I had the most amazing holy week attending all of the services. Very welcoming and every service was beautiful and spiritual. A beautiful church in the traditional Anglo catholic style under the House of Bishops Declaration. The most beautiful Maundy Thursday vigil with fabulous singing by a few members of the choir. I travelled 80 miles to attend this church every day for a week and definitely worth it. I would love to go again soon.

Visitors enter the church through the existing tower into a barrel vaulted nave. At the centre is a dome, supported on four Ionic columns, which is lit by a lantern above. The barrel vault extends into the aisles from the dome in a Greek-crossform, leaving four flat ceilings in the corners of the church. The church is well lit by plain glass windows in the aisles and originally there was a large east window in the chancel, that is now covered by a reredos. The plasterwork ceiling is finely decorated, and the barrel vaults are lit by elliptical windows.

Choir literally sound like angels. The organ (s) sound amazing and commanding. The place is quite nice inside.

Good to sit after you've bought a subway across the street

Beautiful church on the inside, with vaulted ceiling and interesting ornaments to rest your eyes on. As with all churches, your view point is limited depending on where you sit. If you are here for a church service, it probably doesn't matter too much. If you are here to watch a school carol service aka performance, then it makes it more of a struggle, including the leaving part scenario bottleneck. Otherwise, well worth a visit and coming on a regular basis for. Parking is very limited and you would have to park up in one of the nearby parking houses. If you are attending in the evening, know that the Grosvenor Centre parking closes at the earlier part of the evening. The Sol House parking is good, just park downstairs and walk up (be patient walking over the busy, main crossroad, though).

At the centre of Northampton town, the Church is a beacon of serenity and calmness, both within its beautiful interior and the fenced off external places. It hosts many community events such as the ones I photographed, the Northampton music festival. It has a lovely little cafe, run by young people being given a chance in rehabilitation. All in all a lovely place.

An areas history is reflected in it's churches and this one has a great deal to tell. I enjoy a moment or more in this one although I'm not a church goe'er I enjoy visiting them. The attached cafe is good but a life dear and has a huge competition and struggles with dropping foot fall in the town.
