T. S.Also known as J.R.R. Tolkien’s parish when he was writing the better part of the Lord of the Rings. The church is very nice. The paintings are very appropriate for the local parish and the saints that influenced the people of Oxford. Be sure to stop and say a prayer.
A. L.Holy Mass said with true devotion, faith and dignity which is a rare find these days. The building itself is beautiful and peaceful lending the atmosphere a more prayerful and quiet one.
M. R.First class & totally glorious. Fr Saward is a kind, Godly & Traditionally minded Roman Catholic Priest who has written extensively about the faith. This Church can be a glorious oasis of spiritual calm & peace where one can contemplate with joy Our Eucharistic Lord there present in the Tabernacle. The Traditional Latin Mass has been publicly celebrated here for 15 years& the stress on both beautiful liturgy & social justice are really two heads of the same coin. By adopting a bi-ritual approach you can bring people together 'That they may all be one.' And it enables the faithful to benefit from Precious gifts from God that have been wrongly disregarded by all too many since the profoundly misguided liturgical vandalism of the 1970s. The pro life activism & regular celebration of Exposition & Benediction are great Graces as is promotion of the Rosary & availability of Confession. Am ever thankful to Our Lord for the kindness shown to me here during my mother's illness & since her death. The Crib & Nativity scene has been the best ever- do please visit it before Christmas ends with Candlemas on Feb 2nd ! God be praised !

Ceremony was very traditional with the priest facing the altar and communion kneeling in front of the balustrade. Too bad that the Easter mass at 8 am was not enlivened by any song. Too ordinary. I wondered what Easter is it? The joy of the resurrection is not perceived.

Bella chiesa con persone molto accoglienti e molti bambini. Sfortunatamente la
Cerimonia è stata molto tradizionale con il sacerdote rivolto all'altare e comunione inginocchiati davanti alla balaustra. Peccatato che la messa di Pasqua delle 8 am non sia stata allietata da nessun canto. Troppo ordinario. Mi sono chiesto che Pasqua è? Non si percepisce la gioia della resurrezione.
