Z. P.Lovely old church . Went to have a look as the TV series the detectorists was filmed there and loved the area . Nice walks there too
P. R.The location of this pretty church is absolutely idyllic set in a remote, rural and picturesque setting. Built in 1350 though the base of the circular tower is 11-12th Century this is a Grade 1 listed building. The chancel kingpost roof dates it to the 14th Century whilst some of the pews are C15th.
Whilst it has undergone many revisions it remains a charming church and well worth a visit!
The welcoming painted sign on the adjacent toilet facility declares the church is always open!
