Nice old church, visited for the first time. Sad to see a old disused duvet in the churchyard and it is known for people hanging around who can be a little intimidating, however I had no problems. Inside was busy with a cafe and a few colourful characters, no one asked me my business or approached me in a friendly way so I took some great photos and explored. Found the door to the bell tower. Would love the chance to go to the top of I ever get the chance. Don't be scared pop in and explore fantastic font, stain glass window from the old Derbyshire Royal Infirmary and a ww1 memorial. Local history on your doorstep.

The Church is open and almost back to normal service. Amazing building and great people.

A building steeped in history. Very welcoming church goers who will happily tell you about the church and it's long history

In these difficult and unprecedented times, just when you think no one cares, the system which you had paid into lets you down and your whole world comes crashing down in a blink of an eye. With no fault of your own!
Friends and family turn their backs and cut of ties. St Peter's Church came to my rescue.
A natural ray of light from God's Kingdom.
I simply cannot express my gratitude to you all.
May you all stay blessed and safe in these dark times.

Lovely church - entrance at the side, via their communities projects office, ask to see the church interior.

Attending a course here and from the point of view as a conference venue I can't fault it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and spacious. The church itself is a pleasant place; modern yet traditional all at the same time! The modernisation has been very tastefully done.

This Church is very nice, clean and well kept. The vicar/staff are very kind and helpful. The accompanying facilities are a great venue for events or to book a room for meetings. Some big rooms and some small.

St Peter's in the City is a Church of England parish church in the city of Derby, UK. It is one of Derby's city centre churches which is in full use for worship. The church building dates from the 11th century. The tower has a peal of eight bells, which are rung before the Sunday morning services. The church and its boundary walls were awarded Grade II* listed status in 1952.
