Would have loved to have gone in but unfortunately it was closed that day. Heard much of the great speakers who've taught here from Morgan Campbell to Martyn-lloyd Jones. Built in 1865 the building is in great shape and continues to play a major but an unobtrusive influence. I say this since most passers-by could not direct us to the location.

I am interested to know if anyone has any images of the original construction. It is very hard to find. Apparently there was a hospital before. The building is very unique. I believe it was previously Mr Greene's three houses in Castle Lane at the junction of James Street and Petty France. The infirmary moved in 1735. 1719–1724. Were the houses knocked down or rebuilt using previous foundations to build the chapel?

Very Welcoming place with lovely kind helpful people. They also provide a food bank for those in need, give guided tours of the beautiful Chapel. Best to see on a Sunday. Everyone is welcome regardless of Religious Background.

We been attending this church for the past two weeks during our honeymoon. I can feel God and His presence in the service. Friendly and welcoming members. Sermons shared are firmly grounded on His word. We will surely visit this church again whenever we are back.

( Food bank) Staff are absolutely kind , genuinely kind , I can see kindness through their eyes . Willing to help , always offering hot drinks :) I had tears the first time I was here ( collecting food for my clients) . God bless you all really good . I am considering volunteering at my local food bank , Thanks to your kind hearts .

I've been coming to Westminster Chapel for around 4 years now, and it's a place where I feel really at home. I feel like I've made a new family and strong, lasting friendships.
The teaching is biblical, practical and challenging. It stands up for biblical truth and also addresses 'modern day' issues without skirting around the 'taboo' subjects (Check out the 'Mythbusters' series on the sermon archive).
God is at the centre of everything at this church; the worship is lively and spirit filled, and it's clear that this church really cares for the world around them with the CAP Debt Crisis, Foodbank, homeless ministries and also Alpha, Disciple and Try Prayer ministries it runs daily and weekly.
If truth, love and community is what you're searching for, in my experience, Westminster Chapel is a place where you'll find it!

I've felt well embraced, loved and accepted from the get go in the church. Nowhere is perfect but have fit right in. Solid teaching too. I'm grateful.

I must say my one and only experience of Westminster Chapel was for the Carols by Candlelight service on the 10th of Dec. And so my view maybe skewed some what. That said I can only comment on this service, which I found magical. Really heart warming and professionally conducted. Except, and a big except, was the main speaker who seemed to enjoy speaking more than other did listing to him. Short and sweet would have been best. But the choir were really good. There was mince pies and mulled wine after and it really gave us the Christmas buzz we were in search of.

A church famous for the Bible teaching of Martin Lloyd Jones which continues to disciple is congregation will, but also has a great to reach out with live, hope, and good news to the "least reached" of Westminster.
A wonderfully diverse congregation with a warm welcome.

What a lovely church! People were friendly and welcoming, and it was a great service... Fun, with a thought provoking message from the Bible. Strongly recommended.

Rote, reimagined Romanesque late 19th.Century red brick church with remodelled add-on tower. An imposing and inscrutable rather than an inviting and reassuring presence on the street.
A functioning church here of which I have no knowledge.

Visits weekly for BSF, not regular service. Big church with organ and piano. Easy access for transport. Flanked by many eateries for catching up with friends.
