A very friendly church which started around 12 years ago in somebody's front room! Now meets at the People's Theatre, which is refreshing. Where else do you see a bar area in a church (even though they only serve tea, coffee or cold drinks)? The congregation genuinely believe that they are just as broken as you are, which is a testimony to God's grace. Teaching is solid and biblical, home groups are very welcoming and there is a variety of age group so you will fit right in.

A friendly church focussed on Community, Word and Mission. People treat you like family and you are made to feel very welcome. It is a bit strange,at first, that this church does not meet in a traditional church building. However, after going for a few weeks it feels very in touch with the community around the Church. Christ Church Newcastle is conveniently located and is accessible by bike, bus, car, pedestrians and/or wheelchairs. While based in Heaton it is not far from the City or the Coast. The church service lasts just over an hour and it is family friendly in that children (even babies) are catered for throughout the service. Definitely worth a visit!
