárva, pedig szerettük volna megnézni belülről is.
