b. c.Lovely old place, I always stop for a rest here when out cycling. Glad of the seat at the side of the church, and thankful the gate is always open. I've stopped here for years but never met a soul, always so peaceful and quiet.
Cycling is hard work, so it's always nice to get 5 or 10 minutes grace before hitting the trail back to East Kilbride.
There's a bit of history behind the kirk as well, but find that out for yourselves,
and if you do visit please be respectful of your surroundings.
