Norwegian seafarers Church. Has a Christmas Market every November. The service starts at 11.00.

We rehearsed for a play at the Church and the team there were INCREDIBLY HELPFUL AND KIND. They made us feel so welcome and often brought us fresh coffee when we were getting weary! The church itself is beautiful and steeped in Norwegian history. I'm so pleased that I experienced this little Norwegian outpost in London!

Great place to go especially when they are cohosting the annual scandinavian christmas markets. Pro tip: coffee and tea is all you can drink, you only pay for the cup. Find a place around one of the tables and wait for the staff to keep refilling your coffee cup.

Visits to the Norwegian church is always pleasant. We (in the writing group) are always received well and treated to coffee and waffles. But I don't believe the church is open to everyone- as it once was. Now it's often closed for visitors, and the high walls and locked gates (and SO locked, with huge chains) don't seem to welcome strangers! I am sad about that.

A small island of Norway, that went adrift and washed ashore near the Thames in London. Take your phrase book, wait to be introduced, pay a little more than you ought to for a perfectly made waffle served by an angel... but leave feeling you've had a short break in Scandinavia ! Wonderful place.

Interesting to discover a little of Norway in London. Great community feel at their Julebasar (Christmas fair) with opportunities to taste and buy Norwegian specialities plus gorgeous Christmas decorations and gifts. Great chance to see traditional costumes being worn as well.

A little piece of Norway in London. World famous for serving the best Scandinavian waffles. Make sure to check out the giant Viking statue inside the entrance.

What a fun little church - particularly in an area where many roads are named after Scandinavian places.
