Fr Mark Morris is a fine and hard working priest offering a great many Masses in a day and ensuring that Confession is widely available. The parishioners also went to great efforts to make me feel welcome there.
I thoroughly recommend this parish and will definitely visit it on my next visit to Glasgow.
G. W.Immaculate Heart is a great Parish. The parish priest, Fr Morris, is very kindly, hardworking and "solid" in terms of the Catholic faith. There is a dynamism about him and his parish, a real sense of purpose which is sadly lacking in so many parishes today.
Fr has a traditional outlook and offers much traditional liturgy, which is often accompanied by very high quality singing and music. In addition to the chant/music, Fr has a hard-working group of parishioners to support him and who are very welcoming to visitors.
The parish also offers many special events: such as lectures, visits by high-profile prelates and traditional devotions and activities which the modern Church has tried to discard in error, such as the veneration of relics.
The parish has really flourished thanks to the hard work of Fr Morris and it is a real stand-out in the Archdiocese. Fr Morris's good example shows how the Archdiocese might revitalise itself, but sadly it seems content to just keep ploughing the same moribund furrow.
