J. D.This impressive church dates from 13th century with squint, tombs with effigies and exquisite Victorian windows. There is a beautifully embroidered framed bier cloth. The churchyard is extensive with interesting headstones of all dates.

J. a. T. M.We visited St Mary's Church to look for my husband's mothers grave 17 years ago and we found it by a small headstone. The Churchyard was clean and tidy. This time we visited (February 2022) the Church had gates on the door entrance padlocked, the graveyard had fallen into disrepair, headstones missing, broken and plots unrecognisable, hence, we could not find his mother's grave. So sad and Yatton is not the place it was.
