C. H.Enjoyed their roof sunset watching and bells tour here, which is a regular tour at this church. Amazing views from a top of this church at sunset. Located less than 5 minutes walk from Leytonstone station and on High Road Leytonstone and Church Lane. There is regular market and other events. There is a cafe also and Alfred Hichcock events

G. J.As ever, not comfortable about church reviews as I am a tourist rather than religious. This is a fine CofE church with pleasant surroundings. We were fortunate that a church helper was there, who gave us a fascinating tour. Thanks for that.

S. B.Really friendly church in Bushwood end of Leytonstone. Great vicar, really helping to make Saint John the Baptist Church at the heart of the Leytonstone community, especially using the churchyard for so many markets like The Stones Throw Market and Leytonstone Churchyard Street Food Market or for the film nights in the churchyard to celebrate local boy, Alfred Hitchcock.
