Gorgeous to walk through . We happened upon an organ recital which we listened to briefly.

Magnificent church designed by Christopher Wren as the prototype for St. Paul’s Cathedral - a must see if you’re in the area of Bank in London - a short walk from the tube station - it is where the Samaritans were founded. The temple of Mithras is just across the road.

Went for a wedding there, beautiful historic church designed by Christopher Wren as a fore runner to St Paul's.

An indifferent exterior belies an elegant, understated and becalmed interior. Here you will find one of the most beautiful formal spaces in all London. Wondrous and uplifting.
Now what are you waiting for ?

Beautiful Christmas carol service. By the vicar and lovely readings by senior management of CMS . Great evening of chatting and friendship.

A brilliant sanctuary in these Lockdown times. I'm not sure when it's open, I just happened across it on passing. Wow! A rectangular church with a dome, apparently Chris Wren's first dome. You can see he got it right first time - then continued on to build St. Paul's! The altar (by Henry Moore) is slap bang in the centre under the dome. Think of theatre in the round - church-wise. What an imagination that man had! Go in for a bit of peace & quiet, your soul will thank you.

Beautiful little church a few steps from cannon Street tube station. It is very well kept with a magnificent dome.

There is a small Churchyard Garden, perfect for somewhere to stop, rest and reflect. There are a few seats in a clean and tidy space away from the hussle and brussle outside.

Splendid domed Wren church whose Henry Moore altar is stunningly beautiful.

What a beautiful church. Lovingly restored.
Actually I liked the fact that all the windows
were in transparent (not stained) glass so the
light could flow in, especially with such tall
buildings all around. Worth a visit and there is
plenty of information about it's history and other
churches in the City.
